Warning! Honeylane has new groomers!!!!I've been taking my 3 fur babies to Honeylane for 3 years now, and their quality of work has declined. I've even referred people to them, and they came back with bad results. Where are the to the Old groomers Honeylane? Their New groomers are terrible. Say bye to the Teddy Bear cuts the old staff used to give. Now they shave your dogs bald because its easier to do. Then they lie and say the dog is matted. Not to mention that they overcharged me $125.00 with their new credit card machine. Never apologized, and I had to visit 3 times for a refund. All three of my shih-tzu seem traumatized after their cuts. I took them in on 4/20/2024. l asked them not to cut their hair on heads and trim their ears a little bit. My babies look like some little bald -headed Rats! They didn't follow instructions at all! The lady in charge skinned my babies. She looks like an alcoholic and has an attitude 😒 I asked her about one of the old employees who did good work. She replied that she had to get rid of her and gave me her new job location. I'm sorry that I have find a new groomer for my fur babies. Honeylane needs the old professional groomers back. RIP Honeylane from a valued customer. Ps I found out my last appointment was canceled once I arrived with the dogs. Because someone daughter had a 2nd baby . Wow!!!!

I have been trying to book an appointment for my dog for months, they require an appointment be booked 8 weeks in advance. 3 times they have cancelled my dog's appt in the past year due to the groomer calling off. When I get on the phone today, Saturday 4/20/24, to speak to someone, because AGAIN my appt for 1pm was cancelled, I spoke to a lady which I didn't get her name but she stated she was under alot of stress and because Kelly's father passed away in July, Kelly is in Florida and one of her groomers had to be let go because she had drug problems, the other called off today, whom she named Megan and stated "she is probably on drugs too". I strongly suggested she cancel another dog's appt who has probably been seen more times than mine and she replied saying she was not going to do that and that it is not her fault that the other groomers have drug problems and that my dog was scheduled to be groomed under the one that called off. I am so disappointed in this place. My first experience went great but after that I have not been able to get my dog taken care of. Worse of all, for this woman to expose all of this information because she is under stress to a customer, is a low blow for this place of business. She needs to be let go as well.

Very easy check in for boarding. Reception was very nice and good at explaining how they were taking care of our family puppy while we are away. We are going to miss him, but they made us feel at ease that he will be in good hands until we return.

Love their work and customer service. The only reason they didn’t get 5 stars is because they take long time . I waited 5 hours for a call back to come get my fur baby .. not just once but 3 times.. but their work is fantastic and they are really nice people! One time I didn’t get a call or text that he was ready and just pulled up to find out they were finished with him.

If I could put a double 0 I would! I wasn’t even trying to complain but I had a reminder of an appointment so I called the owner .. however my thing is that I brought my pup there and he wasn’t cut correctly. When I got him the lady just came to me with reasons (owner sis) $55 dollars no bandanna nothing and he’s not cut right but I was waiting on the owner… oh she said he wouldn’t be still and so forth and mentioned the good thing he wasn’t matted … he is like 8 human years and have been groomed since I’ve I had him with no problem I was just looking for someone close. The owner claimed he was matted absolutely not! I just want a groomer that knows what they’re doing … I WILL NOT RECOMMEND

She did a GREAT Job on Chase , his feet were perfectly trimmed, all his hair in-between his pads were trimmed away, all his private areas were neatly trimmed

Awesome, awesome , AWESOME customer service and grooming. Kelly, the owner, was so nice and accommodating. She was able to get my dog in for a last minute, well needed grooming. I think we’ve found our “home” and can’t wait to come back. She even scheduled our next appointment before leaving. I’m so thankful I found Honey Lane!! 10/10 would recommend!

First two times went well after that a complete disaster. They canceled multiple times and stayed to over charge for my dog. Then there reason is because they are under stressed and have people calling off because a drug addictions. Like are you serious?????? On top of all this the lady on the phone had the nerve to have an attitude and try to get mad with the customer. They lost my good comments and busniness

I love Honey Lane grooming and the owner is nice. However I see their grooming prices jumped $15 more per grooming. They usually do fantastic work for my 3 fur babies BUT I don't like when they let NEW groomers cut my 3 dogs hair. She did a terrible job on all 3 of my babies. I've never experienced such bad cuts on my dogs at this groomer. SO Disappointed with the job she did to all three of them. Good people But don't let inexperienced groomers cut my dogs hair.

They do a great job. Our dog is short hair so we don't require trimming but she does need baths. She comes back smelling so good and it seems to last forever. Reasonably priced as well.

I have a very spoiled and grumpy older Australian sheep herd dog named buddy . Shannon and Kelly are the only once that have been able to grow him and iv been to dozen of other shop with him in past they do a fantastic job and Buddy actually like going there and that makes hole experience that much better for him and me. I’ve had my toy poodle turned down multiple times at Other groomers they refused to groom her because she was difficult she’s only 2yrs old. I made an appointment at Honey Lane and they not only told me she wasn’t bad to groom but they painted her nails and she’s never looked better. She’s only been groomed professionally 2x and each time she looked like a little goat or pony now she looks like a poodle and I couldn’t be happier. Second time taking my two shih tzu's to an outside groomer in about 6yrs. We were working with a groomer who made house calls until he became sick about a year ago.My first experience with an outside groomer did not meet my expectations. However, my second experience which was with honeylane was a great one! They took us right away even though we came in 30 minutes prior to our appointment. My dogs looked great, the price was very reasonable. We've already made our 8 week follow up appointments.Thanks honeylane!

Just took my beloved Puggle, Zeddy, in for his first grooming here... awesome staff... great set-up... we just moved to the Homewood-Flossmoor area and were disappointed to leave our previous groomer in the city of Chicago... They do such a wonderful job!!! I love the cut and pretty bows they put on my "cookie" pooh. This will be my regular groomer from now on. Also the ladies are very nice and professional!
