Our groomer of nearly 14 years broke her wrist and I needed our dog groomed. First time here and I didn’t quite know what I had booked on line. When I got to the shop I had asked for a bath; luckily Colleen was able to fit me in for more than I had booked. While waiting to be checked in, another customer told me that all of the groomers are fantastic and my dog would be in good hands. And that was totally correct! Colleen did an excellent job and I really appreciated her time and talent. Wonderful people and very friendly!

Love Petsmart Grooming in Hoffman Estates! I took Morena yesterday and Chiquita today. Extremely satisfied with the results, Collen S took care of Morena yesterday and Miranda C groomed Chiquita today. Both ladies are very caring, professional and courteous. It shows how much they love their job and strive to be better every day 😊 I had a negative experience with another petsmart groomer in the past but I decided to try another location and was not disappointed. I usually go to the Petsmart in Streamwood but they were completely booked..I have to say it's hard to decide which groomers are nicer: the ones that work in Petsmart at 140 Barrington Rd in Streamwood or the ones on Sutton Rd in Hoffman Estates..You won't go wrong with either one! Thank you!

Colleen (groomer) was terrible!! Wow what an unprofessional person! Made our dog look like a clown, worst groomer!!!! Very unprofessional!!! She was laughing in my face as my daughter was crying. Made every excuse in the book why she didn’t finish her job. Our dog is the sweetest mini doodle, and because she pooped in the cage she decides she will not groom her and suggested training!?!. Her attitude is so bad! She is the one that needs a lot of training!!! Horrible!!! I’m still in complete disbelief in what she did to our dog😭

Very often they have sick fish. Also the workers there have very minimal training on customer service. They never smile and greet you, and even if you do it 1st they look like they were forced to go to work and hate their job. Prepare to wait for 10+ minutes if you want them to pick fish for you

If I had the option to give this place zero stars I would. Worst grooming place I take my pit to many different places and I’ve never had a problem. They cut my dog trying to tell me that he did that to himself.it’s a Unprofessional place to get you’re dog groom luckily I didn’t want to be a bad person and throw them a lawsuit. I just wanted them to pay the vet bill to make sure he was okay.

I bring my Standard Poodle and Yorkie mix to Merrily for grooming. She is very detailed and takes her time, not rushing through which I appreciate. There are SO many great stylists at this salon, you can’t go wrong!

I went here to look for some fish and I was disgusted by what I saw. There were a lot of dead fish almost in every tank. One tank had a pile of dead fish and some look like they have been there for weeks. I just saw someone’s review regarding the same issue and that was 2 weeks ago! This is not okay. I’ve gone to other petsmarts and petco and they are not like this. Something needs to be done. I will never go back to this one again.

If you have a pet, or you are looking for a new pet, PetSmart is a good place to go. They seem to have just about everything you need. They have food, supplies, toys, cages, carriers, etc., for just about every type of pet you might have.

Easy to find what you came for. Store is well stocked and employees are helpful. We also so cat adoptions which is also a wonderful thing! We donated to adoptions and also baught a toy for a child N in the hospital. Made me feel good to do so. Glad this store believes in helping out when needed in the community.

Big box store. You can find almost anything your looking for when it comes to your Pet. Wish staff was a little more accesible and knowledgeable. It is Pet friendly.

Obviously the experience with seeing the pets there and stuff is really nice but the environment is just weird. It feels like there hasn't been a change for a decade. Usually stores are clean and you feel like being in there but other than seeing the pets, I really didn't want to be in there for longer than a minute. The setup of the place is alright though. 3 stars.

We had our pups bathed and groomed here and they did a wonderful job. There were no delays on their part and they even adjusted the appointment for us due to an unforeseen issue. They were very friendly and helpful. We look forward to our next grooming session. The store is clean and well organized.

Tiffany & Christine are hands down the BEST. The nail trimming/grinding, baths, and haircuts from these ladies are magnificent. Our pup is always treated with care and love when he is there. The only PetSmart in the area that we will go to!

All there fish are infected and when I told there workers they looked at me and didn't care ..so that means the employees don't care about the dead fish and there water are disgusting...I took some plecos home and they ended up ding in 1day I did everything right but all my fishes died because there failure at PetSmart not doing there jobs right and they only help Pacific people and ask for help they come all mad and don't listen in the things you want but then just package it and give it to you and if I told them that you don't want that ..they get mad 😡🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩I don't recommend this PetSmart and will be going to all PetSmart and check there fishes if they are healthy or just dead tanks with dirty water ...and there CEO don't see there business that they ain't running right and most employees don't know a lot about fishes or anything smh 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩😡😡

I submitted an order online to be picked up. After a few days, I was sent an email stating someone had picked up my order. I contacted customer support online and made attempts to contact the store with no avail. I keep getting pushed into circles and it was incredibly NEGLIGENT to have given someone else my order without confirming it was the correct person who was picking it up. I spent more than $50 on this order and I am rightfully upset. After three weeks I am still asking for a refund. This has never happened to me before. I’ve made several orders online to be picked up in person and I’ve used the curbside pickup feature several times at several different stores. This feels violating and I feel as though I’ve been stolen from and Pet Smart is culpable. Please, ensure the correct order is given to the correct person. I would hope this never happens to anyone.

I realize it is hard to find employees everywhere right now. If you're going to work at a pet store you can at least have some compassion for animals. This store needs A LOT of work in the hiring department. I felt like the only person working hard tonight (1/22/22) was the volunteer taking care of the cats. We had mentioned to the staff that one of the fish was dying. (It was swimming erratically) and we were concerned. Not to mention that this could have easily been a spreadable disease to the rest of the tank. The employee made a comment that a lot of the time fish come in sick. Not exactly the right thing to say to a fish owner or any customer.I couldn't believe how rude and insensitive the employee was at the register tonight. NO PET OWNER WANTS TO SEE THE KIND OF PET THEY HAVE IN A DOG TREAT AT THE REGISTER. We were very upset to see dog treats with 🐇 in them as we were checking out. It seriously made me sick to my stomach. When we made a comment about how terrible as pet owners it was to see this at the register the employee felt it necessary to say, " "Well, there's dog treats with chicken in them too!"I will not be shopping at Petsmart again.

I placed a paid online order for pick-up at the PetSmart in Hoffman Estates. My order was ready to be picked up within the hour. Everyone was so nice and I went in to pick up my dogs food and left within a minute. Thanks PetSmart for making it so quick and easy.

Clean store with friendly staff. Good selection of items and supplies for everything from fish to reptiles to small animals and dogs and cats. Small animals are healthy and cared for hazard the fish and reptiles. Prices are a little steep compared to other stores. I would get the animals from here since they are very healthy but some of this supplies I might go elsewhere due to some of the prices unless there was a sale which when they do have them are usually pretty good

Store manager is arrogant, condescending, and prejudice. He be giving me Buster Bluth and Ben Stein vibes. An individual such as him is someone who shouldn’t be in charged of such establishment. Petsmart don’t be sorry, DO BETTER.
