I brought my ring and my watch in for cleaning- both of which hadn't been professionally tended for far longer than I'm prepared to admit. When I got them back, the watch shone like new and he'd managed to get enough scratches out of the watch face that I could read the tiny date numbers along the edge again for the first time in a year.And then they handed back my ring. And all I could say was "How??" It looked better than when it was in the jeweler's case prior to being purchased for my 21st birthday.Seriously, these people know their stuff.
