Love having a hometown grocery store, I know brand name prices are higher, but I'd rather support this place than Walmart. Whoever is currently running the bakery is a GENIUS! I've always loved their donuts, but this person has taken them to the next level! The peaches and cream and cherry cheesecake donuts are a MUST! They are awesome!!.

The foreign woman working behind the deli counter needs to learn English I asked for chop ham and baby swiss had 2 repeat myself twice and she still didn't understand what I wanted. I left without purchasing deli.

Great small town grocery store. The selection is more limited, and prices might be a bit higher than walmart. Still, they'll have what you need, and you'll get it with friendly service without having to drive very far. For day to day needs or expedient ingredients, there's no good reason not to support this local business.

The IGA in Hillsboro is a store worth going to. Great selection of merchandise and the meat is great...... The workers are friendly and are there to give you help when needed.....

Since it is the only grocery store in town I don't mind it if I can though I usually try to avoid coming here., however it is usually over priced and my produce is usually rotten or goes rotten after a day or so, especially the potatoes. Everytime I buy them by the next day they have gone bad. So I tend to avoid produce here. The staff is great and always friendly though which is why I still gave it at least 3 stars.

I had never shopped at the Hillsboro IGA before going there. I had stopped by Walmart in Litchfield and they were out of the items I needed, so I called the Hillsboro store to check and see if they had what I needed and yes they did. The staff were very pleasant and helpful in showing me where the items were located in the store. The check out lady was very nice while we chatted about the impending weather. I prefer to shop local when I can to support small businesses. I will shop the Hillsboro IGA again in the near future.

The staff here is excellent. They are friendly and quick at getting you checked out. It is often not super crowded. The produce is not always as fresh as I would like, but they do a great job overall.

prices are a little higher than Walmart but there is a better selection on soda, juices and other products as well. so you're not limited to only what Walmart wants you to buy

The prices are those of a full service/carry out grocery store but the service is slim. Most times you do it yourself including bag your own. Currently the shelves are getting bare.

I love small, locally owned businesses. This place is wonderful. When they have sales, the price is excellent. Great business to have in town. Nice selection and friendly service.

Worst deli ever. Did you wonder why their cases are always full,you can't get waited on. More important for their employees to be on phone. They just lost my 120-150 per week. Their cashier are wonderful, helpful, but why shop at a store you have to go elsewhere to get the rest of your groceries. Plus I just went thru my 151.ticket and saw I was charged 3.99 lb. For 1.99lb.grapes. either register wrong or it is hang a sign with wrong price.

Very nice and polite workers if they are out of something on the shelves they will go to the back and see if there is any more of that productThey go out of their way to make your visit pleasant as possible

The best fried chicken ever. Seriously love it. The prepared food is really good and they'll give you samples to make sure you're getting what you want. And they have a nice floral selection

I Hate shopping here unless they are haven a sale.. Everything is priced like it's a gas station you know convince pricing. I'd just pay the extra in gas to go to another store out of town. You might pay a little for gas but you get way more for your money at another store.

Ok. The Cashier did not clean her hands between customers. Not such a big deal except she needed to open my item and scan one piece for some reason. She did not ask me if she could do that. I would have preferred she not.

A full service grocery store. Good sales. Some regular prices are a bit higher that the huge chains but not bad. Great deli and bakery items. Fresh eggs meat and milk.

We were shopping for a birthday cake and even though there was a nice selection they didn't have the type cake we were wanting. The prices have gone up and selection has gone down, but that's everywhere now.

Ordered a cake from the bakery. The woman I talked to was very helpful, the cake was wonderfly decorated and was moist and delicious.
