Pretty good selection, surprised they had specifically what was needed, prices were 5-10% higher then I've seen in collinsville and springfield but if it saves the drive then it pays for itself.

The selections are ok, nothing special but the young employees are NOT friendly at all. In fact, I hate going to this store for this very reason. We all work too hard to have to deal with some cold rude kid at the register.

Awesome employees. Super helpful and friendly. Everything's organized neatly and easy to find in the products section. They have liquid fire for cleaning drains and it is the best drain cleaner I've seen. Open a window, turn on the vent, pour and let it sit for a minute then wash it down with cold water 3 to four times to make sure no residue is left behind.

Avoid their paint and caulk. 7/10 times you will get an expired product that is separated or hardened. We've lost a short $300 trying different brands.Its not an individual product... Either they store it poorly or it is never bought and expires on the shelf.

managers gms they don’t know what they’re doing can barely keep the floor staffed for the place as well discriminating against pregnant women I’ve seen the owner comments under review I’ve called and tried to reach out to you but no will give me your contact information I would like to talk before me and my pregnant wife do take legal actions 10/10 don’t recommend going here under current management.

Everytime I am there, they have normal items in stock. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. When i look something up online, if it said it can be picked up today, they have it in stock when you get there. Just today I went to get sand for my pool filter. Website said they had they 3 bags I needed in stock. When I arrived there was only one on the shelf. I asked the cashier, they had plenty in stock and brought it to my vehicle with a forklift and loaded it. Great place.

Slow and unorganized. Waited in line over 30 minutes while 3 different people looked up how to ring up 4 outside chairs instead of walking out side and getting chairs to scan. Finally at last they went and got the 4 chairs.

Ace has come a long way here in Hillsboro IL.That being said the staff here are educated about their jobs and strive to meet the customers needs.The store is well maintained including the restroom.Outdoor Season is now and the area outside is ALWAYS well kept after NO matter how busy the day.Great job staff.Darren Traylor5.18.20DT:DT

Has alot of stuff you can't get at RP, Rural King, or Walmart. Of course, they have things that Ace doesn't have too. But we need Ace hardware in town.

They advertised get 5 bucks for EVERY $25 spent .had to ask for the coupon & should have gotten 3 coupons of 5 bucks .Apparently they keep them for themselves. Won't be shopping there any more.
