My experience at Miramar was amazing, the food was spectacular and really tasted amazing, our server, Sebastian really made us feel welcome and was really what made us feel special, If you are planning on visiting I would definitely recommend him, not only was he great in recommending dishes but really went the extra mile in being great. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Miramar. It has that European charm, transporting you to a different realm. Each dish we ordered was exceptionally delicious, and the service, particularly from our server was outstanding. Their attentiveness and efficiency elevated the overall experience. I definitely plan on returning here in the future with friends and family.

Although Miramar offers excellent meals and a well-designed environment, that evening's service left a bit to be desired. We were seated promptly as we had a reservation.The water came quick, with the choice of sparkling or still. The bread and waiter were quick as well; the issue was with the utensils. The man who would bring utensils didn't come many times; we had to ask him three times for new forks and knives after they were taken. The food, as I said, was great. With good flavors and a balanced use of ingredients, the food didn't feel overfilling. The steak frites and crème brûlée were the shining items at our meal. I would overall say it's 3–4 stars only due to the issue with utensils; it may have been only that night; still, that was my experience.

Enjoyed a great meal at this Italian spot in Highwood, Illinois. What really stood out was the service—absolutely phenomenal. Our server, Memo, was exceptionally knowledgeable and attentive, making our experience unforgettable. The atmosphere was fantastic, too. This is probably the best Italian restaurant in Highwood. Highly recommend.

I absolutely loved this place. The feel inside is very European. It feels like you are transported into another world. Every single dish we ordered tasted amazing. The service was top-notch, especially from our drinks guy Antonio. He was so attentive, very on top of things, and made the experience even better. I will keep coming back here for sure.

Went on Monday for lunch. Service was great . Very nice ambiance. Loved the fresh bread. Got the French onion soup which was delicious. Cuban sandwich with shoestring fries, the sandwich was good but far from a Cuban sandwich. Fries were a little weird to eat but were yummy. the reason I was there was because I was in the mood for a crème brûlée, it did not disappoint. Did enjoy the trip out there. Next time might try something else on the menu.

The atmosphere is surreal. Cozy and a mix of European/Cuban. The tables, the light fixtures, the subway tiles, the candles, the ceilings, gosh! Even the bathrooms are perfect! The food was excellent and the presentation superb. Thank you.

Came to celebrate another birthday dinner here. Consistently delicious food and excellent service. This visit we had Oysters for our starter and for entrees, the roasted Salmon and mushrooms with horseradish sauce and Linguini with clams, spinach and garlic. A bottle of Malbec was a nice complement. Great atmosphere and vibe. Love this place!

Was looking forward to lunch here. Ordered the dover sole.This was the worse piece of fish I have ever had. It was fishyand over cooked .. so very dry. Another had the scallopsand thought the sauce was just weird tasting. Service nothing special. We should of sent the fish back and ordered a burger

ALL of the food was delicious, starting with the bread, then onto perfectly prepared calamari, and then concluding with chicken and duck.The service was second to none!The restaurant is very intimate, clean and well-maintained.

Enjoyed our experience however there were a few misses in regards to some menu items. Foie gras was a generous portion but the sweetness was clumped into one bite. Our son said the dish was too sweet whereas our portions were in a dire need of a touch of sweetness. Also, part of the foie was burnt. The salad seemed to have no dressing at all. On the bright side the mussels were tasty and perfectly cooked, oysters were fresh, lamb was medium rare as we ordered it.

This spot gives tropical and Cuban vibes, and all crafty cocktails and food vibes. Both exterior and interior decor are beautiful. Plenty of candle wax used and on display as well. Mojito was excellent, not too sweet. Complimentary Bread and Butter was nice - bread was soft on the inside and had a toasty crust. Ordered Olives Herb Marinated to munch on as an appetizer, then the Cuban Ham & Cheese Sandwich (aka Cubano) with Frites. The Sandwich was perfectly sized and Frites were perfectly crispy and just the right size of thin. Should have asked for mustard for the Sandwich but was just fine without it. Maybe next time. There are also eggs on display at the bar area which we were told were for eating. Maybe will try that next time too! Will definitely get the Onion Soup Gratinée (French Onion Soup) next visit or opt for the Lunch Combination (Half Salad, Hald Sandwich, Cup of Soup), and will have to try the Tiramisu!Parking: Plenty of street parking.

Miramar is our go-to French Bistro close to us in Deerfield. The service is always good most of the time.This last time was just ok service because of a big table near us that seemed to be taking up our servers time, and he had no backup.The food is always good. This time, we had some oysters to start, a lyonnaise salad, and my wife had the roast chicken and I had the Skate-wing special. The skate was a but over cooked, but still good.Their lyonnaise salad is one of their most consistent dishes. The egg yolk is runny, and the dressing to lardon/crouton ratio was good.I did discover a slight drawback in their bar. No full sized ice cubes, only 1-kind of sweet vermouth, and not a lot of choices for cocktails.The wine list has a nice variety and seemingly fair prices.We'll continue to frequent this establishment :)

Come here just for dessert! The Creme Brûlée is incredible. Not overly egg-y. The toffee is crunchy and the dark chocolate is delicious! The flourless cake drizzled with pistachio is soooo yummy. The huge candles are so cool!!!! They’re everywhere and have been burning for 4-5 years. How cool is that?

Fabulous place. We have twin new borns and the staff was totally protested to accommodate our seating needs as well as our 4 year old strange food requests (mustard sandwich) and the food was spectacular.

Busy atmosphere excellent dining. This Onion soup 🍲 was outstanding rich and thick with Wonderful topping of cheese. Linguine with clams and spinach & garlic ,warmed the soul. Bouillabaisse was full of seafood and the broth so full of flavor it could have been a meal by itself

Salmon with mushrooms and horseradish sauce. Tasteless! Service was nice that's it. The fish was unseasoned, and the sauce terrible. Horseradish? There was no kick to it, no salt no pepper. Did anyone taste the sauce before serving it?
