Amazing cafe inside a supermarket. Such cute space. Must return to shop.The duck taquitos and asada taco dinner plate were both so good. The green sauce never disappoints.Can’t wait to try the empanadas

I only have a review on the outdoor dining.I am SHOCKED at all the positive reviews on the food.I was very disappointed in the food. We ordered tacos, fajitas, enchiladas, margaritas and pina coladas.The salsa for the chips/salsa was weird tasting, it wasn't an authentic salsa you expect.Not enough booze in the drinks at all.Don't order the steak fajitas - the steak was bland and too tough.While the server was nice, I would not go here again for Mexican food.

This place was great! I was a little sad they don't have Challah French Toast nor Blintzes anymore, but I got the Ceviche instead and it was SO GOOD. They also made me fried plantains with just sugar because I didn't want the ice cream, and they have Abuelita hot chocolate!! The plantains were perfect, crunchy on the outside and perfectly soft inside. Great and attentive service too. We will definitely be back. I forgot to take a picture of my Ceviche, but I remembered for the plantains and hot chocolate!

Highland Park: Love the food and atmosphere! Best service! However, I’m more disappointed by your hours. Within the last month, I’ve tried to bring my family for a birthday dinner on Saturday and tonight wanted to take my kids out for dinner and you’re closed. I wish you would open on Friday and Saturdays.

It is amazing here. There food is very good. Even after 9pm they give good food service with great drinks. Chips with salsa is amazing. Lingua burrito and lingua casadillia was amazing.

We went to Highwood for the Pumpkin Festival. We should have opted for street food because, I think those vendors were better prepared for the crowd. We saw how hard the owner was working to accommodate the patrons wanting to dine at his place, he graciously accommodated the three of us at a table inside.I would like the owner to know we recognized how hard you & your family were working which is why we overlooked ALL that didn’t go right during our 90 minute experience. Our food was finally served. I’m struggling to describe how awful it was other than cold & unappetizing. Our server (son) eventually returned to our table and asked if we’d like a box for the leftovers (we barely did more than taste) I thanked him for working so hard & mentioned we couldn’t eat our food because it was horrible. His response was “it is what it is” and handed us the check. There was no apology or attempt to resolve the issue. So my comment to you is…we get these are VERY difficult times for restaurants, we understand what a challenge it is operationally. Please acknowledge those who are tying to help keep your doors open! Don’t serve them gross food on a plate & when it happens acknowledge it & apologize. Last night we spent way to much $$ for the worst meal ever!

So at a glance, i decided I wanted to try this place this afternoon, it was definitely not what I was expecting, it’s like a grocery store with some tables set off to one side , tacos are my favorite so I decided to give it a try, we sat down and a woman with dark hair and tattoos came down and slammed some salsa and chips in front of us and as I was addressing my husband she rudely cut me off and said hold on a minute and and walked a way and started speaking to a guy in Spanish that sat down after us and took his order for drinks. FIRST OFF YOU THIRSTY CHEAP LOOKING CLASSLESS WOMAN WITH NO HOME TRAINING!, I was not speaking to you at all , so I got up and we walked right out, so some guy came chasing us down the sidewalk asking what’s wrong, my husband told him what happened, I felt bad for him, he looked upset, he just lost business from the restaurant that was empty before we walked in due this rude woman and sadly I will not return here, I really wanted to try the food, I ended up going to Another restaurant , service was amazing there and so was the food! The waiter earned an excellent tip!!! Almost the amount of the bill, because he has EXCELLENT MANNERS and hospitality! I highly encourage anyone reading this review go somewhere else instead

We chose this restaurant because it had a sign from chicago's best. The portions we huge and the food was good so im giving them 3 stars. However the service was lacking. We did go during the pumpkin festival so im sure this contributed. They didnt seem to have very many customers when we arrived but they kept serving the people sitting outside and the smaller parties inside. After they took our order and gave us our drinks we never saw our waitress. After 45minutes the children in our party were starting to get cranky and so we asked for the bill for our drinks and we were going to leave. It was only at this point that the manager came over and asked us to give them 10 minutes. They had all our food out in 5 minutes after that. We had a total wait time of 50-55 minutes for our party of 10 (6 adults and 4 children) and our bill was around $160. They food was good but not worth the wait or the price.

I love this place, they have the best veggies tostadas. Theory reason they are getting 4 stars instead of 5 is because of their heavy use of plastic. Every time we order delivery and ask for no plastic ware the bags are packed full of plastic utensils. They also wrap everything in plastic wrap, somethings need to be but not everything.

Everything other places do, he does better. Isaac is an amazing chef and a great personality! You won't regret or forget a visit here. It can get busy but it's worth the wait. At all of the festivals Isaac has double tents, there's a reason.

They are great guys. The store is clean and well stocked. But the food is fabulous. A whole chicken with onion, peppers, rice & beans is 16 and can easily and happily feed four. The tamales and enchiladas and delish. And nowadays all the skinny moms are gulping down their "green drink". I've never had it being an fat dad. But it is my neighborhood grocery store fast food place and I love it!

Between 2 and 4 times a week and I always feel like I'm getting food from family when I dine here. From taking my order over the phone for the amazing breakfast burritos, to the delicious quesadillas, tacos. I definitely recommend Isaac to anyone looking for a great meal.

I was actually in the park earlier today and my kids were playing along with other kids at the park and the owner of this restaurant driving his truck along with a wagon to set up his tent for the fresh market they have on Wednesday at the park and doesn’t have no one guiding him literally a lady had to grab her kid down so he could pass but that shouldn’t be aloud it’s a park their kids running around and to find out he didn’t bring nothing down he did a big circle for nothing he was all the way on the other side compared to where the kids where playing it was really dangerous
