My wife and I randomly discovered this place, and it didn't disappoint! We were hoping to find a chill spot to grab a drink with low-key vibes, and this was exactly the place we were looking for. They have fantastic beer, easy-going nature, and it just feels like a place you want to hang. They have an awesome array of board games which we love, and took part in. We had to cut the night short but it was a spot we could have stayed for hours. We now know exactly where to hit up next time we go to Highwood!

One of the owners does the beer picks and he always has something interesting to say about the beer I pick.If you aren't looking to sit down to drink, you can still find something unique in their fridge and take it to go. You get $4 off of every can when you take it to go. Worth making this place your go-to beer place.

Ziggy and Phil have an amazing selection of local beers with an incredible knowledge of breweries in the area. I have discovered so many new breweries and styles here and whenever I have had questions, they had answers and great insight. It is an amazing place to come in the summer and sit out on the patio with a book and read and enjoy a delicious beer. I would recommend to anyone who loves craft beer and enjoys a great atmosphere.

Super knowledgeable and friendly owner. Great for flights of beer and refrigerated cases of unique brews. No food, but Tons of taco places within a block to grab a bite to eat white doing on beers over here. Outdoor seating as well!

Such a great place to get beer and beer and beer. BUT I would like to say this one thing, and it's okay if others disagree- I think they should serve a couple options of appetizers and that's it. Because honestly, drinking beer without something to accompany it is just not as enjoyable. The staff are always super nice and this place is awesome. Don't get me wrong. But again, some small additions might make a major improvement here! Just my opinion.

Great selection of fine craft products. It's a little awkwardly arranged, and gets super loud as soon as there are more than 6 people in the place. During the summer they cover part of the sidewalk into a great little patio, though, and the noise inside is offset by cozy tables and a generally good-natured vibe.They say they serve "coffee shop style) which basically means you order at a register and they deliver the beer to you from the counter there.

Great place to relax and try new beers! We came on a Saturday night and they kept the place open until almost midnight - well past closing time. It was great to have a place open late to enjoy the night with friends!

The atmosphere of this place doesn't feel quite right. The "order here" cafe type system makes sense but isn't very clearly marked if you've never been there before. The people pouring are knowledgeable. Overall, I think there is definitely room for improvement.

Art of Beer it ain't. Five or six taps and the rest is all canned. Decent selection, but I can buy any of this stuff for less at any local liquor store, and the atmosphere is not worth the markup. The place in Chicago might be what they want, but the one in Highwood feels like a Chili's bar. Generic and pretty dull. I don't wish them ill, but I have a dozen better bars, in the area. They seem to do a decent business, but, honestly, I don't know anyone who is a repeat customer.A swing and a miss. 'Shame, really...Edit: Turns out they have 16 taps, now. My mistake. Thanks for the correction. I would have never found out.

If you like beer or even trying different varieties, this is a nice spot. The fact that you can bring your young child with you to chill and hang out and play games, it's a bonus. Wasn't too busy or crowded either.
