So sad that the place is so run down now. We take a family trip every year for our girls birthday and Easter celebration. We loved the swimming pool and the room were at one time very clean and taken care of. But the pool was ice cold, I don't think it was even heated. The kids did swim for a bit but they got too cold. I was hoping that they possibly just didn't have the heat pump on because they were dead and maybe they turned it on when we started swimming. There is black mold all over the walls of the indoor pool area and there were no lights as it started to get dark. There were only 3 wet towels to choose from and when we asked for some new ones they brought us 2 for 5 people. So after that we headed out for dinner and came back to shower and get ready for bed. We pulled the blankets down and there were stains all over the sheets and underside of the blanket. After further inspections we found red stains on the carpet. The pillows were as small as you could possibly get, and there was no bedding for the pull out couch. I'm so bummed we won't be back as we enjoyed the short trip and adventure for our family. Maybe thing will turn around for them but the outlook is grim. There service was very uncomfortable as we checked in too. As we packed up to leave, because we weren't even going to bother having the things we needed taking care of, the front desk help did ask why we weren't staying the night and I just didn't even want to get into it. We were still charged full price and that's why I'm making this post. I was hoping they would do the right thing but they didn't. So here is my unfortunate bad rating post. As I'm a small business owner myself, I hate giving bad reviews because I like to think that sometimes things happen beyond owners control and can be saved by doing the right thing. They did not and I'm 100 percent dissatisfied and disappointed.

New ownership and staff. I've stayed here a few times over the past few years. This past stay was by far the most comfortable and inviting the entire place has ever felt. The new staff are very professional and courteous. The breakfast bar selection is great with the waffle maker stealing the show. The beds are the most comfortable I've ever experienced in any hotel room anywhere.Rooms: The rooms are clean and the beds are unbelievably comfortable.

Stayed for a wedding with block rate. They tried to get 20 dollar charge for checking in early but the wedding was at 3 pm and you had to check into change before 4. This is very bad business. Rooms did not have enough electric access. Had to move furniture to charge cell phone. Housekeeping male dressed in plain clothes came in while I was sleeping at 830 am. Tried to charge regular rate for room when room amount had to be changed. Refused to pay reg rate and 20 dollar surcharge. Breakfast was good. Very poorly managed.

Awesome stay. Staff is very caring and accommodating. They really hear your needs out and try very hard to fulfill it. My friends wedding got really amazing with there help of going beyond to get the need addressed. Some guest don’t understand the difficulties that any hotel can have. They let you check inn early even at very minimal cost rather than making it to “two night minimal stay” like other hotels. Early check inn for $20-30 bucks is very very helpful because we got to get ready and refresh for wedding and not pay for 2 nights. Hope people actually look at good stuff rather than 1-2 small issues. Good Luck Seasons Inn! We will always love to be here when ever we are in the area. We’ll always support!!!! This is by far the worst hotel I ever stayed at. I was in and out of three different rooms in less than 24hrs. There’s a strange smell to every room you walk into and it does NOT smell clean. I definitely saw bed bugs, blood stains on the carpet like a crime scene, cereal under couch cushion, mouse/bug traps by the window. The ironing board cover was dirty and stained. The start of spider webs in the corners of the rooms. The latch to secure the door was broke. I have pictures to prove what I’m talking about. The bathroom in the lobby was dirty as well!! I never went to sleep and I left all bags closed!! Will NEVER stay here again!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel under its new ownership, and I must say, the positive changes are remarkable. From the moment I stepped into the establishment, it was evident that cleanliness is a top priority for the kitchen/ overall staff who are always on the go, ensuring a hygienic environment.The dedicated staff at the Staas and throughout the hotel were incredibly helpful and attentive, going above and beyond to meet the needs of their guests. Their commitment to customer satisfaction was truly impressive, making my stay even more enjoyable.The hotel itself has transformed into a plain yet clean establishment. While the hotel finds its new image.The new ownership has evidently put great effort into upgrading the cleanliness standards, creating a refreshing ambiance throughout. The attention to detail in maintaining a spotless environment did not go unnoticed and greatly added to my overall experience.However, they do provide fresh baked cookies during the week and hot breakfast during the weekend this does not overshadow the numerous improvements made under the new management. The exceptional service from the staff and the heightened focus on cleanliness truly outweigh any minor inconveniences.In conclusion, I highly recommend this hotel for those seeking a comfortable and pleasant stay. The recent changes have brought forth a noticeable improvement, leaving guests with a positive impression. The friendly and helpful staff combined with the commendable cleanliness standards make this establishment stand out from the rest. Stayed in August. Worse hotel. The shower curtain was moldy and when we told them about it, all they did was try to clean it. Still moldy when we came back that evening (photo). You could see the mold around the rim of the sink and tub faucet also.Photos online show chafing dishes implying a hot breakfast of eggs and a protein. The only thing hot would be if you made the waffles. Breakfast staff wasn't very helpful. Didn't replace items when they ran out that morning like orange juice and milk.Do not recommend this hotel.

"Had the best time at this cozy place! Super comfy beds, the room was spotless, and the view? Just wow! The staff will always there for your needs with a smile. There is a complimentary breakfast with many varieties and fresh fruits as well ! Definitely a five-star experience! Would stay there again.best hotel and definitely need to say budget friendly. Will definitely recommend this hotel

Hey friend! I gotta tell you about this amazing motel I stayed at in Highland, Illinois. It's called the season inn and suites Highland Motel, and it totally exceeded my expectations! The rooms were spotless and comfy, with all the amenities I needed for a great stay. The staff was super friendly and went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. Plus, the location was perfect, with easy access to all the cool spots in town. I highly recommend checking out the Highland Motel for a top-notch stay. Might have been my worst experience with a hotel ever. A block of rooms was reserved for my daughter's wedding with a credit card. They gave some rooms away and overbooked. We had guests that had to find another hotel last minute. They tried to charge us $20 above what we origionally booked the rooms. Some guests actually paid it. I also had to wait five minutes before someone showed up at the front desk to check me in. Also, the lock was missing on the door to the adjoining room so the adjoining room had full access to my room if they wanted. Etc. The worst part was they didn't care. Just wanted my credit card. I can get along with anyone but this got to the point of ridiculous. Frustrating! Plan to file a complaint with BBB.

I stayed overnight here for a wedding in Highland. When we got there they charged us 20 extra dollars because we were early apparently, but people after us were not charged extra. As it was reported by family that they were not charged coming in minutes after us. Once in the process of checking in, the lady did not seem to have any competence of know what she was doing, and took another 30 minutes trying to get us checked in. They couldn’t figure out how to make us keys. Once in the hotel room they were stains all over the wall. Under the bed had never been cleaned with various trash items, and old food under the bed. Sheets were not clean with mold on the box frame of one bed, and a urine stain on the mattress of the other one. Also the back stairwell the hand rail was completely taken off just laying on the stairs. In my opinion not worth the 80 dollars.

The room had a funny smell when we went in. It got better after the AC was turned on, however. There were random stains on the walls, bedding, and floors. There was an old coffee packet left in the coffee maker. The shower didn't drain well. WIFI was intermittent. Pool looked open (no sign indicating otherwise), but lights were off, and although the water looked clean and was warm, it was lower than that top step to enter. Coffee was lukewarm at breakfast, and I am guessing it was leftover in the dispenser from the day before. Staff was pleasant when checking in, but after checking in, I never saw anyone actually visible at the front desk - not sure if they were sitting off to the side or something. They beds were comfortable, but I had lingering concerns about the stains on the sheets and pillow cases. We live only 80 miles from Highland, and were visiting with family who grew up there and were there visiting and reminiscing. We thought about just driving back home after our visit, but didn't want to waste the money we paid. Unfortunately, due to these issues, we likely would not stay here again if we were in town.

Overall I would give this establishment a 1 star and definitely not worth the $80 (minus the extra $20 fee). The reservation was placed for one night (Saturday night). They called Wednesday and Thursday to confirm our reservation for Friday through Sunday. We ensured they were aware we would be arriving around 12pm Saturday and still needed the three (3) rooms on the reservation. We arrived at 12:15pm. They tried to charge us an extra $20 for "early check-in", even though they never made us aware of an extra charge the two times they called us prior to our arrival. We booked this hotel due to a wedding nearby. Several other wedding guest checked in to this hotel before and after us and were not charged the extra $20.Arrival - They had no key cards as they were in the process of changing their key card system to a passcode system. We got checked in with the additional $20 charge, which was later refunded, and were informed they would send us a link with the passcode. None of us got the passcode. An employee had to use their employee code to get us into each room. When we asked about getting a passcode so we could come/go from our room we kept being told about that link, that never came.The room - Our room was nasty. Stains on the walls and carpet. A putrid odor, made worse by the ac/heater unit. Hair and scabs on the "clean" bedding. Mold on the box spring. Trash under the beds. If you're in need of a late night snack there is a ton of food under one of the beds. If you're in need of some tape for last minute wrapping there is a roll of tape under the other bed. The employee who let us into the room did change the sheets. She tried telling us the "pubic" hair was "dust"... We showed her the mold and trash under the bed. She didn't seems too worried.Key card - After nearly a hour we got our "pass code". It was suppose to be individual passcode, however, after the employee had to call customer service and got help it was determined our passcode would have to be the same as another guess (not a wedding guest).Overall I would not recommend this hotel. Staff do not seem to know what is going on in their hotel nor are they truly in the business of customer care.

The staff went out of their way to take care of my dog after my car unexpectedly broke down, welcoming us in. While we were there 3 nights, the staff was very friendly and we were provided with a good breakfast. The room was clean, and fresh towels were offered daily. Thank you for making a difficult time easier!Rooms: Rooms were very clean.Walkability: Walkable to nearby shopping center and fast food.

Gross!! Room felt damp and smelled of mildew. Carpet felt wet & cold. Sink dripped the whole time. (A relative told us her sink ran water the whole time.) Bathroom door wouldn’t shut at all. Stains around the room. My husband booked the room in March online. When we checked in they charged his card again. They did refund the money, but they should’ve already known it was paid for. Luckily I don’t see myself needing to stay overnight in highland again. Best of luck!

After looking online I thought this hotel woiod be a good place to stay while in town for work related reason. Thank goodness I only booked 2 nights and not the entire Stat because they make sure they charge you prior, like a Motel would and i imagine it is because they will enot refund any funds if there are issues. The reviews are accurate and ny experience is below.-Room charge is more than their website prices show-DISTGUSTING MOTEL ROOM atmospgere advertised as a NICE HOTEL-Lobby is the only thing clean-Washable dirty grease aspota all over the walls-Nasty Pet Marks/Stains all over the carpet-Dirty/Stained curtains-Room smells like mildew and wet dog covered with an over powering fabuloso scent-Bathroom floor was wet upon entering-Not all outside Side Doors lock, no key card is needed to get inside the building. VERY UNSAFE FEELING-Bathroom sink faucet leaks all over the counter which caused all my items.on counter to get soaking wet-Breakfast was not only underwhelming for the price I paid per night.-ALL the bread was stale.-Handwritten notes all of breakfast Wares.-i went down to eat at 6am when it was opened and looked like they just sat everything out from the day prior as it eas empty.-When checking in I noticed a Piano in the lobby. I told the front desknagen that my daughter plays piano. The receptionist said she could play it if she wanted. Upon playing th piano, some big scarey guy on his phone walked around the corner and didn't say a word to us, he just continued speakig in another language to someone on the phonee, while he displayed anger, frustration and annoyance and shut the piano cover and almost slammed my 14 year old daughters hand in the cover. We tried to let him know thay we were sorry and the receptionist said she could play it, but we wouldnt again. He never ever acknowledged us. We found out he was rhe owner.-The Indoor pool is nasty and looks like it w uld get someone sick. Yes the water is blue but there are trick to make it look that way.So much more that is wrong, just don't wanna keep writing this. Don't stay here, it os a waste of money and gross.

Rented 6 rooms for event. My people said rooms were dirty , smelly , and issues with keys. Had to get reprogrammed 3x. Made reservations put debit card down. Tried to charge my guests and I told them to charge my card. Have used the hotel many years for my event. However I will never use it again since changing from bay mount it’s gone down quickly.

1st I had to pay in advance, which i don't remember doing before. I reserved a room, then decided to stay an extra day and called to make sure i could, spoke to a lady named Emma. The process ended up being weird. Anyway, the bathroom faucet was leaking, the toilet seat was broken. If there were other places around, i would not stay here.

We recently stayed at this hotel. Where to begin. Our door would never open. We had to literally run and tackle it with our shoulder to get it open. The front desk said they were aware. A maintenance man came and it opened just fine for him. The toilet broke. We were able to fix it ourselves as we NEEDED it to flush. The pool was closed with no warning. We had arrived early just to swim. There were several kids in the hotel that would have benefited from the enjoyment of a pool. The kicker is there was a sign that said closed and the door was locked, but Friday afternoon an older lady was in there doing laps. We were only in town for a wedding and will not ever need to be back. I do not recommend. The only positives were the breakfast lady was very sweet and the front desk upon arrival was nice and fast!

Hotel evening staff was friendly & efficient. Check in was seamless. Hotel was clean.Room was clean, just outdated. But for a last minute need for a overnight hotel room while traveling it was great for that.There was a free breakfast, however we did not partake in that.Checkout was quick, friendly and efficient.

It was fine for the night and would stay again. We had to switch rooms once because it smelled like cigarette smoke, but they helped us quickly and got us into a nice room by the elevator. The pool is very warm, but closes at 11 so there is plenty of time to swim after dinner. The hotel is close to many fast food restaurants, gas stations & shopping. Centrally located in town with plenty of parking and a good price. Beds were fine and breakfast was a little sparse, but comparable for what we were paying and was we needed.
