I just bought one of your meat sticks from the moto mart in Ofallon on Lincoln Highway and I have to say, it was the worst tasting beefstick I have ever had. Ever. I've eaten some really questionable things, so it's really bad when I cant even stomach it. I'm not sure if they're selling expired product at moto mart or what, but if this is what these are supposed to taste like, no thanks, I'd rather eat sh.t. No offense.

Took 30 lbs of deer meat in for hot sticks. Took 5 months to get back. Their hot sticks are very good i must admit. But even after they add pork I get less than 20lbs back. 160 dollars. I usually make my own so I know this ratio is way off.

Great market, very professional service, and great venison processing! I drive 2 hrs just to take my deer to have them processed at Korte. The best venison summer sausage I have ever eaten! They are “ old school “meat market w/ old school methods to their processing procedures that we all should appreciate! Coming from a person to whom was a union butcher for 17 + years the folks at Korte have a great business that everybody should patronize. These types of meat markets are slowly evaporating in today’s world of Walmarts and other big chain groceries- Very thankful a market like this still exists somewhat close to where I live. Thanks for your great service and products Korte!

I love korte meat processing! I take deer there every year. They produce a great product! It is worth the 2 hour round trip to get my deer meat processed there! If you have never tried them, DO IT! YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED!

I had the pleasure of having their Jalepeño Cheddar Bratwurst and summer sausage while tailgating at a Notre Dame game with friends who live close to Korte Meats. They are the best Brats and sausage I have ever had. I have tried countless different brands and butchers. Nothing as good as these. Just wish I lived closer so I could get them all the time. I just wished they shipped to Ohio because I would buy all the time.

Ok, Korte has amazing egg rolls and made some delicious jerky with the deer we dropped off. However, we requested no tallow in our ground deer meat and got more tallow in those rolls than the rolls with tallow had. Also, the deer we processed earlier in the season was requested without tallow and every roll had tallow. It was about 80 rolls with tallow. That deer was processed for 79 year old consumer that can't consume fat and he usually relies on that meat throughout the year. Now he has to either trade his meat or go through extra steps to remove the fat. Korte has been great in the past but because of these two errors, we will need to find a new meat processor.

Very professional. Always get high quality meat there. You can buy a quarter or half beef and really save money. Meat bundles, also. No one beats there sausage, hot sticks or brats
