They provide efficient and phenomenal care to my boy Oliver. Oliver is a chihuahua with mitral valve disease. I feel very safe and comfortable, when I have to drop him off for his treatments with them. They are very kind and professional. They keep you updated every step of the way. I can't recommend them enough.

Been taking pets here since Dr. Diesen had his original office, and have alway received the best of care - and it continues to this day. Folks are always timely and compassionate, from the Doctors to all of the staff. They have treated some difficult issues with our various dogs over 20+ years, and given the choice, I would not go anywhere else for vet care: I can't thank them enough for how they have taken care of our little friends, and by extension, us.

Heather was cold this visit. Hmmm well Boo had issues last year that was over her head. She did recommend going to U of I. It helped a lot. And someone shaved scooter real real close to a prior fatty tumor removal that caused festoring of the skin. I reported it. It has to hurt a lot.

Clean office and kind loving staff. It’s like bring your pet to a good friend that happens to work at a veterinary hospital. I love that they spoil your pup with all kinds of goodies and sweet talk, it helps make it a positive experience for everyone. I would recommend them even if you have to drive a bit.

This is a good hospital with a friendly staff. However, I only gave them 2 stars because they handed me a rabies tag for a collar at the end of the visit without telling me it’s an extra charge. My cat doesn’t wear a collar, so I am only going to throw the tag in the trash once we get home.After seeing the bill, they charged me $30 for that tag, and I’m working with a small budget. They should have asked me.I feel like I was scammed out of $30… very frustrating.

I love love love this place. My vet, dr Michelle, is amazing. She owns the animal.hopsital. we have been going there for 10 years, and my parents have for over 15. I've brought many a pet to dr Michelle. She takes.the time we need her to for our pets to get the best care. Dr. Michelle truly cares. She is compassionate and kind. When my parents put down their old dog, dr Michelle switched things around so she could be.the one with my parents, since we all habe the best rapport with her. Not.only.is.dr Michelle amazing, but we have.had.the pleasure of meeting with dr Nissa, and dr heather as well. The entire staff rocks. I have personally had to put two.dogs down as well, and they sent me a compassionate card after both times. When my dog recently got.hit by a car,.nearly died, spent a week in an animal.icu, they called to check on her a couple of.times. when my cat was diagnosed diabetic a couple of months ago .they really worked with me. The vet techs are kind, the receptionists are caring. It's a great place to take your pet or pets.Dr Michelle recently renovated, and now.the place is huge, and ready for all our pets.It is clean, and tidy. Dr Michelle has pets of her own, and she.is a true animal lover.There are two or three friendly cats that live there too. It's a pretty cool place.When dr nissa had to put my old dog down, she teared up (even though it was only.her second time meeting her).I adopted two dogs, and when highland animal hospital was called to give me a review prior to the adoption,.they gabe.me a great one and highly recommended me as a pet mom.My husband and I currently have two dogs, and two cats. They are all rescues, and the staff loves them all. We dont ever plan on having human children, so we love.the way the staff takes care of our fur babies.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Our cat looked like he had an eye infection. Called in the morning, got an appointment early afternoon. Staff friendly, took good care of a scared kitty, had medicine to take home. They called back a couple days later to be sure he was getting better (he was). We've been using them for many years and plan to continue.

We just moved to Highland and was a little apprehensive about a new vet for my 3 dogs. One is a Rottweiler and she can be a little grumpy. All were treated well.

Amazing staff, and doctors. Always forward with answers, good prices, and wanted to help me save money by letting me know about medication rebates for they're heartworm stuff. My dog loves them, and they understand us being overly protective dog parents. I also love the reminder calls for appointments, the price break down print out, and the little report it has about our visit. Helps me keep track.

I have been going there for almost 30 years. I've taken multiple animals there spent plenty of money with them and when my cat got attacked by another cat and had an abscess on its leg They told me it'll be 4 weeks to get him in, I explain that the cat needed immediate attention and they did not care at all. It seems like this is more of a shot clinic than an actual veterinarian clinic.

1 star because 0 isn't an option.This place is very poorly ran. It’s all about money. Just took our two dogs for their yearly exam/shots. Each time we have taken our dogs in the past it has been $60-80 a dog. The assistant talked to us for maybe 3 minutes. Informed us of a heart worm test they recommend yearly but failed to inform us of the price. I was assuming it was included in the $55 exam and said okay.Then each dog was seen by the Dr. for 10 minutes or less. Dr. talks to us for maybe 3 minutes, informed us our dogs have fleas and one is more allergic than the other. Medication was needed for our more allergic dog and we were not informed of the extra charge of $20 with that either. Yet another sales pitch, she tried to sell us flea/heart worm/tick prevention that was $36 A DOSE. I will likely pay for something to keep my dog healthy but the fact that I was not informed of price before hand does not sit well with me.Then, we get to checkout and I take the dogs to the car and my fiancé comes out with a receipt. We were charged $400. $58 dollars for this heart worm test that we were never informed the results of. Nobody verbally told us results and it was not on any of our paperwork. Sickening. Paid $116 for a test without getting official results. Money is no object to these people.I will not be taking my pets here anymore. The assistant was more of a sales person trying to offer all these tests and shots with no mention of additional charges. They take advantage of pet owners knowing the love they have for their animals. They don’t care about your animals; just how much money they can get the owner to spend.

I can't say enough positive things about Highland Animal Hospital. Dr. Michelle is wonderful and explains things thoroughly. Prices are fair compared to others in the area. Highly recommend!

When I was in doubt of getting my Cat Seen For an Emergency I was declined at 3 Other Places Emergencys Were 300 to.350 These Guys made sure my furbaby was seen and in good hands even though I'm Not a existing client!! They treated us Oh so Nicely!! And Even helped me With a payment Plan!! I will ALWAYS recommend them as the service and Concern of my Cat was Phenomenal! THANK YOU so much for helping when no one else would ❤️‍

Doctor Michelle and Heather saved my dogs life when she ripped open her tummy on a fence line in 2018. They were able to fit her in and have emergency surgery. I’m addition, the staff was always so helpful and thorough when explaining issues. We live in Utah now and miss the great care my pets received at Highland Animal Hospital!

NEVER take your Dog there if your baby is sick and needs attention! They turned her away, why? Because they are short staffed? 2nd time this has happened to us! I am never taking my pets back to this uncaring Vet hospital, you should be out of business!

20 minutes on hold before a person can get a euthanasia appointment is way to long.At least they could pick up the phone and say we’re on the other lines, could you please hold.I find it hard to believe that they have a 4.7 rating with that lack of customer service.I’ll gladly call another vet before i have to wait that long.

I was looking for a new vet to take my puppy that wasn’t so “franchise” like. I decided to give Highland Animal Hospital a shot based on their story and great reviews. They haven’t disappointed. His initial appointment went as expected, and they were great. I am writing this review today however, because this morning when I needed to get Winston in for an emergency last minute appointment, they were able to see him the next hour (I called right when they opened at 9 am). They diagnosed the issue, got his medication, and we were on our way home by 11 am. They not only provided Winnie with antibiotics, but also pain medicine after listening to his behavior with me at home earlier this morning. She didn’t have to do that, but it seemed she genuinely cared about him being comfortable. Also very reasonably priced!! I will be switching my other dog over here as well.
