Online ordering is smooth and easy and quick!But store pickup was not good.Person at the store order pickup counter seemed to not like their job. No greeting. No smile. No "thank you" after I received the order. She just handed the bag over and blew me off. Only two others in line after me. No one in line before me.I'll probably then never shop again at a Target location, not when Amazon offers "try before you buy."

I love Target but spend too much money each time I come. I need to start setting a budget for myself before I go shopping. It's so easy to get carried away with all the amazing deals and cute items. Maybe I should try making a shopping list and sticking to it. That way, I can still enjoy my time at Target without breaking the bank.

One actual cashier 12 customers deep. Half the self pay stations don’t work. One disgruntled employee left to manage them. Bunch of teenagers “working” but really just wandering around the store doing nothing. Guess this is shopping. Do better or at least lower the prices. Otherwise I’m out of reasons to shop here

Used in the store pick up for an order which took much too long and effort. If i needed to use store pick up in the future I would definitely use vehicle pick up and wait in my vehicle.

Left a review a few years ago for the Munster Target, I thought going to the highland Target might be better. Nope. So sad that stores are messy, I saw enough employees there that could have gone around to pick things up. I understand businesses are shorthanded, but at least teach your cashiers to be friendly when your assisting a customer. I find it disappointing when I'm checking out that the cashier has such a mad look on their face. I understand you could be having a bad day, but you could at least be friendly when greeting a customer."In a world where you can be anything, be kind."

There is a wide variety of multiple types of products that are well constructed and fairly priced. I appreciate the opportunity to actually see the product, the workmanship, the true color and size. The clerks are friendly and helpful and the store is clean and well maintained.

Service is always terrible, workers always on their phones… also managers is in denial that theirs problems! No care at all! clothes are always messy say their understaffed but obviously being lazy and it’s the first second or third time we have said something

READ THIS!:Avoid this target at all costs if you prefer doing order pick up inside. They just stare at you standing there and would rather do returns than help you. I literally witnessed a lady ask Asset protection to help them with their order pick up that’s hella embarrassing tbh 😂😂😂 Apparently the order pick up line is nonexistent at this target. Save your self the time and headache. Don’t bother going here.

I usually don’t have any problems with this store. It’s very well organized and clean, the staff is friendly, cashiers are usually available depending on the time of day. However, after what I’ve experienced this evening with their new policy of banning exchanges and only doing refunds, I’m rating this store two stars.The guy (manager) with the glasses and dark hair is pretty cool and fair. However, I was not impressed with the young lady, with dark hair in a pony tail with glasses. (I don’t know if she was an assistant or also a manager) who flat out rudely would not honor the same price I paid for my son’s bike. Obviously, there must have been an issue with the bike, because we just purchased it last week, while it was on sale. I felt like with the inconvenience we went through to have to bring this bike back, Target could have been more accommodating. I was so tempted to just accept the refund and go elsewhere to purchase another bike altogether, but I had a pending appointment and my son really needed his bike at the time. I told my son to let me know IMMEDIATELY if he encounters any more problems with this bike. This will be my last time purchasing another bike from Target!I’m updating my review because one of the managers, Jenn called me and rectified the matter. She was also concerned. Thanks so much Jenn!!!

Didn't like the lady with the military cut running the return counter today. Didn't want to honor the price that was on the floor and rude. Not my problem you have it in the wrong place. That's why I got it even lower by price matching it. Should have took it back to her to see her face. Management need to get her more training. Bad enough I had to come back yesterday as well because I was overcharged as well.

I love this Target. Staff is always available and ready to help you at all times. It's easy to find things with the way the store is laid out. It feels like therapy every time I go in and even though the prices are up a bit, I feel good about the quality of whatever I walk out with. I always leave with more than what is on the list I bring. Target has been great thus far, in terms of service and quality of the product. They also have a decent food selection. Everything is perfect here. Highly recommended!

Excellent products, helpful courteous staff, neat & clean & beautiful, nicely decorated restrooms!!!However, the restroom had only 1 dispenser for 4 persons. Also, In this covid climate the sink was very inhygienic because there wasn't enough gap between the floor of the sink & the water faucet. The gap is only 6 inches which is illogical & in-hygenic.Not enough room for the hands to stay hygienic by NOT touching the sink floor. Hands keep touching the sink. I hope Target will replace the sink with hygienic & spacious sink.

I’ve never had a good interaction with the staff here. Disinterested and unhelpful, once they had zero registers open and when I asked they just pointed to self checkout. With a full cart. Also they tend to be out of a lot of things often. Like milk.

Supervisor Jen restored my faith. I had an issue with how a different team member handled a mistake earlier but when I spoke to Jen she completely validated my concern and bad experience, genuinely apologized and went above and beyond to correct it and let me know the store values my business.So thankful for how well she does her job.

Really prompt help with what I was looking for! I didn't have to run around and find an associate to help me in electronics, there was an associate already helping one customer and when he'd finished, he was available to answer my questions and assist me with my purchase. I'll definitely go back to this location with anything. Store was very clean and departments were well-kept up. Great team!

I love this target store better than the crystal lake il . they have items that i like and want and are in stock. The wallets are worth the price and the clothing seems to last for awhile and the store is easy to shop. I am very pleased and happy shopping at this store they will continue to keep me as a shopper ! thanks to the hard workers that keep it stocked and organized !

My experience with assistance from the pharmacy dept. has never been good. My last visit was on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, mid-afternoon. I was looking for a particular item and asked the pharmacist. This particular pharmacist is most unhelpful and has the personality of an artichoke. Without looking up, he mumbled a section to find the item. When I came back to say the item wasn't there, the pharmacy assistant just walked past me and said, over her shoulder, "if it's not there, we don't have it".This is the most unfriendly staff I have ever encountered,

Been happy that Target stayed open and accessible during the pandemic. They have done a great job to keep everything safe and clean, the best they can. Products have been in stock and available. The associates remain friendly and helpful. It appears they are putting more emphasis on the self serve checkout process, which is wonderful unless there is a backup, since the registers staffed by associates are often lacking.

She provided such a quick and easy check out for me through her mobile cart. Not only did she provide great service but she was very polite and made my experience great which I really appreciate. Caleb at the Starbucks register is beyond great at his job. He was so energetic and happy it made me feel the same. When I sat down to do some work I overheard him with other customers and he made each and every one of them feel important and that he cared about making their drink amazing. He’s changing lives one drink at a time!

I haven't been to Target, or shopping, really, since March 12 (right before things started to close down). I was so incredibly impressed with everything Target is doing to keep safe. I was there during a later/off hours time, but it was clear that they are taking precautions seriously, as I noticed X marks on the ground outside, cart sanitizing stations, and all employees and shoppers wearing masks. I am so thankful for all the work the employees at the Highland Park location are doing to keep the store looking incredible. It was well stocked, organized, and neat. Thank you so much!

The lines in the pickup was too long. I asked to manager to get extra help. Instead, the person helping the person in front of me left; You should have curbside if you order online.For an order that was fulfilled way in advance, the wait time was much too long to get the item. Customer service was not adequately staffed

Love the new lay out! It's definitely geared for people to feel like they are in a different store when they shop each section. I enjoy it. I thought the store had good flow. I guess if you were shopping the old layout for a long time it could be confusing.

These people are awesome. Sam has helped me twice - once to recover a lost item and another time to help me find the receipt for a return. The staff make you feel like it’s a personal service and not a huge corporation. Great job!

The people at this Target seem happier than at any other Target. Even when the patrons of Highland Park are yelling at them, for what seems to be like trivial stuff, they still stay smiling. These Target workers deserve way more than we all know given what they deal with.
