Really nice and neatly kept store. I was amazed at the deli, bakery, grab and go options. The staff is very helpful and welcoming. I had to do some tastings here and it was very inviting and friendly environment. The customers were very pleasant and it was just nice to see a friendly rapport between the regulars and the staff.

Amazing bakery! (partial to the Killer Brownies myself 🤩) Very friendly staff. We even had an employee serenade us with a beautiful Broadway song while visiting. Highly recommend!

Busy place 2 days before Passover. We needed help and the lady took us to where we needed to be instead of just pointing or giving an aisle number. She then asked if we needed anything else when she was very busy with a large amount of customers. Great fresh squeezed orange juice. The fresh fish and meats display was very enticing. Service was quick and friendly.

We recently had Sunset cater a party of deli trays, salad, fruit and desert trays. I met with Jorge at the store who was very helpful and accommodating with suggestions and substitutions. The food was delivered on time and extremely fresh. The food, presentation and service were terrific! All for a reasonable cost. I highly recommend Sunset for your next party.

Sunset is wonderful for catering. We especially love their turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy and green bean dinner. Dago is such a gentleman when he delivers, we love him! Their fruit tray is the best I have ever bought. Their catering staff is so helpful on the phone. Thank you Sunset!

Selection and quality are fine. On the expensive side, compared to other local grocery stores. If you're into intensely personal service, it's a fine place. They even have folks that move your groceries from your cart to the register if, for whatever reason, you can't manage it on your own. I just find that a bit creepy, especially when they do it, unprompted. (But that's just me, I suppose.)It's a northshore mainstay. Quality goods at bit of a mark-up.

I love that the store is compact. You don't have to walk a huge layout in order to get what you came for. The people who work there are helpful & will do what they can to meet your needs.

Wide range of diverse product choices, love their fresh produce, and their cooked food is convenient. Try their arancini!!!A bit pricey for a recently out of college couple (my situation), but we support local every time we can. So we go often with a plan 😊Oh, and their customer service? Have not met one person that wasn’t willing to walk me around the whole store to help me find each item on my whole list when they see me wandering, haha.

This is a very nice store. I especially appreciate Cory who has been extremely pleasant and helpful every time I have needed assistance. I feel it's important that businesses have people who can connect with their customers on a more personal level, it gives me a feeling of trust. He is a valuable asset to this store. Other people I have interacted with have also been helpful. I will always return to this store to do business.

Sunset is definitely my favorite place for flowers! Floweral department attendant Louis can take a $12.00 plant or bouquet and turn it into something very special. Whether you spend $10.00 or 50.00, the flowers are always fresh! Please stop in and see Louis he will not disappoint.

I’ve been coming to Sunset since I was small enough to fit in the cart! It’s so rare to still find grocery stores that aren’t corporate. I loved bringing my husband here so he could see what a grocery store should really be like!

Clean store with a nice selection of merchandise, carries things you may not find at larger chains. Thing is, they up-price EVERYTHING based on the idea that they offer wonderful customer service. Which is...only kind of true. I'd rather not pay an extra two bucks for a gallon of milk, so I try to shop at places where I'm not paying for the courtesy of a clerk loading groceries into other people's cars for them.

Staff was super nice, and they have all sorts of fresh produce that is nicely stacked and sorted. And they encourage customers to use reusable bags, so that's always a plus for me! Definitely love this grocery store!

I wanted to come here because they carry some items that are difficult to find in other stores. It's a place that is definitely a bit dated but that's not all bad. I would wish for more organics- for example, I couldn't find any organic fruit at all. On the other hand, they had Nicoise olives that were well priced and very high quality. Also noticed a decent wine section. No self checkout but a manager standing and directing shoppers. So, pros and cons, depending on what you're looking for!

Interesting store that I've not been before to, unlike other places this one always has someone unload and bag your cart for you and if you need help they'll bring it out to your car as well. The prices are a little more expensive than normal stores but you get better service and the lines seem to be much shorter than an average grocery store. The store also offers some non typical items that you might not find at a place like Jewel

The cashier was extremely rude to me. I approached the the register and she doesn’t say anything to me doesn’t even look at me. I say hello and she doesn’t say anything. What’s she’s finished scanning my items she doesn’t let me know that I can pay now. I asked her if she’s ready for me to pay and she says nothing at all and just looks at the register and nods. I tell her thank you when I leave and this time I would appreciate a response and she doesn’t look at me and is about to turn around to continue talking to other cashiers and I say thank louder and she looks me in my eye and nods her head like I should be thankful that she’s even checking my items out. And right when I walk away she turns her back and continues talking and distracting other cashiers… there was other people coming to check out in the other cashiers line. The lady that talked to me was the lady bagging my things. This cashier was a older lady about early 50s named Rachel. And I have no idea why she was so rude to me, maybe it’s because I young or maybe it’s because I’m a person of color but in a place of work no customer deserves to be treated with disrespect and no worker and I was more then respectful. Workers are a reflection on the work place and the brand and I will not shop at this sunset food or maybe any sunset foods because of this Rachel in her early 50s that decided to be disrespectful to a customer. The only reason I’m leaving a 2 star review instead of a 1 is because customer service was so nice to me over the phone. Again over the phone who knows what would have happened if I went in person.

Love the service. Was standing in line and they quickly opened a new register AND made sure the next person in line was taken first. Unlike some places where they open a line and it is a free for all with the last person in line running to get ahead of everyone.

Selection is better for some things than others, so your mileage may vary.Both dairy and produce seem to consistently be of worse quality/go bad sooner. I tried to dismiss it for some time, but after enough vegetables tossed and milk poured down the drain, I feel like I have to conclude there is something wrong with how they handle/store/maintain their dairy and produce.
