I had a terrific experience at PETCO Highland Park because of the staff. They really go out of their way to answer all questions. It was fairly busy when I was there a few days ago, but both employees were great at multi-tasking and answering questions even when handling customers. They both knew the inventory very well and took time to show me how to use a cat harness and clothing used with the item. They made my day ❤️. Ginny

I showed the groomers photos of specific haircut that they had given my dog prior and asked them to recreate it. I asked for a teddy bear cut with short ears. My dog came home with long fur, the hair around the snout trimmed, and long ears. The groomer confirmed that they could do this type of cut as well. I am so confused and disappointed.

The in store prices are almost double what is listed on the petco website. I was charged $24 for something listed as $13 online and $11 for something listed as $7. When I went back to return the items the employee stated that I could price match the items. Price match your own website? She did refund me the difference, and her service was fine. It feels like a scammy business model targeting people who are less likely to order online, like the elderly.They also said they didn't have a restroom open to the public. Dogs can pee on the floor but paying customers can't pee in your toilet?Stefan was very helpful while I was shopping and when I called back about the prices.

It is a slower paced store so I was able to take my shy dog without running into anyone! I spoke to the dog groomer Andres and he was very nice and helpful!

I go to Petco every week and the staff are great! The manager is always polite and not pushy but educates…I go to Highland Park location. I’m not easily satisfied but over all this place is a gift.

Great selection of tanks!! I just picked up a 75 gallon fish tank today and the process was easy and quick. I was helped out by a very nice employee named Oscar. Oscar if you're reading this thanks so much man, you're awesome!

I came about 15 minutes before closing , and I was very upset because they shut off all the lights ! I understand it was close to closing time but that is very unprofessional while I am actively looking in the store for someone to shut the lights off . I felt rushed and a total inconvenience. I had never been to that location before and I am not impressed after dealing with that! Ive never used the machine to make a dog tag and I was obviously struggling I was not asked for help and the cashier couldn’t even circle the code on the receipt so I knew was I was looking for and what to type in. I am very upset even days later about my experience.

Best place in the state of Illinois for all your pet needs. Huge selection of great foods and all your pets' needs. The General Manager is always helpful and the entire staff follows his leadership. The grooming staff can't be beat. They should get an award for their skills and service. Definitely two paws up!!!🐶🐩🐶

The pet services are great. We take our dog here for nail clippings - it's cheap and effective. Otherwise, the store is about average for a big-box pet store. They have a great selection, and the staff is generally helpful, but prices can be a bit higher than online. But, if you're looking for something, they'll definitely have it.

I went in today to get some supplies for my pet rats and an employee named William rang me up. He is extremely knowledgeable about all kinds of animals. I heard William talking to other customers about their products, and he gave them really good advice about the kinds of foods, and toys their animal needs. The store has great customer service overall, and the store was clean as well.

Actually was a great experience I was pleasantly surprised they were definitely experts in what works to take care issues with dogs and the store had a great selection of stuff I didn't know existed for pets. Just starting to take care of an older dog had no reason to go into a pet store before. Cbd for pets with an entire line of products was also a surprise. Again I was surprised on the professionalism and quality of the staff.

On entering the salesperson at the cashiers desk asked if she could help me. I didn't know where the Temptation seafood flavor of hard nuggets were located and she immediately got up to help me find them. Unfortunately, there were none left on the shelf, but she offered the smaller container of Blue Bursts of the same flavor. That was an excellent alternative that I wouldn't have realized. I paid and left the store in a few minutes due to her excellent assistance.

The grooming staff are phenomenal with dogs. We have a pit-something-or-other-rescue and literally everyone is sweet to her from the door to the bath to the register. Genuinely nice staff.

the people at Petco are always friendly and helpful. I like the idea that I can see and touch what I'm buying before I buy it. It's hard to decide if a dog bed is the right size while looking online. Also, I love that they have groomers there. I use the grooming services every other month. Reasonably priced and dog-loving groomers.

We have been been bringing our two dogs here for grooming for awhile. Eva is a fantastic and caring groomer. Our collie and husky have lots of fur, and Eva keeps them looking and smelling great. Thank you so much!
