I like this walmart its small a little tight in some spots for two carts passing by each other, nice variety and assortment of items considering its size. What really make this walmart the is the staff. Definitely the nicest and most helpful employees and management at a walmart within a 75 mile radius!!!!!!

Dear Walmart Team in Herrin,I do not say this to be mean or cruel but how is your store so bad? Things I can find in any WalMart in America can not be found here. Perhaps it is only because I rely so heavily on delivery but I simply can not find anything at your store. It is crazy. I am forced to do pick up in Marion because of it. If it an item or two I wouldn't be that bothered but it is almost everything I look for. Clear American Sparking Water almost no choice selection. Yoplait Yogurt like 2 flavors. Seriously never have I ever seen such horrendous selection. I am new to this area so maybe I am missing something but the Herrin store has forced me to either get pick up Marion or delivery from Krogers. The only thing that has changed since my review is that my deliveries come from the Marion store now lol.

Just about had enough of Walmart Pharmacy policy. Legal action may follow this.My 88 year old mother was released from hospital and Walmart wouldn't take her ID. She's obviously unable to come in and talk if she's at home in bed.Your decision to not fill her meds sent her back to hospital unable to breathe...Ridiculous decision!

Great Place to go too get deals in their clearance Isle. Not best for food and drink, but has a good Automotive selection. Also Outdoor Aisles are pretty solid

Well let me tell ya a story ol jojo bends over to get peanut butter off bottom shelf, backs up one step not thinkin and hits other shelves behind him with his big ol butt the aisles r way to small at our Herrin Walmart. And here lately like everywhere prices have gone to high for what little service they provide, dont get me wrong its not the employees fault , its those money hungry corporate kids that inherited it. At the super store in marion il., if u do ur weekly or monthly shoppin after 8 no matter how much you have in your basket theres no cashier you not only bag your own groceries n supplies but act as the cashier they no longer pay after 8 and everybody just goes oh ok what can we really do about it i guess we will just have to bend over in Herrins. Il. isles and let shelves get personal with you.

This was the smallest Walmart that I have been, but bigger doesn't mean better. We stopped for a new hitch to pull our trailer, and to my surprise, they had exactly what we needed! The staff is very kind and helpful.

I walked in, there was a much much older gentleman in an upset state needing help to cross the very busy hwy 148. I spoke with the front desk and let them know and was told they were not allowed to help him. I helped him, I hope they never need assistance when they are older.

The smallest Walmart I've ever been to, which isn't a problem by itself. However, the aisles are cramped together and there are no electric carts, which makes it difficult for someone like me with mobility issues. Otherwise, it was clean and the staff was friendly. Then please hear or some b*******they treat you like a thief they follow you around a hover over you while you're trying to send out and even if you're good paying customer you will still be treated like this every time you go and they will judge you by the appearance you have when complain to the manager the manager blows you off when you call corporate on this store nothing is done all the employees there are some real white trash think they're better than everybody they don't help you so my review is pet store should be closed down or issue should have new employees brought in

Newly remodeled at Herrin Illinois. Easier to get around isles are a bit wider now. Arranged in a better way. This was a smaller store to begin with but the grocery section has better labeling above the Isles. Mostly self-check out. They have 2 checkouts with a checker only.

Walmart in Marion is your bet bet among the Walmarts in the area. I avoid the Carbondale store all together because of the loud, rude, and nasty people that shop there. As a matter of fact I and many others avoid Carbondale as much as possible due to the same issues. It is sad that a once nice area has devolved into a place where decent people fear to go.

The employees are usually very nice, the store is kept clean, & it's convenient to be able to get (most) things I need from one location. Took 2 stars off because of the lack of sale/clearance items & items being out of stock when I need them. Some items that used to go on sale, are never on sale anymore & certain departments (yarn, fishing, electronics...) are often bare. Very disappointing & hoping the store stocks up soon.

Only thing negative is the check outs. If I wanted to ring myself up and bag my own things, I would still work for them! It has all been remodeled, caused a lot of confusion but it does flow a so much better once you learn it.

Didn't even offer fresh fruit of any kind. Very small. Had 100.00 worth of items and had to be my own cashier with no place to put anything. If you were picking up 1 or 2 items might be ok. I'm never going back

Sam Walton would be ashamed of the company that walmart has become. America first was his policy, now it America last. Not to mention seeing how few employees they can pay to keep a store running.

I had a worker follow me in the store with his vest on cussing and calling me names over a parking spot. I felt threatened, I was triggered and shaking. When I finally reached tje greeter he did nothing to get the worker away from me. Management was not called I had to go find them and the problem went unsolved. I was scared to walk out to.my vehicle. Very svary!
