Well for starters the pharmacy technicians and everybody in the department are incredibly rude. The orders say they're done but they never are. Recently I called ahead and they told me they would be ready after 2pm. I showed up at 3:30 and sat in line for 30 minutes. Then the lady told me my prescription was printed but not ready. Then told me to get back in line. I had my 2 babies with me so I said no and I would wait right there and they can fill them now. She then told me she was going to escort me. So you have time to escort me but not fill my prescription? Funny how that works. I told her to lose her attitude then another employee told me she was going to call the cops. So long story short, THEY SUCK!!! Do not waste your time like I did. This isn't the first incident so good luck if it's the closest store.

The pharmacy is absolutely horrible waited 2 hours to get meds and the lady in the drive thru was very very rude!! If you want to get meds filled I would advise going some place else!

I've used this location for several years normally no issue but as for the past several months I've dealt with poorly trained worrker with no costumer service skills. My my prescriptions are taking over 24 hours to fill. I normally don't leave reviews because it usually is not that deep but what is really going on when prescriptions are called in for dame day and they aren't available even 6 hours later. If I could rate negative stars I would.

I wouldn’t normally go out of my way to leave a negative review but last night I was in line for my prescription for 20 minutes. I guess the pharmacy is on shortened hours, so at 6 PM they shut the window and left the 4 of us left in line to go home without our meds. I’ve already been in line for 20 minutes tonight and we have 20 minutes to close and I’m concerned I won’t make it to the window. I’m lucky enough my medications aren’t life saving or necessary, I’m just inconvenienced without them, but I worry that this tactic might be affecting people who do take critical medications. I know sometimes it’s not possible to serve every last customer before closing, but to just abruptly shutter everything with just a few people left in line was a little surprising.

This is by far the worst Walgreens I have ever been in. Any time there is medicine to pick up they don't have it and also don't tell you when you drop off. They also take extremely long times to fill orders. I can go to any other Walgreens and get the orders done way faster. I went in today to pick up medicine for the wife who just got out of surgery and was told they would start the order. I sat down and 40 minutes later I went up and asked and she said they just got the order. I told her that was a lie and that I dropped it off 40 minutes ago. Terrible customer service skills and communication skills. I will be going to the town next to is from now on.

The people are always nice and courteous but aside from that I do not have anything nice to say about this location. There has not been a single month where I did not have some kind of problem at this place. It is always some excuse too. Our pharmacist called in sick, our computers are down, you don't have any insurance (when I do, and literally used it at this location days prior) It's often a combo of many excuses.Even if you live in Herrin, You're Better off going to the Marion location. It is further, but still a shorter distance than having to drive to the Herrin location four times to get one prescription.PS: and this is with the automated system telling me it's ready to pick up each time too, so someone clearly isn't trained on how to use it on the pharmacy end.

This is the worst walgreens pharmacy that I have ever used. They never have mine and my wife's medications ready when it says it will be and then ask if we will come back in an hour. We do not live in the town. That is the whole reason for their scheduled pick up times. To make it even worse the workers are never kind or polite. It has become a known problem in the community with not just myself but others as well. It is to the point that people are leaving walgreens and taking their business elsewhere. I am considering this myself because this has become an out of hand problem that does not appear to be getting fixed anytime soon.

If I could leave zero stars I would've. I asked if they carried a medicine the girl could not speak any English and says oh I can't say I said I'll let this dr know and to make sure his workers know to tell everyone never use Walgreens in Herrin. I have contacted higher ups and let them know about her ignorant comments and not answering questions 😤😤😡🤬🤬🤬

Went for a COVID test...got there on time and waited my turn in the drive thru...made it to the window, gave my name...the lady left the window and I waited 15 mins...a guy came and I was told to drive around the building and get back in line so they could help the people behind me...waited another 15 mins in line and got back to the window...took the test and it was suppose to be the 2 hr rapid test, but they told me I would have my results in 24 hrs...49 hrs later and I've still not got any results..had to inturn go to a clinic today and have another test done ...very unprofessional and incompetent ...I will not be using Walgreens again for any business...

I am a long term user of the Walgreens Pharmacy in Herrin, IL, and my service (no matter how busy they are on any given day) has always been exceptional. The staff running the pharmacy are all helpful, willing to go an extra mile to help you get what you need, and all around decent humans. I have to have a few medications on a monthly basis (and I usually wind up going once or twice a month) and I trust them to help me with what I need!

The pharamicists are very rude. One lady in particular had a very rude and annoyed tone with me because she didn’t have my prescription ready even though I politely asked for it. They never have prescriptions ready even if it has been called in awhile before. Going here always puts me in a bad mood if I am going to get a prescription. But, the rest of the staff there are very nice.

Needing a covid-19 test done and been told have to make a appointment online just to be seen that might take more than two weeks that have done I think this is very wrong and a disgrace because if I have to wait 2 weeks to have a covid-19 test done I will be over that covid-19 if I had it before even having a stupid test done this is wrong and all kinds of notes and very rude Walgreens staff members and very hard to talk to an actual person when it's a stupid computer need to do better unsatisfied with the services of staff at this Walgreens location in herrin Illinois

So many times Herrin Walgreens leaves out a prescription. My husband usually picks up and doesn’t realize that they left one out. I live in a different town so it means another trip to pick up. They should have to deliver it for free when it’s their mistake!!

Very convenient location and well stocked. Just wish it was a 24 hour Walgreens like many others are. Pharmacist had probs w my new prescriptions but she figured it all out after a few minutes.

This is horrible. I am currently in line third from the window and I have been waiting in line for over 45 mins. We will not be back, We have been with Walgreens for over a year and it's only getting worse.

The store always looks very clean and well organized. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Love the photo lab...beautiful pictures and products. Pharmacy is always extremely busy but very efficient.
