I really wanted to shop here for my chicken feed but was greeted with the rudest older person I've met in a long time. I've been researching for months about diet needs and what not to use, etc. I have previous experience with chickens, I have taken information from hundreds of different personal experiences in order to make decisions for my own animals. I don't support Purina, so I'm looking for anything else instead. I have a certain mix in mind and needed to know prices for the coming months when I buy it. I will not bother with here anymore. What an awful experience.

The family that runs this feed store are all friendly and great customer service. We have been customers for years. They will load feed into your vehicle for you, which beats dragging & loading through other larger feed stores. They have ordered in special Alpaca feed for my 6 alpacas & keep what I need in stock for reasonable prices. They always care and have a local feel to their business. You are always treated with with fabulous customer service.

I have bought feed here for over a year and am a devoted customer. When we started with pigs last year, the owner offered to mix feed for us. He changes the percentages as the pigs grow. Friendly people who make you feel like an old family friend each time you come.

Called to inquire about Purina product " Nutrina Green", I had been obtaining at another Purina retailer until moving to Hurst. The person answering the phone never told me who he was, instead he went off on a rant about getting stuck with feed ordered for pigeons in the past. The man was overly excited, extremely rude and unprofessional.

This place is a mom and pop place that has been in this location for as long as I came remember(and that's a long time! Lol) Nice people that go that extra step to please you ! Owner always put feed in your auto for you; never expects anything for it ! ☺
