I absolutely love this pet store, I can always count on them having the right dog food in stock at a pretty decent price. They make the best cakes for your dog's birthday, gotcha day, or any other special day.... I've been ordering personalized cakes for my Frenchie for 5 years now, and they always do an amazing job at baking/decorating her cakes for me!! They also have a great variety of dog food, treats, and toys here too!!

The absolute best! My two corgis love their weekly visit to the barkery for some yummy cookies. The staff is all incredibly friendly and patient with my youngest who is a major talker. The overall environment is so welcoming, I can't say enough good things about this place.

I moved out if town a few years ago and to my surprise when I moved back with my pup Reese's was here. The staff is incredible and they helped me find a food that my extremely picky dog actually likes, and it's good for him. They understand that our pets are out babies, part of the family, so it's important to make sure they're taken care of. They also have amazing deals all the time and I love their guarantees on food. If your pet doesn't like a new food they will let you return it. I'll be a customer for life

Overall its a great place, lots of awesome toys and treats to pick from. I emailed them on Sunday to order my pup her 1st bday cookie, slightly clueless Ive never ordered for a pet before. I was asked promptly what I wanted for her and gave the details. She said it would be ready by Wednesday at the time I chose(2pm). Wednesday got here and I called to see if I could pick it up at 12 pm instead. They didnt see my order form so he made a new one saying itll be ready at 12. Awesome! When I got there, he said he was expecting a paper order form not an email. Thats fine. However when I got home, a 30 minute drive, I looked at it and it definitely looks like a rush job. My 10yr old could have done better. For $16 it could have looked a little nicer like on their website. Im sure she will enjoy it anways, a little disappointed in presentation.

I have always gone here for my cats and when I got a dog, I was sure I’d like to continue! It’s my dog’s Gotcha Day on Tuesday and we had a little get together with some friends and dog friends. We got the medium heart cake from the barkery and they iced it with his favorite colors. They wrote “Happy Gotcha Day” on it and all of the dogs loved it! Not only that, but they have great deals, friendly and knowledgeable employees, (Matt you rock) (everyone else too though) and great products that I love giving all of my animals at home. I’m so happy McHenry has Reese’s Barkery & Pawtique to provide quality pet services to the area. I’m never going anywhere else for my pets!

Great local shop with awesome service. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They carry only the best products for your 4 legged friends. Our girls loved their Birthday cakes from there. I recommend checking this store out. Your dogs will love their treats.

My boys loved their treats! I discovered this place when I stopped at the bakery near by, and decided to check it out. I was surprised at the treats, toys, food and gear they carry for our furry friends. The staff was excellent and very helpful. The prices are fair and reasonable. I was recently introduced to Reese's Barkery. I am thoroughly impressed with every employee whom I have had the pleasure of dealing with in regard to my newly adopted dog. They are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The store is organized and quaint. This establishment is a must if you want to pamper your canine.

Stopped by for my first time today and what a great experience. I've spoken with Diedra and Matt and both have been so full of information! I have 3 dogs, each with their own allergies, quirks, needs & wants. Matt took lots of time today to go over foods, treats, supplements, etc with me - he was so kind, patient and knowledgeable! At no point did I think I was being 'sold' and I was shocked at the pricing. I can spend the same (Or LESS) to shop locally & support small business ; what a great experience and convenience!!

My go to place for my two boys! Everyone is always so friendly and knowledgeable. They even do free delivery (as long as its a reasonable distance) Cant say enough good things about the owners and staff. HIGHLY recommend checking them out.

The CEO of PetSmart doesn't need another vacation home and don't get me started on Jeff Bezos. I'm glad to support this family. The kids work there to help support the family and the proceeds go to school books, food and clothing they deserve our patronage. It's good for downtown McHenry too. (There's also a really good bakery and a plant shop next door.) The Barkery carries high quality dog foods, toys and other products at fair prices. I'll be back.

We ordered a cake with chicken and bacon for our dogs birthday, the person I spoke with (wish I got his name) was outstanding, he explained everything that could be done. My dogs loved the cake! I am very excited for them! They are such friendly people and so helpful. I've never given either of our dogs treats from any place other than mini milk bones. I grabbed two small samples today for them, guess I will be coming in again to get special treats for them. Thank you to the efficient girls at the register working together, I was impressed! Oh my goodness!! I found the best store ever for your babies!!! They are so helpful with food selection for the foods that are better than purchasing at a regular grocery store! This store is absolutely adorable, and I couldn’t have asked for any better customer service!!! If I could give them 10 Stars, I would!!!! Also, it’s nice to shop local! Check out this store for your pets!! They even have Birthday cakes for your babies!!!! I am beyond impressed!

Was able to pickup a pre-made cake same day. They did custom lettering in an hour for our dog's 16th birthday. Owner very nice, said they were the new owners since November. Also bought 2lbs of soft dog treats which were reasonably priced and the perfect size for my small dogs.

Mom and Pop type pet store with a large selection of specialty dog food. They have an assortment of toys, supplies and treats. Great selection of bully sticks and chews. Glass bakery case with a large selection of homemade, natural dog cookies at a very reasonable price.

Visited today and the shop was very welcoming. Found so many awesome things for my dog. Prices were very reasonable. The owner was very personable and friendly. Will definitely stop shopping at my usual places and will go here from now on. Can't believe I haven't stopped here before!!

Great selection and the woman who helped me was very nice and knowledgeable. The only down side is it is way too cramped for me. It was hard to find anything because there's barely enough room for you to walk through the "aisles" to look at product. Maybe 2 feet of space between them. Every wall is filled with product. Was just too much for my liking. 😬
