Horacio is less than 6 months old, but already loves his trips to Claws N Paws. He came back from his first bath with his coat as shiny as ever and a sweet subtle scent that I really enjoyed. Staff is efficient and caring with the puppies. I’m a regular already and would really recommend their service.

My dogs appt was at 11, he wasn’t done until 2 which means he put sat in a cage.It was his first time there. When I brought him home he bled all over our carpet, couch and me. His back paw nail cracked and short, bled a lot.He smelled like he was dried off with a dirty towel too!

I absolutely love this place. They are so kind and great with my anxiety ridden puppers! They do a fantastic job on her grooming and nails and I know she is in good hands! I love the little bandana she gets too everytime, such a nice little touch ❤️

Very nice staff. Was able to accommodate my 14 year old (next month) 85 lb dog for full grooming on short notice. They did an amazing job with his 3 layers of hair. Very reasonably price. Only pitfall (which is 100% out of their control) is the front stairs for an elderly large dog.They groom cats too, Lincoln and Lisle are next. (Shhh, don't tell them)ThanksHeide & Luke

They are great with the animals. They have the patience with all pets that come in, I have had 3 cats, 2 dogs, and 2 bearded dragon lizard 🦎. With all of them, this one lady has clipped their nails for the last 2-3 yrs. She's fantastic. She loves the animals and shows calmness and patience for / to them.

I hate to leave a negative review, but today has really rubbed me the wrong way. My husband has not felt good about this place since we started coming here a few months ago, and this confirms we will no longer be coming backFirst off, every time we've come here the staff just seems unhappy or annoyed, no friendly greeting and just sort of stale. They couldn't find my dog's card in their file, so they quickly wrote up a new one - no huge deal. My husband went to pick our dog up today and let me know that her leash that I literally bought one week ago, to this day, has been completely chewed through and destroyed. My dog is around a leash a lot. She does not sit there and chew on her leash. I am confused and concerned how she was left alone for long enough to completely chew through her new durable leash? I called them to ask if they'd kindly compensate for a new leash and they let me know that it's not their problem and this is not on them. They also made a point to say I did not have it written on her card that she chews leashes. She does not normally chew leashes, and I didn't know this is something that would have to be noted. They said they left her in a kennel and her leash was inside, and then they found her chewing on it. Why are you putting a dog in the kennel with their leash tossed inside? Why was she left alone long enough and felt the need to chew through this thick leash? I'm upset that I'm left having to pay for another new leash when this was not my doing, nor should have ever happened or been set up with way, along with the fact that she was neglected for long enough for this to happen. Big safety issue. We will not be coming back.

These guys always do a wonderful job and have always been very flexible with me. Their prices are MUCH better than when I used to take my dog to petco, and they anyways do their best to get my pup in when my schedule is wacky. 10/10 would recommend

I have rarely been this impressed with a local business!!! I recently adopted a rescue dog that needed a good "scrubbing", ears cleaned and nails clipped. I called and had a return call and appointment in less than 24 hours. Turner is only 9 months old, but he's big and a handful with his puppy attitude.The moment we walked in the door Turner's tail didn't stop wagging. The staff was welcoming and professional, and Turner showed no signs of separation anxiety, which he has before. 2 hours later I picked him up and he looked great. Everything was done, better than I had hoped for, and at a very reasonable price. Will definitely be a repeat customer, along with a couple of my neighbors I informed of this place.

Staff was very friendly and wonderful with my dog. The business itself was very clean and well maintained, which I feel like is very rare withmost grooming facilities. Extremely reasonably priced and did a great job grooming my dog (posted 2 photos of my black German Shepherd for reference). He’d never been to a groomer before and was in desperate need of a nail trim, ear cleaning, and a good washing and brushing. They definitely exceeded my expectations. His nails are the perfect length, ears are spotless, and coat is free of chunks of hair. He looks very shiny and smells wonderful. We’ve honestly never seen him look so good lol. He also left an adorable little bandana. We will definitely be coming back for regular cleanings :)

Excellent work from these ladies. We have a Miniature Schnauzer and they're able to nail the cut *perfectly*. The price is just right, the staff is friendly and personable, and there is a beautiful air of both professionalism and confidence the moment you walk through the door.We've gone to a lot of different places for our dog in the past, and I'm glad to finally say the the search is over! I take my dog Beverly here sometimes when my own attempt at grooming my dog fails. I love this place so much. My dog is very high energy and a lot of groomers have a hard time with her nails. Claws and paws does a great job with her. The price is unbeatable and many of the ladies who work there were there when I had my childhood dog who passed away many moons ago. Every time I pick up Beverly she looks excited, clean, and cute with a new bandana! Can’t really recommend a better place in McHenry.

These ladies are AMAZING! We recently moved to the area and were recommended Claws-N-Paws - I am so glad we came here with our Corgi Delilah. She is extremely fussy and dramatic about nail trims but both of the gals who looked after her each time we have come were fantastic. They are so caring and patient. Plus extremely easy to schedule with, I would recommend this business to anyone.

Our dogs always come back stunning. Great prices. Stacey and the staff are caring and know our dogs well. They offer free walk-in nail trims. Closed on Mondays. So call and make appointment at least one day ahead. Going to them for years since we like to support small business owners in our community.
