Great store. Bought some work boots there made in the USA all leather. They have cloths and all kinds of things. I didn't look around too much, but the store was clean, and the cashier was so sweet. So check it out for well-made products.

If someone could put less butter/oil in the popcorn that'd be great. It'll really choke you. It's not supposed to be alllll yellow. It should be mixed white and yellow. Grease logged.We love rural king but every time items have a sale sign on them you go to check out and find out it's not really on sale. Not sure what's up with that. It happens too frequently.

An absolutely retarded place.Average staff member couldn't find their way out of a closet without a crayon colored road map.They always send the most morbidly obese employees to waddle outside and risk heart attack to fetch the carts. No sympathy for donut lovers.They'll let you pay for outside yard items that they're too stupid to realize they don't actually have in stock. Like turnstiles, fencing, and also metal barrels without any lids.Because lids, is stuuupid.The place always smells funny. Maybe that has something to do with all the poop from the bin full of baby chickens.And I hope you're not broke enough, that you need to return a 5 dollar item. Because ALL returns require a driver's license to be scanned into their system. So, enjoy identity theft, right along with your five bucks. Possibly having someone else trashing your credit, good reputation, or commit a crime in your name.---Fun stuff.But don't worry... I'm sure the cynical Judge who's heard a million lies will believe you when you cry innocence. And it's more than likely. Because I doubt the slack-jawed Einstein club over there has the best anti-hacking mechanisms within their wired system.Maybe the wires are clogged up with all the baby chicken poop.

So typically, I visit my nearest Rural King in the n xt town over usually looking to get the cheapest spray paint around because I'm always working on a project or their hefty sized battery packages for a low price, and occasionally I'll just go to wander around wishing I was rich so I could buy 1 of everything. It never fails if it's either the meant-to-be-quick-trip or the time killer visit I always get stuck. Last visit I tried to decide what was my favorite aisle.. impossible! Every aisle in the store had something that captivated my attention and held on strong for a nudge at being the winning aisle for my personal fav. It's really unfair that I wasn't born into a disgustingly rich family with money to burn so I could rescue it from the flames and take it to Rural King to get that mini chainsaw I so desire because the Stihl is really to much for me. ....or the 2500 lumen flash light so I can see for a mile off my back step or a medium sized collection of hummingbird feeders to hang from every twig of my dogwood so I can watch them swarm around and buzz past me. Endless cans of wasp spray and a few dozen bags of saltwater taffy never hurt anyone either ....but Ill keep wishing and Rural King, yall keep the popcorn warm and the animals happy, as you always do!

Visited your nice store and could not get anyone to help me in spite of asking an employee in the cashier area if you could tell me if you still had dog food on sale. Tell me he didn't have any idea and turn this back on me. I helped open this store some years ago and was trained to not only make sure the customers question was answered but if necessary go back with him to find what he was looking for.I don't think those days are gone but if I was hiring people I would put them through the wringer to make sure they had a the right attitude. We even had to make sure everyone was pushing a shopping cart,if possible because they would end up buying more.Having just gotten back from the hospital with my wife, who had been ill, I was not happy. I walked into your office and asked for the manager and she's very nicely took me under her wing and went with me to see that I got what I was looking for.So this review is really about her and her excellence. She has her work cut out for her but I believe she is the right person for the job. Please make sure she is taken care of and supported by all of you. And get an electric helicopter if they have such a thing so the employees will not panic when you drop out of the sky. Back in those days when I was working there, I was told to radio to let the people inside know that you were on your way. I decided to have some fun and called them when I saw a helicopter that was clearly heading for the hospital. The devil made me do it.

Was able to take my dog in the store. It was her first time and it was a great first visit. The cashier's and the shift manager came and gave her the attention she loves to get. It was like we weren't strangers. This store has always had a very down home vibe. Especially the cashier's very friendly service. Always been able to get someone to help if I couldn't find it myself. Kids always love seeing the rabbits and all the various feathered chic's.

Rural king in Harrisburg leaves me on hold for darn near 20 minutes, and then when I arrive at the store, with two customers in the parking lot, I'm still on hold I don't even get an apology. God forbid someone calls your store asking for something. I know it's such a tasking event.

Their prices are extremely good for the majority of everything but I definitely wouldn’t suggest buying any type of food from there. Accidentally bought 2 expired food products from there yesterday.

Good Rural King store. It usually has clean aisles and has a nice gun barn. The only drawback is that on occasion, there are not enough cashiers. Nice store for farm supplies or 2A needs.

Always courteous and helpful staff. I can usually find what I need, or ask a worker if I can't find it. Most seem very knowledgeable about their departments. The pricing is descent. Love their sales! You can get free popcorn when you walk in the door. You can bring a leashed pet. Did you know they have seasonal sales before most other retail stores? It really comes in handy! You can buy feed for almost any animal there.. Usually in bulk/large sizes (small regular sizes also available--but I like bulk. Some animals, usually duck and chicken varieties, and rabbits/bunnies are also sold here. Along with whatever you need for them.

Disappointed in this company right now. Much of the products are either not priced or priced incorrectly. The restrooms are severely outdated and badly maintained. Alot of leaks and very smelly. I do believe it is time to invest in your buildings and return to customer service. Also some training and assigned departments for employees. Miss the days when you could always find knowledgeable help when needed.

Most staff are rude and don't even know what a "mini" pig is thought we were asking if they sold many pigs to eat I guess whenever asked if they had any mini pig food since the cashier's respons was to give us a dirty look and say no we sell rabbits, ducks, chickens and turkeys not pigs. Then whenever corrected again that we were looking for food for a mini pig couldn't grasp mini pigs don't eat feeder pig food

We had some misinformation about today's straw hunt & arrived after it was over. David, the store manager, and Lester and a really nice black lady saved the day & helped my daughter get the quarters and candy that were left in the straw. They went out of their way & I appreciate it!

Very clean and well organized, unlike the Marion store. You can actually walk down each aisle without having to dodge boxes and other miscellaneous items. So neat and clean. Love shopping here!

The staff could be a little more attentive to the customers sometimes. When having difficulty finding a particular item, you may also find it a bit difficult to find an employee available to help you. But when the help does arrive it is always outstanding service. They are not the cheapest but I still go there often because of the convenient location and plus my dog loves to come with and get treats. It is awesome to have a pet friendly retail store like them. My dog loves going to rural king.

Rarely shop here anymore. I hate how they house (small cages) and sell rabbits for meat or for novelty (doesn't matter as long as they get their money). This is why so many rabbits end up being turned loose to fend for themselves and perish. They add to the problem.The music choice they play is also enough to drive someone out. I don't know how the employees manage to hear that music all day. They do have a big employee turn over. Rumor is they don't treat employees very well, which also bothers me a great deal. A pleasant atmosphere starts with staff with good morale. It doesn't show there.Tractor supply to me is so much nicer and I'm glad I have the choice to shop there for my livestock feed instead.

They have a great, and huge collection of fresh spring/summer flowers. So if you like to garden I'd come here. They also have lots of fresh herbs, and fruits/veggies to plant. Plus the employees are always very polite, and helpful.
