No matter their responses this hotel is absolutely garbage! We were just here over last weekend! I booked our room in advance for a King size Non-Smoking room!They gave us a smoking Double Queen! They gave our room to someone else! Also our family booked the handicap room for my mother who needs it! Once again they GAVE it to someone else!The heaters in the rooms didn’t work! The carpets all all torn up and are a filth! No discounts or anything! They are doing everything they can to collect your $ and do nothing but give your rooms to others! Don’t stay at this flea bag! It’s worse than any other hotels within a 30-40 mile radius and for the price! You can get much better for your money!STAY AWAY FROM THESE OWNERS!!

I see plenty of apologies but no improvement. This place is disgusting and should reimburse me for my one night stay of 130.00. This gives the other Quality Inns a bad reputation for dirty rooms. The curtains were ripped,the mattress stained, tub dirty, headboard dirty...everything was dirty. If it hadn't been so late when I checked in I'd have looked elsewhere. I REALLY don't think the owner cares. So after speaking with some locals I was informed this is where the addicts choose to stay. Lesson learned!!!!!!

This hotel is a disaster. Dirty, bad to no internet, and Breakfast was a joke.The cooler only contains butter. They show a poster of fruit, coffee and waffles. The waffle maker made waffle hash. Everything stuck to the waffle maker and you had to scrape off pieces. There was a toaster, but nothing to toast. There were individually wrapped pastries. (About 4) Those pastries tasted like they were bought off the expired shelf. There are no luggage carts, but if you ask nice, they could loan you a laundry cart. If I recall correctly, the sheers were ripped as though a cat had climbed them.Literally, the best part of the stay was the ability to wrap up our visit early and leave. I would rather drive and stay an hour away then EVER stay here again.Oh yeah, the fruit on the poster.....I guess they must think Apple Jacks (or was it Fruit Loops) qualify as "Fruit".

My room had no heat! I had to sleep in my clothes and coat! Also, the reservation page said "free hot breakfast". The was NO breakfast served! I feel I most definitely wasted my 16,000 points!I tossed and turned all night in the cold thinking to myself "well, at least you get a HOT breakfast in the morning!!". Nope! Talk about adding insult to injury!This property is the WORST!If anyone with Choice Hotels reads this,PLEASE REFUND MY 16,000 points to my choice account!!!Rooms: CCCCCOLD!!!!

DISGUSTING!!! And who knew smoking available rooms were still a thing. Mold, mildew, yellow smoke stained walls and bedding. Bedding was supposed to be white but was a gross stained yellow color. I wouldn't want my neighbor's dog walking on the carpet here. This place was so gross after we checked out three different rooms we left and found a hotel that wasn't disease ridden.

It was pretty rough. There was some sort of stains on the pillows that resembled dried blood. Not sure what it was but definitely grossed me out. The toilet seat was still dirty, had to be cleaned. The rag was yellow after I cleaned the seat off. The shower curtain had mold spots. And lots of hair all over the bathroom. Wouldn't recommend and wouldn't stay again.. also they have they're pool filled with water, but closed due to covid. But nobody keeps it clean, you can clearly see the mildew in the pool from the front desk. Not a good first impression 😕

The inside of the hotel was Dirty. The pool floor was green, but it was still open. Our non smoking room had cigarette burns on the comforter. The comforter was stained. The shower curtain was moldy and discolored. The office chair was wore out. I killed 5 roaches in the bathroom. It was a slum. Quality inn should drop them. The whole place needed a good scrubbing.

The pool is permanently out of service because the owners tried to cut corners and painted the pool with ceiling paint so the paint is clearly bubbling up on the pool floor.This Hotel is only in business because of people's necessity. Many corners are cut to save a few pennies. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.Oh and ask the desk how to work the shower. There is a nubby on the faucet that has to be pulled out once the water starts running.

The pool was permanently closed and there was no mention of this anywhere besides the pool door once you get there. I even called twice, once to confirm our reservation and then again to ask about TVs, plenty of time to mention it.We had a non-smoking room but there was a half smoked rolled cig and ashes on the window sill that had been there for who knows how long.The only vending machine with drinks was out of order so if you got thirsty just eat the ice cause their ice machine was working.One of our pillows was stained, just throw it out or clean it properly.All the other reviews mention not being able to work the shower but my husband figured it out ok.Our phone rang only once but two separate times and even after unplugging it, it made a weird static sound. Haunted probably.None of the staff greeted you if you did see them.Nothing was set out for breakfast even though they have the Q Quality signs right at check-in stating there is.

We usually stay at the one in Marion, but decided to pay extra to enjoy the indoor pool. They're overcharging for the quality of room it is.I will say the front desk staff was incredibly friendly, we have no issues with how we were treated as guests. But the room quality and cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. We won't be returning.Room fridge broken and not working, questionable black specks on shower curtain, badly needed new grout, overall just run down and not worth the price.

Room smelled of freshly smoke marijuana. Even after using half a can of concentrated room spray. TV would not work. When I picked up phone to call front desk the phone stuck to my face. After draining the hot tub hair bubbled up out of the drain. The guy at front desk was very helpful and patient with my complaints. However housekeeping continues to be issue at all quality inn hotels I have stayed at in the last 6 months. With only 3 cars in parking lot one would think that the staff has free time and could get the rooms ready for guests. Seriously considering staying goodbye to Quality Inn for good.

Overall our stay was all around a disappointment. When we booked the hotel online it showed that there was a fitness center but when we got there, they didn’t have one. The rooms are very out dated and a little musty smelling. We were in a non smoking room but when I walked into the bathroom I was able to smell smoke most likely from the room next to me. Next, we went to go swimming and there were too many chemicals in the pool that it turned my hair green. I have been swimming before recently and this has never happened. When we went to speak to the manager that was there he didn’t have anything to say, there was no apology from him. (my hair is still green). Lastly, the “breakfast” that was served was even a breakfast. It was a pre packaged honey bun with coffee or juice. There were no healthier options like even fruit. I DO NOT RECOMMEND EVER STAYING HERE.

I was looking into this hotel because I'm traveling for work, but after reading the most recent reviews I have to ask myself: If people are saying the same thing over and over again regarding lack of cleanliness and poor service, then why isn't anyone doing anything to fix the problems? I was hoping to see a more recent and consistent pattern of good reviews showing the mistakes of the past have improved. Instead, they look worse!! I'm gonna take a pass! Camping out in the cold might sound like a better alternative!

The room was decently clean, but needs a lot of updating. The drains were very slow in draining.I went to the front desk and asked if I could go to the kitchen/dining area and get a few napkins and a couple of paper plates (my son and I ordered a pizza because most things were closed due to covid). As I was looking at a stack of napkins the front desk person told me the hotel didn't have anything like that. This conversation took place while the front desk clerk was looking at her computer screen. I thanked her and walked back to my room.We used wash cloths from our bathroom instead.

This seemed to be the best option in the area for a home base for hiking without camping. Camping may actually be more luxurious. The pool is green and reeked of chlorine. It stung our eyes before even getting in. My son couldn't stop coughing the entire time he was in the pool area because of the chemicals and his asthma. The room is small. The beds are not bad. The tv worked sometimes. Other times it couldn't find a signal. The fan in the bathroom does nothing. After taking a shower be prepared to have soggy toilet paper from the lack of ventilation. No breakfast currently due to COVID-19.

The night clerk, James, gave us outstanding service. The rooms were clean. The beds were comfortable. Had a pillow top mattress and lots of nice pillows. Only coffee, juice and honey buns for breakfast.

The service at this hotel is what you can expect from having no competition. 200 dollar hold on your debit card, or cash if paying with cash.Am a platinum member with choice and they didn't honor the late check out, girl at the front desk, when I told her we had a late check out Drew in a breath through her teeth as if she was disgusted.Said we don't do that here......better off not staying at this location if you can at all help it.Rooms were of good quality for 54 a night, but their "breakfast" is a dollar store honey bun, and orange juice or apple.All in all hospitality isn't a service that is offered by day shift in this location.

Worst stay at any hotel I've ever been to. I stayed in the " suite" or so they called it. Everything in the room was broken including the TV. No clean towels in 3 days even when we ask. We ask for more coffee for the room since a single honey bun was all they allow per person for the "continental breakfast" and the man got mad and said he guessed we could have 2 After 3 days! Rude people ,high prices and nothing works. I would give less than 1 star if I could.

The room was very dirty! The bed skirt hasn't been washed in god knows how long it had nasty stuff all over it! The hot tub in the room had two jets not working and the pieces to the underneath were just laying up against it! Lamp in room that we thought had a light bulb that was blown didnt work after replacing the light bulb! The lamp shade had blood on it! The headboard looked as if it had something smeared on it! The top of the headboard had a bunch of dust on it! The windows had cobwebs! The bathroom floor wasn't swept and had hair on it! The breakfast was one little honey bun and juice or coffee! For the price it was disgusting! I would not recommend staying here!

Staff are great...very nice and friendly. Beds are surprisingly comfortable. The building is old and needs some work. Only downfall is actual cleaning of rooms. Found underwear behind d bathroom door and cough drop wrapper in sheets. Smoke alarm removes from room due to needing batteries. NO batteries in hotel, so no smoke alarm in room!

I have stayed at this hotel several times in the last 1 1/2 months. Staff is always willing to do their best to make sure your stay is comfortable. I have had absolutely no problems, even when having to add a day to our stay. Every room I have stayed in is always clean and if anything you may have forgotten they usually have at the front desk. I will be staying there again in the near future. As a smoker they are 1 of the only hotels in the area that allow smoking. I would recommend this hotel to any one who is needing a room in this area.

The first room we were put in had stains all over the bed, sheets and blankets. The lights and alarm clock did not work either. We then went down and asked to be put into a different room. After dirty looks from the staff, we were moved to a different room. The second room was not terrible however the blankets and sheets were stained. When I called and asked for a different set of sheets and blanket, I was told that they did not have any extra. Someone then came up, washed our set and returned back to our room. The A/C in both rooms barley worked, let alone cool off the room. The cockroaches spotted throughout the hotel added a little bit of additional fun to our stay. I did not (would not) eat breakfast at the hotel. However the rest of our wedding party did and from what they said, it was not good at all. The entire staff needs to be retrained! I was asking basic questions about the amount being held from my card, if the amount was being held or withdrawn from the account, what name would show up on the statement, was it a freeze/hold or was is going to be a full charge.... and nobody had answers! I did not feel safe and/or comfortable giving my card to the staff. Did I mention the internet was not working all weekend long?... Overall, one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at...
