Really nice little store. Great snacks.l, and a good menu for a small country store. Staff was friendly and store was clean. Restrooms are nice, but could have used a clean up the day I was here. I ordered a cheeseburger and onion rings. It was delicious. Plenty of gasoline pumps too.

Roger made a chicken strip salad with no tomatoes, tonight. He chopped everything so you don’t have large leaves to stuff into your mouth and the meat was cut small, too. It was perfect. Nicely done, Roger! Thank you.

I have been to the Mitchellville country store a few times here in the last few months. Everytime I go in to the store, the owner is loud and talking rude to his employees and infront of customers. The kitchen staff doesn't like to leave their hair out of my food. Blonde or white hair not really sure. 🤔 it's was gross either way.I don't recommend this place.Also it would kill these people to smile at you or even say have a nice day.

I was passing through from Tennessee fuel light came on shortly after passing through metropolis, needless to say this store was a much needed oasis. It was clean the girl working was very friendly and prices were very fair.

Wonderful country store! It is very clean and convenient. The owner and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful and always very pleasant to talk to. You should stop by sometime around lunch time, their daily specials are incredible!

Great convenience store after you've left town. The food is good, if not great, with specials for dinner.Parking lot is getting better, was a mess with all the big rigs tearing it up but they've done some work on it and most of the giant crater potholes are gone.Great stop before heading out

Country atmosphere and great food to enjoy eating in or to go. I like their pizza to go and especially the fish dinners on Fridays or the specials of the day can hit the spot.

I walked up, opened the door and NO staff members were wearing masks. I turned around and immediately left. A friend just bought a house nearby and this gas station lost 2 customers for life. WEAR A MASK!

They are a great general store that has increased what kind of foods they serve. Gas prices are a little higher due to it being outside of town.

Don't plan on going in there in the mornings and not being late for work. This happens to me Everytime I stop in in the morning. They either don't have the sandwiches made or the worker isn't around. Plan 20 minutes extra!
