What a wonderful place. This organization does not put animals down to make more space. I just adopted a cat from them. He's a perfect match. They had him examined, neutered, chipped, wormed, all his shots for a $75 adoption fee. Unbelievable.They were so helpful. The young people who work there are just awesome. They are truly passionate about their love for these animals. I can not recommend this place enough!

These people REALLY care about these animals. It's a great shelter and a wonderful place to find the right adoption animal for you. Their website is easy to access, and they update often. Come help one of these beautiful and loving cats or dogs find their forever home!!

My fiance and I went there to adopt two kittens. We adopted one and are fostering another until March 17 when she is spayed then we can adopt her. The two of them are getting along fantastic and fit into our home perfectly. ❤️❤️

Good girls and guys out in Hanna City. Small shelter providing shelter for the cats and dogs, and outdoor runs for dogs. I recommend them for adopting. My experience was a great one. They were patient listening to my questions and giving answers. :-) Highly Recommended!!!

Recently I adopted a little buff kitten from Sam's rescue and he is an absolutely doll. I think he has rescued me.I found Sam's Rescue to be so pleasant from the staff to the cleanliness of the facility. The animals there are very well taken care of. I will definitely adopt from them again. Very professional Staff. Go out to Sam's if your looking to adopt you won't be sorry you did.

I recently adopted a beautiful, healthy, & happy kitten through SAMS. The volunteers are amazing! The process was very quick (only took 2 days from application to bringing home my new fur baby) and thorough (they called references to make sure I would make a good pet parent). Thank you SAMS!!

Rarely do I write reviews but this is shelter is the kind of place that should put a smile on anyone's face :). The founder is very welcoming and friendly. The animals are obviously loved and well taken care of. People are welcome to drop by and volunteers are always warmly received!

I had a great experience with this place! I had been looking for a cat to adopt but never dared to make my decision. One day I just decided to check it out. I stopped by without making appointment at 5.30 pm. I was greeted by a very nice welcoming lady. She showed me around and introduced literally every single animal at the shelter. I loved how clean and neat the shelter is. It looks more like real home for all the animals (even though lots of animals have to stay in cages since they don't have enough room).I walked in a room with about over 10 kittens to look for one. The kittens were all so playful, nice, and healthy. I made my decision right away coz one kitty just chose me and I totally fell in love with her. I submitted the application, they checked with my two references and approved me. I got my kitty within a week.Honestly I wasn't a cat person before, since I had allergy to cat. However, having Ivy (my first pet/cat) brought bunch of joy to my life. She's just the sweetest kitty ever. Now I have had her for over 1 month and can't wait to spend more time with her. :)

We adopted a cat from SAMs over a year ago and it was such an amazing experience from start to finish. The staff at this shelter are always so kind and welcoming and truly care about their animals and creating a sanctuary for them. Whenever I am here, I never feel rushed and the staff is always there to answer any questions about the animals. The experience, staff and shelter are unlike any I've visited and I will continue to reccomend them to anyone looking to add a furry friend to their family. Thanks SAMs!

SAMS hands down is the best rescue/shelter around. They care so deeply for the animals. I have seen first hand how hard the volunteers work to keep the animals safe, healthy, happy, and to get them adopted to loving families. Whenever someone asks where they should look for their new fur child I always recommend SAMS

I love the fact it is a shelter and that they DO take care of the animals and I realize a lot of the work comes from volunteers. That's where the three comes in. Many of the water dishes and pools were not clean outside, the beds are dirty and muddy, grass is overgrown. Inside of the shelter is ok though.

The place to go to adopt your forever pet. The people who work here are absolutely wonderful, and they do a great job taking care of the animals in their facility. Their fur babies seem to be really happy here, but they still need someone to adopt them

Wonderful facility, awesome people. Adopt! I stopped by this time to donate a metal dog crate and dog toys that were to big for my dog. Owner is present and dogs are well taken care of. Good variety of breeds and ages. They even work with Petco to help with adoptions. Dogs were super playful and energetic.

The people out at Sam's are very helpful very kind and nice people Sam's is where I adopted my pity buster he was very set back very shy very scared though it took me 2 years to get him out of that but he has made a full recovery and I think Sam's for letting me have him
