The store is randomly closed during normal business hours. It is easier to just head across the river to Keokuk then gamble on wether or not they will be open.

Small but well stocked. Everything you need and many you didn't know you wanted. Prices comparable to other stores. If you shop sales and use coupons is not unusual to save over $15.00 or more. Especially on Saturday when they have $5.00 off with a minimum purchase.The smiling staff. Good attitude and helpful.

Great camping! Beautiful park! Great walking, hiking, and biking. We bring our own kayaks but they also rent them out. Wonderful swim beach. Great prices! Close to casino and small town for essentials!

Three nasty women work there. They actually took away my daughters shopping cart because she had too many deals and they did not want her to have the deals. They must have had plans to take the deals for themselves. They should be fired and my daughter should sue dollar general. This happened today. 11/12/19.

I enjoyed Shopkins Dollar General. When I couldn't find something I could ask and they had no problem showing me where things were and the best deals in different places throughout the store. I recommend this store to be visited by everyone.

Convenient Location with Everything I need right at the Time I need it! Will Notice the Piles and Piles of Boxes sitting around everywhere! Bathroom (Or whole store for that matter) Wasn't the cleanest.... Would probably come back for the Convenience of Location

I love going in here just to interact with the employees, they are very polite and great to chat with. Everytime I have gone in I have needed help finding something and they are always able to point me in the right direction

Prices are great. It's in a good location and makes getting certain things great since it is really the only store in town. Service was very friendly.

Dollar General is difficult to get in and out of because they have stock carts blocking access to much of the store. Almost never having check staff in the area of the registers. A thief could walk in and out and no one would even realize because no one's around.

Clean store with friendly service. Very limited selection of refrigerated and frozen foods. No fresh foods. Easy in and out from U.S Hwy 136.
