On our way to Peoria my son asked if we could get something to eat. I pulled out my help app to see what was up the road. Ironically when I first seen it I thought it was Wendy's.We took the exit and parked behind the building. An old building with some character. We walked in and set at the bar. These are the old school mounted round seats with a red top that spin. Anytime I see those I expect some a great breakfast, just like grandma used to make.I order some standard bacon and eggs with a pancake that didn't disappoint.Great service while we were there. I rate it a five star because anytime I'm heading down 55 in the morning, you can bet I will seek this out to eat at again if time permits. Great little find off the interstate.

Great friendly service, great music, great comfort food! I cannot day enough good about this place! I read some reviews before we came, and since it’s a day before a holiday, we called ahead to make sure they were open. They answered and we are so glad they did! We are driving a great distance before Thanksgiving and this place happened to be on our way. It was not too terribly busy, which allowed for us to really enjoy our experience to Weezy’s.This place feels like a small town good ole bar and grill! Nothing fancy, which makes it such a great experience!

I haven't been since I was a little girl and it was Earnie's. (35 years ago!) We had great service, the food was delicious (I had spaghetti) and I loved the decor. If we are ever driving through that way again, we will definitely be back.

Great place to eat in Hamel, IL, located on historic Route 66. The decor inside harkens back to the heyday of road travel on this iconic highway. The staff is so friendly and will accommodate just about any request. The food is delicious - hamburgers, fries, wraps, rubens, there is a kids menu with chicken fingers, mini tacos, grilled cheese, and we even ordered the quesadilla appetizer for our finicky 5 year old! The bar takes up the middle of the main room, and there’s more seating in the back room. It was fun to sit near the bar and hear the friendly banter of the people stopping in for a refreshment and some conversation. Would definitely stop in again.

Stopped in when traveling from St Louis to Chicago. Fun rt 66 theme. I personally had the best veggie wrap I’ve had in a long time. Traditional diner/bar ambiance. Service was a tad slow but to be fair, super busy due to a mini golf pub crawl.

This is a rustic bar which is decorated uniquely with thermometers and other and other vintage memorabilia. I've eaten here a few times and the food is always been excellent. There is about 10 stools at the bar and maybe seats another 30 to 40 inside at capacity but well worth the time for for a meal and an adult beverage if you're so inclined

We used to really like this place, but after today's experience, I don't think we will be back. It's just very average diner food, and really the only safe thing we've gotten on the menu is the regular burger, everything else has just been blah or disappointing. Our daughter got the kids meal burger, yet somehow it was bigger than my husband's tiny patty melt on rye, yet it cost the same as the 1/2 lb burger our boys ordered. The fries were overcooked, dark brown and crispy. It just doesn't feel like we are getting our money's worth.I will say that the service is always great, though.
