FYI - No public laundry, but they do have 7 showers. Mine was very clean & water pressure was very good. Restrooms clean at different points of the day. Greeted immediately as I walked in & cashier was leaving at the end of her shift, but still stopped to say hello.

Before you pump, make sure to check the price. This station does NOT honor the price they display on their sign. Cash Price was advertised at $3.98, but even after letting the attendants know that my pump was displaying the incorrect price (after pre-paying my cash money), they "could not" fix it. I was them promised to have someone reach out to me the next day, but that also, unsurprisingly, never happened.

What can I say. I love my Love's. 7 showers friendly staff clean everything. Your restaurant choices are McDonald's and subway and roller food. But across the street is a pizza joint. The name of it is ( The Other Place On The Hill. The food is really good very friendly waitress are HOT!!!! Walk over it's worth it!!! Great prices. Stop by The Other Place On The Hill. Your Family here. Stay safe driver's.

Clean place but I’m not sure about their employees. This snow globe, which is obviously Chicago, is labeled Austin. Turns out that’s where I’m from so I asked if she’d sell it to me for $1 since its obviously invalid and quality control must of missed it. She said absolutely not. That she’ll sell it to “somebody”. Jenna was her name and she’s the shift or manager on duty who obviously thinks her customers are fools. Sad reality of greed and extremely poor customer service. I went back in and sure enough, she stuck it back on the shelf for some poor sap to accidentally buy before they realize it’s wrong

This Love's Travel Stop is conveniently located off I 55. The rest rooms were clean. The staff were OK. The selection of items were good. The fountain pop machine area could use a good cleaning. It was a quick stop for us. They have a McDonalds and a Subway connceted to this Love's.

I absolutely "Love" Loves gas station and convenience store! Their fuel options are great, and the convenience store has everything I need. The staff is friendly, making every visit enjoyable. From snacks to necessities, they've got me covered. Fuel up and experience the "Love" at Loves!

On a road trip through the country, we marked Hamel as a halfway point. Pulling in just before 10 pm we easily found a spot for the van. Shared a wonderfully hot shower (clean shower and bathroom facilities). The shop was fully stocked with anything you might need along with an attached Subway and MacDonalds. Although it was a chilly night, it was a quiet night. Woke up to some farm smells and explored the muddy small dog park. Poop bags available - yet forgotten. Washed off the pups paws and carried on

Very clean, newer construction loves. Has all your usual truckstop amenities, diesel, air, lots of parking, fast food with a subway and McDonald's. Stopped in for a shower and was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and cleanliness of the all tile showers! Definitely will be back

The poor ethics and lack of common sense of the night crew tonight 10/22/23 is out of the charts! My husband bought a shower and he was constantly being bothered by the night crew who's only excuse was that he had just started the shift so he didn't know if the restroom/shower was being used. Then he asked the register person what are the hours of operation of their McD's and refused to answer. Then when my husband asked if he was going to restock the hotdog area he was meat with "What you see is what it is, and it's only me and I can't do it all etcetera" Loves if these people need help at night that is understandable, we can't always control how many people work or are willing to go to night shift; however courtesy and simply human decency and empathy are always going to be a skill needed in a public job. People traveling especially truckers form the large majority of your customers, they spend hours upon hours on the road missing their families, the least that is expected from establishments like these are courtesy, common sense, and if possible some empathy.

This travel shop has everything you can want or need from keychains to sandwiches. Have a layover well enjoy a shower or gamble in the gaming room to see if you can win big. Has a subway for fresh sandwiches or has a good selection of pre made sandwiches as well. Has plenty of supplies for truckers & novelty items for travelers.

NONE of the gas pumps print a receipt and you must go inside to get one. This was confirmed but the employees. They said they have put in a trouble ticket but have not gotten any of them fixed. This has been going on for months.

Gas pump stuck and spilled several gallons of fuel on the ground and me, went inside to report the spill and the manager asked if i did this intentionally! Never offered any assistance or concern about fuel surrounding my vehicle or my safety. Love's customer service told me it wad my fault and not there problem. I went across the highway to the shell station and tested there pumps and they safely shut off every time. I frequently get gas and food from this love's on a weekly basis but will never set foot on their property again, rude,disrespectful and non helpful people also cooperate was no help. I highly recommend going somewhere else!

Nice place. EZ on and OFF. McDonalds on site. Typical newer loves. Good place to take a 30 before entering or after leaving St Louis metro. They will even give you a great LUBE JOB if you're willing to pay for it and you can get a RETREAD if you want to save a few bucks. See Photo. Enjoy. Have fun! Strive to be happy. 🙂

Got pushed out of the gameroom when i had just sat down. Apparently subway is in charge of the game room. Really weird. Save your money. Manager was rude and so was her boyfriend. Threatened me they were calling the cops when they basically forced me out of the room. I called in and she was magically off duty. Gambling is hard enough and they stole 60 dollars by making it an uncomfortable expereince. Shame on them

Showers are down. I totally understand, but saying in front of the customers that they are loving the fact there are no showers. I guess that lady who said that does not understand most of the truck drivers away from their homes for weeks and weeks just so that lady can get her food supply to keep up with her weight and it’s embarrassing to be cursing in front of your customers. No love here

I got my shower at 0030 and didn't get in there until almost 1 am. NONE OF THE SHOWERS had been cleaned. When I asked the red-headed guy who was cleaning the showers, he told me and 2 other drivers there was NO hot water. When asked if they have an eta to hot water, the red head guy "working" stated that the plumber should be there about 8 am. The other 2 walked out. I had already gotten my shower through the ap. Another driver that was there stated he just got out of shower 3 and had PLEANTY of hot water. I still took my shower and MUCH TO MY SUPRISE THERE WAS PLEANTY OF HOT WATER.When I entered the store, the fuel desk clerk was down, messing around and laughing and playing with the cashier of the other side.NO BODY likes to be lied to, and we as drivers depend on the showers. With employees that are lying to us just so they don't have to do their job, it looks REALLY bad.

The woman checking us out made my night by saying that I look like a teenager and I am turning 30 this year so 10/10 service! But in all seriousness very clean and great gas station/mini store. I would stop there again.

Everything seems great here, Showers were clean and beautifully hot, coffee counter also clean and tidy. Staff were busy attending people.Only downside was that they apparently don't stock the pre-made salads by Loves, only sandwiches. I asked the Manageress on duty Sun 31st July 12pm about this and as she looked up from her phone screen momentarily said we don't sell salad then dismissed me and continued with her more important scrolling. Hence why only 3 stars.

Very clean store. Good breakfast burrito!Cashiers were talking to each other when i came to the register. Didnt greet me. Rang my items up. As they cont. To talk.Handed me my change.Very rude for sure! Only one that spoke to me or my party was a manager. They need better customer service skills.

Tried to get into 2 other Love's to get a tire patched and told it would be several hours. Spoke to Jason at this location and they got me right in, fixed and on my way in an hour. Courteous professional staff. Also, they had several techs working in the shop and all were busy doing something. Great Job!! Thank You!
