God bless Dollar General. The staff is unfailingly pleasant, despite how hard they're worked. This store is a godsend for those of us living in a rural area. I love not having to haul my cookies all the way to Highland or Edwardsville if I need shampoo or cat food or something. Dollar General offers a surprising variety of grocery staples and baking essentials, in addition to school supplies and other fun stuff.

Dollar General is NOT concerned about our community’s safety! We have many seniors living in the community and while I was shopping yesterday Sunday 10/4 an un-masked woman was in the same isle as me, so I decided for the safety of my family and others to move to another isle until she left.As she walked away she began coughing. I don’t know what was the cause of her cough but I felt disturbed that someone could be so callous.I wanted to simply mind my business but, today I felt I should say something, the manager said the district manager will not enforce mask wearing in the store... DKs does.I don’t care about people’s politics but I do care about public health and safety... this is not about liberty it’s about LIFE!

Staff is always pleasant when we are there. The store has a lot to offer, but it is very packed, although still easier to get through than Highland. Overall it's a good location.

One popped up in our small community. They seem to have a little of everything. It is nice not having to drive 10 miles to the closest store. Their prices are very competitive too.

Only one person working the check out lane. Didn't see any other employees in the store. Stood in line for long time. The one employee working was doing her best.

Called ahead to see if they had what I was looking for, they did. I made a trip there and picked up a few other things too, besides what I called for. Prices are always good! Great place to shop!

No store hours posted. Website said they were open until 9 we pulled up at 8 and they were closed already. No hours were posted on the doors and the young man inside just ignored us. Sucks when you can't find out things if your not a local resident.

Came in for one thing, cubes of regular facial tissue. None of any brand. It wasn't Covid panic, they still had TP on the shelf. But how does someone run out of such an important seasonal item?

Nice small town store. Got caught short on ice for July 4th. Nice staff helpful. Keep stocked up on ice. Mr. Manager. At least for the summer.

The people who work here are few and far between. No one really likes their jobs and it is kind of a long wait to have someone check you out. Usually there is only one person working at the store and that gets really aggravating when there is a lot of people trying to leave.

It's fine but the checkout service is always pretty slow and they rarely open the second register even if the line is long.

My granddaughter needed a special type of glue and paper for a school project. I had no idea what she was talking about. She said "take me to Dollar General ". I did just that. Sure enough, they had exactly what she needed. The young man there knew what she was talking about and took us right where she found everything she needed.

Some are friendly. But about half are rude and uncaring towards customers. They started with a much more friendly staff in the beginning.
