I love going to my local Walgreens for all of needs including pharmacy. Today I am focusing this review more on a specific employee named Brandy. Brandy goes above and beyond for every customer. For the last several year's every time I am in the store she is so kind and helpful. She is wonderful ❤️

I shop here regularly. I came in on Saturday night, browsing the make up section clearance items. Browsing the make up specialist starts following me up and down the aisle, giving me the impression that she thinks I put something in my pocket, where my wallet is that I keep my hand on. Walked away, immediately, picked out other grocery items and head to the checkout counter. Make up girl is there talking to the cashiers, whom all fell silent when I approached to be rung out. It was SO OBVIOUS what they were conspiring. I felt embarrassed and belittled by 3 employees who are half my age.

The score would be higher if there wasn't an absolute infestation of large spiders in their drive thru. If you have any sort of arachnophobia make sure to go when you have the ability to walk in. It would be one thing if it was a local issue but it's not.

Went to visit this location a couple times recently. Had a great experience with a worker named amber. My past experiences with this store I never received the customer service she provided for me. She said she was new to the store. I asked her a question about a product and she went over and beyond to provide me with the right advice and information I love it. If she didn’t know something she’d find the answer and the right answer. Not just tell me what I want to hear like other workers do. Great problem solving skills way over par for a employee I’d expect to be working at Walgreens. You guys have a great worker at hand. when she was done assisting my needs she kept working. A quality most retail store employees lack. Great job amber keep up the good work I appreciate you. Oh and the candy in the front was stocked up and the facing was wonderful I bet she did that too because I never seen it like that before. Definitely visiting this location only because of the diamond in the ruff you guys have named amber. Thank you for employing a worker that’s going to make a difference in the store and our community

The bathroom at this healthcare facility hasn't been cleaned in years. It reeks of dried urine and feces. The bathroom in the lake county jail drunk tank is cleaner than the Walgreens pharmacy in Gurnee.Years ago Walgreens quit using a cleaning service to save $$$. This mess is a direct reflection of local leadership accepting that the bathroom looks like this, day in and day out for years.

During 2021 I was able to get Sudafed through the drive through. Today at this pharmacy I was told that as a disabled person I had to walk through the entire store inside to buy it to 'sign the pin pad'. That's interesting. I didn't have to in 2021. Clearly Walgreens doesn't care about people's health and instead wants to show how much they discriminate against disabled people. If they had an electronic cart or their pharmacy was at the front of the store it would be different. But I guess they hate people who aren't able bodied.

One star for the nice staff. Zero for the absurd pharmacy system. It says online that Walgreens has a responsibility to fill prescriptions in 15 minutes or less UNLESS they do not have what you need in stock otherwise they have to let you know. As a non-pharmacy customer, every time I go to this Walgreens there is a line down the parking lot for the drive-thru pharmacy window, and when you go inside there is a line to the other side of the store for the pharmacy line inside. The one time I needed a prescription, My default pharmacy was set to this location. I literally waited two days for my prescription. Went to go pick it but by the time I would have received my prescription in the store would have closed. I decided to switch my prescription to Walmart down the street. It took me a total of 30 minutes to Make an account, transfer my prescription, pick it up at no cost (because of my insurance).... I don't know what's going on at this Walgreens but I will definitely not be returning. They also raised all of their prices in this location by exactly a $1. I would definitely recommend taking your money elsewhere

This pharmacy team is the absolute worst I have ever experienced with Walgreens. Fill your script at another location if you need it the same day. They drop the ball every time. Terrible customer service. This team should be working at Long John Silver’s and not handling medications people rely on for their health.It’s very unfortunate because the retail staff is friendly and helpful.

The pharmacy staff is friendly but painfully slow. They were good with COVID testing/vaccines, but wait times for prescriptions are outrageous. I’ll go two stars because they are nice, but that is being generous.

The pharmacy will leave you on hold for over 15 minutes at a time and then hang up on you before you even have a chance to speak to them. It seems like everything from a commonly prescribed drug refill to a refill request being sent to your primary is completed at a snail's pace.

Kismet the late night manager was incredibly rude. I have never ever had a Walgreens manager not want to help out a customer. There was no customer in the store ask her for assistance for a simple propane gas exchange . She said qoute we cannot go outside right now go to the Walgreens down the street see if they can help you. Look if she did not want to work there why is she in a leadership role? Please avoid asking for help from manager at this location as they clearly don't care for the community.

This pharmacy 90% makes you wait 30 plus minutes to answer phone and the staff is very rude … not helpful at all…telling me medication is out of stock so I need to go call other pharmacy such as cvs or sams club and and ask if they have in stock…they should know better , that info is not given to freely public … the staff at this Walgreens should not say that to customers. Instead , they should help you look for other Walgreens locations who do have it in stock so I can call docs office to transfer to a Walgreens that DO have it in stock instead of making it so difficult to get my ‘monthly medication .

Awesome Walgreens, always enjoy visiting and everyone is very pleasant!Sprint is gone!!!1 star due to the "Sprint Express" inside. Sprint employees hustle you anywhere in the store and say anything including lies to get you to sign up for Sprint Cellular service. I will not be going inside to buy anything until those con-artists are gone. I will only be using the drive through for medication pickup.I will update my review back to 5 stars when Sprint is GONE!

DO NOT GO FOR FLU OR BOOSTER SHOTS! I had a appointment went on my lunch hour waited over 40 mins to be told I didn't need a appointment and i had to leave to get back to work. I also sent my Doctor who i work for over there because i was told you did not need a appointment and they told him you need a appointment????? So therefore i was turned down for my appointment that i left work for and i sent someone there for no reason!!!!! So disappointment........... I will never go to Walgreens again. I will be now going to CVS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you

The worst pharmacy I’ve ever been too. They take days, Ive even waited over a week for some of my medications. They have also even given me the wrong prescription before, twice !! The lines are always ridiculously long and good luck getting anyone to answer the phone. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else!

Customer service truly sucks. I just needed some help on how to upload some pictures from my phone so's I can print them. Pushed the button for customer service and it was announced over the loud speaker. Waited and waited for SOMEone to come. Nope. A couple workers just kinda turned a blind eye. Jerks.

I have used many Walgreen stores at many locations. This location is the WORST. Last year the continued to charge me for prescriptions after my deductible was met. They kept claiming my deductible was $3,500, when it was in fact $2,500. I contacted my insurance company who contacted Walgreens, and Walgreens system always brought up my correct insurance and deductible information. Every other Walgreens location had no problem bringing up the correct insurance information. But this specific location, kept bringing up the wrong information, which has me convinced they were billing my prescriptions to some other person's insurance who had a higher deductible. They also have refused my credit card on multiple occasions saying the card won't work. I have used the card before and after being there and it works fine. So either their employees can't properly use the machines, or they have technical problems.In any case, there are other Walgreens stores in Gurnee, so if you have the opportunity, I HIGHLY recommend going to one of those other locations.

It's impossible to get information regarding your prescriptions. I was told my prescription was closed but they couldn't tell me if "my Dr. closed it or Walgreens closed it." Why would Walgreens close a prescription? Who could possibly be able to authorize that? How ridiculous for a pregnant patient not to be able to get refills because nobody knows why.

For every person ahead of you waiting to get a prescription, expect to wait 10 minutes.I don't know why it takes so long to find the pills, bag the pills and take payment for a single person's prescription but they seem to have great difficulty here with workflow.

Clean store, very organized. Most employees are friendly and super helpful ! Pretty good selection on snacks, drinks, and office supplies. I love ordering my photos from the walgreens app, they get sent to the walgreens and are usually ready within the hour! Super quick and easy gift ideas at the photo center!

Best location!!!. Jeff, in the pharmacy, is great to work with. I always get a smile and a "Hi" all the people there are helpful and agreeable. But occasional on Monday inventory is slower to restocked.
