Well stocked, helpful staff, they have training programs for the dogs and professional groomers to get your stinky dog and cat kids washed and groomed. No problems or issues, located in a busy area amongst other shops and stores. It's convenient.

Good place for pet supplies.Nice place to find basic pets, like birds, hamsters, fish, etc.They do have a bathroom in store for customers so there's that if you need it.They have a green cheek, some finches and budgies, canary and that's about it for birds.The prices are fine for the pet supplies. I compared some items with Amazon and found that they have better deals so keep that in mind if you are close by.For fish, they only have freshwater fish. Many angelfish and other smaller varieties. Many freshwater plants in tubes for sale. Decent amount of tanks and tank decors for sale.They also have some other pets like lizards, chinchilla, hamsters, etc. Not large amount of them though. You need to go to those specialty pet stores for those type of pets. They might have snakes but I probably missed it.Overall, definitely worth checking out if you need basic pet supplies.

The staff truly were very kind and understanding when helping me pick out prescribed food to help my 14 year old dog that was newly diagnosed with stage 3 kidney failure. I will forever appreciate their support and kindness in a rough and confusing time. Everywhere I looked cutlstomers and staff were being so joyful and kind to every creature and each other, and that truly lifted my spirits today!!🙏🏼💚🤓

This is not my local/neighborhood PetSmart. This facility is attached to our veterinarian, and it offers great & better service and prices than our neighborhood one. Yes, we do the hour drive from Racine, but today's visit was a gut punch. You can't escape the inevitable. Ziek is over 13 years of age.

PetSmart's a great place to go and get all your pet supplies. They have every cat and dog food under the sun. There is a vet and a groomer on site. You can also adopt pets there. They have dog training classes. My only gripe is that their cat trees are overpriced.

My dog is very nervous and scared around new people, because he is a large puppy it can put a lot of people off. After taking him to another place where they had no patience and just wanted to hurry up and get him in and out he had such a bad experience. I took him here to get groomed and the ladies there were absolutely wonderful they were patient and gave him time to relax and warm up. He was as happy as could be when I went to get him. I cannot thank these ladies enough!

To be the first time of a cut for my poodle, I had a horrible experience here. I just asked them to cut hair from her face, intimate part and paws and they cut the hair from her head and ears too and very badly done, very short on some sides and very long on others, my girl came out very ugly from her first haircut

I took my dog for a haircut on 9/3/2021. The reception was not a very friendly. The groomer was courteous when receive me. I explained what cut I wanted for my Cocker Spaniel dog. When they picked it up they had done the opposite of what I had told them to do. The dog has uneven cuts all over, one of the legs was passed by the trimer, they shaved it with a very short comb and almost reached his skin, leaving 3 inches badly trimmed. They cut off his mustaches, that night he was tripping over the sliding door and kitchen cabinet. To my knowledge the whiskers of animals should not be cut as they are part of their senses. I am totally disillusioned with the service with Petsmart Grooming, Gurnee.

Grooming services have improved. Seanna handled my "junkyard" dog well. This time, I opted for the fur-minator but I can't tell that much of a difference from regular brushing. The nail grind is a must and well worth the extra fee.

I go here a lot because I'm a delivery driver with doordash and the employees are very helpful. I had a couple questions because I'm not familiar with the store and how the process works and just the whole team was great the people helping me the cashier. They were all great. I don't own a pet at the moment so I never knew how much dog and cat food was sold and the store was labeled by each company when it came to food and that was very helpful. When I get doordash order sometimes they are just pick up and go and the orders are already packed for online order and sometimes you have to shop for them and everybody there is very helpful and kind.

Wow after seeing all the 1 star reviews for the grooming department at this gurnee location makes sense! They really need to get new management in the grooming salon! The grooming manager tabitha is so unprofessional, mean and very rude I cancelled my appointment because I was worried about leaving my dogs with her! My dogs were even freaked out by her and we come here all the time for there baths. We will definitely find a better place for my furrr babies with a better atmosphere and friendly management. Stay away from here!!

This business is good. It I use Banfield inside of petsmart.. they have the food our puppies enjoy. They have an abundance of toys, shampoos conditioners. Many different items a pet parent would need. Very helpful..
