Over several years I've randomly but regularly visited black cat minerals and not once was i disappointed. They always have a fantastic selection of minerals, both raw and polished. They carry the typical wares one would find in most metaphysical shops as well as a constantly changing eclectic selection of oddities and cat related items. The staff is friendly and engaging. The only issue I have with this store is my inability to stay within my planned budget for the stop.

I came in looking for supplies while out of town. This place was the closest to where I was staying so I decided to check it out. This is a good place if you're looking for large stones and crystals, but they don't carry a lot of practical use items. I was able to piece together enough things for a smoke cleanse and cord cutting, but not much else.

One of my favorite stores in the mall. I love crystals, tarot cards, metaphysical jewelry. This store was my favorite to shop in when I worked the mall over 20 years ago. They have the coolest jewelry and accessories for my witchy soul!

Had a wonderful visit this afternoon. The ladies who worked today were exceptionally kind and helpful. I was looking specifically for cat related items because I had just lost my 2nd cat earlier this week and my other cat 5 months ago and the owner is a cat lover also. I cannot thank you both enough for the kindness you showed me, the pet adoption info and for the tree of life which I will place near me always when I am resting at home.Thank you so much❤️PS I forgot to ask what incense you were burning, it smelled so familiar.

Today I was told that my sister went into this store, she has always come here & I would too, just to buy bracelet. But today she went in with my son, my son is a 3 year old that likes to pick up rocks from anywhere. It’s either the park or street. He likes to pick them up because as any other kid they have any type of collection, it’s either leaf’s, sticks, bugs, etc. my kids collections is apparently rocks. He tends to always grab any type of rock. So today there was an incident where my son saw rocks, mind you this is the first time he has ever come in this store, but he took rocks & put them in his pocket. The lady in this store yelled at my sister & accused her of making my son steal rocks for her. I’m sorry but 1. Who’s going to be stealing rocks?!?!?! & 2. He’s just a kid. A kid that likes to pick up rocks for his collection. I understand that that’s something that my son has to be taught about & have him understand that it’s wrong to do that in stores. But accusing someone of making a little kid steal some rocks is ridiculous. You don’t just go and accuse someone of stealing. How hard is it to respectfully go towards someone & tell them “hey, I just notice that your kid was putting rocks in his pockets. That’s something he shouldn’t be doing” or “just to let you know, please keep your kids hands to himself.” Or at least inform the adult. Also, at least give them the chance to explain. I will for sure not be coming back to this place. It was very unprofessional & disrespectful to just go around & accuse people of such thing. I’m not sure if it has anything to do with my race but sadly this will definitely not be my place to shop anymore.

My experience at this store was not a good one. If you love rocks and minerals this isn’t the best place for you to shop. I drove almost an hour to check this place out and I was extremely disappointed. High prices for poor quality products. I could feel that the owner of this store does not have a deep love for rocks and minerals. Most of the rocks were displayed in boxes on the floor and in bowls on very low shelves. People with bad knees and backs can’t bend down to see them. My wife and I had to crawl on our hands and knees on dirty carpet just to look at some rough fluorite that we were interested in buying. We ended up banging our heads on the shelf they were under. There were low hanging decorations that we kept smacking our heads into as well. Instead of displaying beautiful rocks in easy to see places there was a lot of non rock related products. Half the store seemed to be selling non rock and mineral products like incense, beef jerky, and wooden face masks. Where’s the love for beautiful agates, crystals, and minerals? You won’t find it at this store!

i’m not sure it the crystal i got is opal or clear quartz bc the guy told me clear quartz but i’m not sure if the tag said opal i don’t blame him if he was wrong tho it is clear in certain lighting, help tho

Clear quartz may help you with anxiety, but it will not help you with asthma.Never agreed with crystal shops that say they’re crystals help with physical ailments. If you are sick with some kind of illness or disability please go to the doctor and not a crystal shop.

the store itself was good, a decent amount of selections and variety of other products as well. however, my experience as a customer wasn’t as pleasant. walked into the store, no greeting or nothing was looking around to see what i would be interested just to find an employee staring right at me. this happened throughout my time at the store after a while she starts following me around and “fixing” things on the shelves while keeping an eye on me. it was clear that she thought something of me, perhaps it was because of my skin color but it was such an uncomfortable unwelcoming experience. i don’t know if i would come here again..

Nice variety of things. They were not very welcoming. They also watch you extremely hard as though you're a thief. I went with my daughter while she shopped for gifts, and if it was up to me regardless of their nice things, I wouldn't have shopped there.

This use to be my favorite place to shop for my minerals/crystals. So much that I have raved and reccomended it to many others who have the same love for the metaphysical. I have spent hundreds of dollars in that store probably about a thousand if I put all the years together. I will no longer spend my money there. I went with my mother today and felt very unwelcomed by both employees there. When we strolled in to the store we weren't acknowledge which is w.e they were busy with other things I guess. What felt off was when we started looking at rings one employee came and started acting as if she was "arranging" things next to us which made us feel uncomfortable. She didn't ask if we needed help so I just asked her so that she knew we were there to buy not steal. My mother felt so uncomfortable that she didn't even want to keep looking. I get that its the mall and others have probably stolen i have no doubt, but at least say hi to your customers and make them feel appreciated and not like criminals. There was more to this visit that really turned me off from ever coming back. Just as I raved to others about this store I will definitely let them know about our experience. Thank you for the years that I did use your store for my work tools. I will not be coming back there.

This store rocks!!! Beautiful crystals!!! Low prices on quality crystals and geodes and a huge selection to choose from. Her pendulums are outstanding. I spent hours there!!! So much cheaper than psychic stores!!! It’s far for me but I’ll be going again and again! The owner and staff are knowledgeable and are so kind and friendly. Not one time did they look up anything in a book all off the top of their heads! Love this store can’t wait to go again!!!

Extremely rude employee yelled at my son for a simple miscommunication, accused all his friends of stealing, going as far to ban them from the store all without letting any of them explainMy son has extreme anxiety and has the tendency to follow his friends so when he tried to let his friends know he was still shopping the beep thing went off and instead of letting them apologize and pay they not only yelled and embarrassed a group of KIDS but banned them from the store. Idk if it was because they were all people of color or what but one thing I do know is that me and family will never be shopping there againP.s this is my second encounter with a rude employee here

I LOVE going here! Good pricing for beginners and anyone higher! They have tons of crystals and incense and many other things your spiritual self desires! The owner and employees are all so helpful and nice, they're always ready to help and you tell they do care about customers! I was offered a basket today from a nice gentleman after he noticed my little crippled hand carrying some future purchased items! 😁 Everything is genuine and they have a great variety of almost anything you need! The store even has a great vibe itself so that just already makes you feel good about the place and the items you may purchase!

i as a fellow crystal lover and a local of this mall have been searching for a good crystal shop after the one on the opposite side of the mall had run out and the worker there suggested black cat minerals to me. at first i loved it. i was always greeted by a sweet ginger with short hair who would always say something kind to me. i ended up falling in love with the store. spent tons of money on jewelry, crystals, incense, and more. i had took some cousins from out of town to visit as well and even told all of my fellow crystal loving friends to come check it out. it became my top store i had to visit at least once every time i made a trip to this mall. however that was soon to change due to my most rent visit with my cousin. i am a worshiper of the goddess Aphrodite and was simply there for some rose water as an offering to her. since this was my first time purchasing rose water from there i was a bit confused on where to find it. thinking it would be in the back where most of their sprays are kept, i was searching and moving a few objects around. then i noticed a short blonde lady “rearranging” some shelves while eyeing my cousin and i. i thought nothing of it since i had only good intentions and nothing to be scared of. i then went up to her and asked to some assistance with finding the rose water. she helped me to find what i need and told me all about the rose water. i thought she gave me all of the information i needed. then i was helping my cousin pick out a bracelet while i noticed her catching a few glances more. it was her first time coming so she was curious and just wanted to look at the things they had to offer. once we paid she then continued to tell me how their would be a difference between paying with card and paying with cash. then again, i thought i had all the information about the rose water. my cousin and i paid then walked out before an alarm went off and i could tell from the way this women walked from behind her desk she was satisfied she had caught us doing something. i instantly back up as she makes her way to my cousin and i saying “so is there something we forgot to pay for?” i immediately feel my anxiety kicking in looking for the easiest way to prove my innocence. “we can let you look through out pockets and bags” i suggest. “well no, i don’t wanna look through your pockets.” responds the lady. i begin thinking of another idea and hand my bag of rose water to the lady and walked away. no beeping. next my cousin. no beeping. we clearly had nothing on us that was stolen. then she looks to my bag and says “oh. you know what it might be..” and begins taking off a sticker from my rose water and talks about how the manager puts something under the sticker to make extra sure it doesn’t get stolen. okay, fair. but she had plenty of opportunities to inform me about it instead of waiting it out to make me look like a thief. as much as i love this store i am certain i will return. i’ve never been more uncomfortable in a store i love the most. this was either a strong disliking to teenagers as i’ve seen other young teenagers come on here and rant on how a short blonde lady also has accused them, or it could do with her seeing me as a threat being a person of color. please do better❤️

This small shop boasts a great selection of gemstones and jewelry, as well as other trinkets and accessories. And the prices here are great. I've never been to a gemstone shop and purchased so many items for such an affordable price. The owner/manager is also very friendly, so there is no reason not to love this store.

I’m so glad I stopped there. That store had everything I was looking for: variety healing crystals and dried sage. Prices is affordable: less than $5 for dried sage; less than $15 for my black tourmaline pendant necklace. I had to leave before I spend all my money at that store. The worker was also very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. Definitely will be going back.

Went here for my birthday and loved it the crystals are affordable(only a dollar) and the place is pretty small so you don’t stressed out or anything and you have a lot of options and the front the desk lady was sweet

I adore this shop. I've gone countless times and purchased a wide variety of products, from stones to jewelry to dream catchers and incense. The kids love choosing rocks from the rock tub. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I was really worried when the shop moved, because at first I thought it was gone completely. So glad it stayed! Definitely my favorite store in the mall.

Always a pleasant time coming here. I drive about 40 minutes one way due to their eclectic inventory, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. They have just about everything you can think of from mineral specimens, jewelry, beads, incense, gifts and more! This is the purrfect store for whatever part of your spiritual journey you're on. My favorite is the large minerals they carry! I've bought lovely Red Calcite, Rainbow Obsidian, and a Clear Quartz cluster all bigger than size of my hand!! When I go to check out I always end up chatting with the staff about various things which is nice and they make sure to wrap everything well so it doesn't break.

I was so excited to see this second rendition of the store that was previously at the other end of the mall. I recognized the decor right away and walked in to ask the owners if it was the same store I mentioned and she said she bought it from her family [or something along those lines]. Coolest store in the entire mall if you ask me!

The inside is pretty good if you’re into the different stones and some crystals with poor-wire work as a necklace, in a very casual place. However, the male associate with a dark ponytail was very rude. It is not his job, nor his place in any circumstance to comment and insult a customer who it’ll simply trying to support them. Not going back as long as such inconsiderate employees are hired.
