The parking lot is a mess with both trucks and cars entering on the same tiny road. The trucks waiting to exit block the entrance for cars. The bathrooms did smell nice, but one of the sinks were broken. Nice to see some different food options attached rather than the standard McDonalds or Arby’s. But that parking lot situation really brings down the rating.

I like Love's and it's my favorite of truck stops of course being just a car traveler I haven't been to many different, but I have found Love's better. Your results may vary, lol. I stopped here a few years ago and everything around had no power, but everything was working good this time.

Clean bathrooms as always, near the interstate, plenty of parking, typical offerings a Love's has. They have 3 different food choices: Chester's Fried Chicken, Godfather's Pizza and naf naf 🐪 Mediterranean grill. I picked the naf naf option. Ordered the build your own and the grilled steak pita with garlic sauce, cucumber salad and red cabbage salad. Delicious!

On 18 April 2024, while trucking Westbound on I-70, we a flat on our trailer. My husband called this Loves at the 119mm, tire guy was out on a call, so we limped it on down the shoulder, trying to make it, we called again when we reached the 119 off ramp. He had just gotten back from the previous call and he came to us, told us IF we could limp on into the shop it would be better and less expensive. Oh I forgot to mention this was about 1:30 AM. We limped it on in to the parking lot, he actually had other trucks move to get us closer to the shop. He also had 2 or 3 guys in front of us and he'd wake us up when he could get to us. Come to find out, we'd had blown another tire. 17.5" the only one they had was OVER $700. MIKE clocked out, shift over, took my husband over to get a tire for $210 and brought him back and the day crew put it on. MIKE went Above and Beyond to give us Great Customer Service. He certainly needs to be recognized for they way he treated us. Thank You Mike, you were a Blessing and we appreciate your kindness. Sincerely, Preston and Kathy Shivers

This is pretty clean shop and I enjoyed all the different options of coffee they have here. The bathrooms are pretty big on the male's side as well. Though I will say that food there was kind of expensive but they do have a food case.

Decided to stop here as I needed the shop. Great service in the shop and in and out. Stayed for my break. Came in during the evening hours and bathrooms filthy. Someone called one of the staff to see the bathroom and the employee quote said, “we don’t check this on a regular basis as we have other things to worry about” so Loves your famous saying clean places friendly faces is already off to a bad start.Asked to have a pizza made and the young lady had such an attitude I stated I didn’t realize I was an inconvenience. During this same time, someone who is either the manager or thinks she is is extremely rude to the fellow drivers and making nasty comments over the call system stating if your not here to fuel or purchase items then on get on out of here and one of my favorites if your parked at the fuel pumps and have completed your 30 minute break, shower and meal period you’ve taken enough of our space so leave. I admit I hate when drivers do this but this is not the correct way to handle it. Loves you need to do better. Be what you state you are and do secret shops. Go in and audit your stores and see what is and isn’t happening. Shameful.

Came in this loves to Naf Naf. The lady that was working was so rude. She was also complaining about having to work by herself. Her hair was all in her face over the food. I seen her wipe the corners of her mouth with the gloves on. She never changed gloves. Disgusting!!!! Hopefully she’s not there IF I ever return.

Its a shop with pretty much everything you might expect at a highway shop. Most fresh food items and drinks are fairly priced. Some packaged items may seem like over priced. So fair shop. It's just that I'm not sure why their staff assume that all their customers are some kind of druggist, homeless or something, and they have all the right to misbehave or talk rudely. I noticed that they were behaving odd with pretty much all customer.

Love's seems to be a bit hit and miss lately with some being really great and a few being not so great. The one I visited last week in Jonesboro Arkansas earned a rare one-star review. This one in Greenup Illinois is not so great.The coolers of drinks were great and the roller grill was fully stocked. The cold snacks display in the center was reasonably well stocked at 2pm. The rest room, quite bad. Litter and trash on the floor with a "watch your step" marker. Fuel pump area also had some trash on the ground.This Love's was a disappointment.

1. 2 showers were free but still i had to wait there for 30 min.2. Shower floor was so dirty. There were small hairs all around and something was there near the door.3. I asked a lady on the counter to print an email for me and oh my God! She had tons of attitude. I don’t know why she act so rude.There was no any sense for such attitude.

I got some chicken tenders and they were super old and bad. It was 4:30 pm so I probably should’ve expected it and they knew because they threw in an extra piece. BUT they were way too nasty to eat and for $17 (a 2pc and a 4pc for us both), I took them back in. They were nice enough but forgot my sauce when they replaced them with fresh cooked chicken. But here’s the thing…the fresh chicken was nasty too. Had a very bitter taste like too much artificial preservatives in the chicken or bad grease, I don’t know. Being a driver, I had not eaten in almost 30 hours and used my food money on food I couldn’t eat. Now I have to wait 8 more hours to eat again.

Good place to fuel up RV, enough room for 33ft with SUV on tow dolly.Was also able to fill propane on our rig and take dogs out at the little dog park there. Filled up air in tires for free @ truck diesel pumps in back (air at every odd # pump).Everything we needed at one stop!

Managers are not interested in the safety of the entrance and exits. Frankly, they couldn’t care less until it’s time to call the police and ambulances. They need more restrooms at the shop. It such a busy and dangerous area. Lots of restaurants in the area.

Lovely store! Two restaurant choices, chesters and ihop. Clean bathrooms, great merchandise options including gift items. Friendly staff that are quick to give a welcoming greeting. Decent amount of showers. One potential issue is no showers, but otherwise a great location. Parking lot is on the larger size for loves.

Shower room was extremely cold. The control for the little john, bottom, shower head did not work. Not able to shut off the Little John. Top shower head barely worked, probably because the bottom can't be shut off. Good hot water, though. Probably not a bad shower for people 3 foot tall.

No showers because of a broken water heater. Said the part would take a week to get. There's not a part house in the United States that would stay in business if they took that long to get a customer back up and running. I bet if the gaming machines went down they would be back up in an hour. Got to take care of the junkies.

Dirtiest Loves I’ve ever been to. Travel frequently, tend to pick loves over Pilots or Travel America, most are cleaner. 3PM, middle of day on a weekday 7/6/22, at least 5 people working. Trash in several isles, TP all over the bathroom, & gigantic pile of chunky vomit left in the middle of the floor. They clearly were aware, just put a do not slip sign up & left it! Hot day, smelled terrible, beyond being inappropriate, it’s & health & safety concern. Avoid this location

Woman working the fuel desk "Amber" extremely rude to drivers. Restrooms were an extreme health hazard at best. Parking was horrific. Hard to navigate to fuel pumps with all the illegally parked vehicles. If I could give negative stars Amber's attitude and this Love's earned a -10 stars. Do better Love's

Shower. Water pressure was outstanding on both the shower and the sink. Unfortunately there is hair on the walls, on the shower floor, and on the actual floor.

Great place for a truck stop!!! Its a loves though. Nothing like a mom & pop placeIf you have the time to wait they do have a shop, a cat scale & fuel islands.Eateries include a Chester chicken & IHOP express!Busy stop & sometimes kinda ran down
