If you are unfortunate enough to need their service, I hope you are fortunate enough to use their service. My wife and daughter were traveling from out-of-state and had car issues. Not knowing the area, the problem, or how to fix, they connected with Cumberland Towing. These guys responded quickly, assessed the situation, discovered there was not a need for a tow, but followed my family to the nearest station and made sure they were taken care of. 100% professional and caring, which is difficult to find these days. Can not thank them enough for taking care of my family in a difficult situation as if they were their own family. Well done, and thank you. Keep up the great work!

I have only used the services of Cumberland Towing one time. I spoke with Jesse, whom I assumed to be the owner, when my mother's vehicle had a wheel bearing explode. He was extremely professional and even more so polite. Cumberland Towing recovered mom's vehicle very quickly and did not require our presence during the recovery process. I have heard nothing but glowing reviews from everyone I have spoke to that have used the services of Cumberland Towing. Whether you drive a tiny little smart car or a tractor trailer Cumberland Towing has you covered.

On July 2, ‘23 my gal and I hit a deer on hwy 40 while driving our Solis Pocket (a converted Dodge Promaster). The damage was fairly extensive and we (and our dog, Duke) were roughed up in the accident. Josh handled the vehicle (and us) with confidence and consideration. Josh from Cumberland Towing was amazing. My husband and I were on a road trip to visit family over Labor Day weekend, and our car broke down 3.5 hrs away from home. He was so kind, patient, professional, and careful with our car. I am 6 months pregnant and He absolutely went above and beyond to help us navigate where to tow our car, how to rent a uhaul (since no rental cars available on a holiday weekend!) so we could get home. He waited with us to make sure we got all our things loaded into the uhaul safely. It was such a headache of a situation and Josh was the only bright spot. To be transparent, I have not utilized the towing services of Cumberland Towing LLC. But I have dealt with the owner, Jesse Pointer, regarding another matter. Though I cannot say that we exchanged pleasantries, I can say that this individual cares about the safety of others and I am sure that he is a kind and caring person to others that know him. I am sure that he has also been very helpful to those that have utilized his towing services. His business is relatively new to the industry, but it seems promising and I hope that it thrives for many years to come. May your experience in owning your own business be pleasant, may all of your hard work in the years to come be fruitful, and may you always remain safe in your line of work that can oftentimes be treacherous. We had an accessory drive failure on our ambulance we were 40 miles from our station. They were quick and professional and took care of our equipment in short order, they got us towed to our mechanic right away. Josh was amazing!! I called from another state for my son who was stranded on the highway. He came quickly, looked at the problem on the highway then towed their van and trailer to the local Ford service garage. When it was closed he tried hard to get it fixed and back on the road. They couldn't find the part they needed but his work fixed our problem and they were able to continue their journey. Highly recommend this company.

Yesterday afternoon we broke down in the pouring rain, and our day was not going to well. That all charged when Josh arrived. Not only did Josh quickly hook us up and tow us up to a nearby Ford dealership he also fixed our Van once we arrived there which he unlikely knows that he did because we didn’t try to run it again until after he had left. If I am ever broken down I can only hope to have someone as knowledgeable, professional, and friendly as Josh come help. A true master of his craft!

Finally I went to just asking to get my belongings out because now I could never afford the car.. everytime I would call I would just get an answering machine. Josh....The Greatest Tow Man in this country without question. I never in my life thought I would find myself happy to have broken down on the side of the highway.A life lesson was learned yesterday when Josh arrived with a smile on his face and an unwavering positive attitude. He went above and beyond throughout the entire experience offering every bit of advice and knowledge he had to offer. All while hooking us up and towing us safely and quickly to our destination.Upon arrival (still in the pouring rain) Josh diagnosed the problem and did all he could to fix it. While he thought he was unable to fix it , whatever he did under our hood while checking the problem ended up fixing it, as we noticed after he left us.The greatest customer service I have ever experienced and it was all happening in what most would consider an unfortunate situation. If you are within 5 hours of Greenup, Illinois I beg you to call Josh at Cumberland towing.You will not be disappointed.

This is the most disrespectful company I have EVER dealt with.After receiving FIFTY THOUSAND for towing, for the accident that our company was not responsible for, I received multiple threats and offenses ,so anyone considering this companies service, think twice. I quote just one of the emails directed to me:"I'm not holding based on that I'm holding based on non payment. Whenever it is paid, you can have it. Thanks to people like myself and other veterans, you foreigners have the freedom to live in this great county and operate sketchy fly by night companies. You're welcome for that!👍.The invoice speaks for itself. Yea sure , that's why the post accident drug test was clean. In addition to all that, liability company of another carrier is handling the damage done to our company. Yet, this gentleman chooses to send threatening emails to me, and not call the insurance company responsible for the loss and is handling in TIMELY MANER . However, he is choosing to send threats and not wait for the claim process to finish. This level of greed and disrespect is unheard of. Since we weren't able to choose the towing company in this kind of situation, everyone who is able to DO NOT do business with this company, there is plenty of respectable towing companies out there. The bill should speak more than words. In addition, when the storage was paid up to date for the truck, and the trailer is not drivable, this company is threatening that they will put a lien on the truck they released with the full payment at the time. Also, we did not choose this company. Our company was struck by another truck.
