This is for the Barber shop.Worst haircut I have received in a while.Asked for a medium fade with a number one on the sides. Didn't get a number one.Didn't clean up around my ears or my neck.I will no longer be getting my haircut here because they are lazy and put no effort into it.I guess they have low standards for barbers at the NEX.I would advise everyone to get your haircut somewhere else.

The overall staff of this location are amazing, what ruins it is the barber shop. These barbers don’t seem to know what they are doing, and have repeatedly messed up on people’s hair. Asked for a medium-low skin fade, received almost a high-and-tight. If you are in need of a haircut, go off base, as this place will ruin your hair without a single care in the world. Worst $20 I’ve spent.

Usually a good place, but I previously went to pick up a patch for one of my uniforms and they usually let me pick it up with my ID but when I tried one day they gave me attitude. Two of the employees tried to call a chief back to yell at me for not having my ticket and at first refused to give me what I paid for, I was pretty cool about it though because I should’ve just had my ticket, but I feel like she got mad I made her do her job and ended up giving me it anyways. I’d go here less if it wasn’t the only store here.

You will need a non expired military ID in order to make any purchases here. I personally found everything I needed, and my wife got really excited over some deals on some of the stuff she wanted. Really good hygiene selection.

I always eat at subway whenever I get a chance after a workout. I'm so disappointed at this location when I ordered a 6" rotisserie chicken. The girl server gave me a scoop of chicken and the scoop was only half full. She then proceeded to ask me what kind of cheese I want...I wanted to just stop my order and leave. Unfortunately I was hungry. I ended up eating mostly bread.

My husband came in asked where the class six was. And the Chinese woman who checks Ids was very rude and didn't know what we were talking about , so my husband asked the lady at register 2. She was also very rude. She was worst than the lady who checked the i.ds. then when we walked back inside they were talking about us and giving us dirty looks. I had my 4 year old with me. Who acts like that. My husband has been in the army for 16 years now and we have never out of all the bases we've been too never been treated with that much disrespect. Also if you work for a military exchange you should know the name and terms for all the branches. Just my opinion.

Some staff members are rude, I understand a pandemic is happening but with the young sailors restricted to base liberty only, the staff could be more friendly. A barber also told a sailor if he didn’t want to get his haircut at the NEX he could go somewhere else, I thought he was very unprofessional to that sailor and rude.

Theres only like 1 good barber here, the rest are horrible, I think they got their license online, I know teenagers that can cut 100x better

Just graduated this weekend and it feels so weird to be back to the civilian world. My first stop was the Nex so I could buy an iPhone. Erik the guy at the electronics help both my friend and I to get what we wanted. Thank you so much sir!

Fast food area unstat. DunkenDonut didn't not acknowledge the counter and was only taking orders from the drive thru. After 5 minutes waiting we left will never return to them again. They need to be removed.

This NEX is a pleasant place to shop. I go there often to eat, make quick purchases, and get haircuts. It’s a reliable and convenient store and has quality clothing, electronics, shoes, and accessories that make browsing and/or shopping enjoyable.Now, the reason I give this particular NEX a 4 star and not a 5 is due to a recent experience I had there. I received a haircut and though the lady who cut my hair did a satisfactory job, I was made uncomfortable and annoyed by the comments and questions she made regarding my hair (hinting at its texture) and the rough and frustrated manner in which she cut my hair. I hope this was just a one-time thing as I have enjoyed being a customer to this particular NEX.

I called the Uniform Shop for prices of dress blue shoulder boards, khaki hat ranks and khaki collar insignia. The woman was helpful, gracious and very personable. Her attitude made me glad I had called!

Nice, clean food court. Courteous staff throughout. Clean store with a great selection and food tailors who work quickly. Good selection of Marine uniform items as well, and a built in GNC.

I went to return a TV that i got it came right out of the box and had a puncture in the upper right hand corner. The manager said because the box had no damage and not all the packing was there they cant take it back. But all the pieces are there so why wouldnt they take it back. So i was hoping to get some kind of money because there are pieces that i guaruntee they will reuse and make more money off of. In my experience i feel robbed because i didnt get anything back for the TV. I will never buy anything expensive from there again and I definately will not advise anybody to go there.

Hours are terrible, prices are outrageous and the staff are rude, especially at the checkout line where you get cold medications. They say mean comments to you thinking that you are all snot nosed A schoolers. I'm not.

No retirees, dependents, or veterans allowed. I understand the veterans, retirees, and some dependents. But not allowing a dependent of an active duty in, seriously! Yes, make dependents go out in town in a non-controlled environment to get what they need and increase our chances of getting covid. Dependent gets covid and guess what happens. I m no scientist but it increases the chances of service members getting covid. Dependent gets covid, exposure to sponsor, sponsor could expose it further to fellow co-workers. Now you got a whole department closed because they are waiting on their test results. Smart, real smart!

NEX used to a place to find bargains. Now it's just as overpriced as many stores. And the difference between the prices at the main exchange and this one is shameful. They're really sticking it to the students.

Vegans can shop here due to the small section dedicated to organic, health foods. However, beware of non vegan foods mixed in with the vegan stuff.

Everything’s fine except for the hair cuts, the old lady Stephane was rude,rough and did not listen to what I asked for, I asked for a trim in the top and she cut half of my hair off and now I look like a damn egg

This little store packs a hefty punch with all your necessities from snacks, hygeine products, accessories, clothing, shoes, uniforms, electronics, health care, nutrition, and more. Drycleaners, barbers and food places adjacent as well as gas station. Friendly employees, clean environment, and plenty of parking.

You will have a good idea what is in the store by its name. Things that a student sailor would need to make it through school and start off is new Navy life.
