Central Bark did a fantastic job grooming my dog, Belle. She looks great and no longer has Grinch feet! She did really well and I think she liked going there. We will go back again when she needs a trim. Staff is friendly and great with the dogs.

I can't say enough great things about Central Bark Grayslake! Our terrier mix, Charlotte, is always a happy girl with tail wagging when we drop her off. It's clear the team at Central Bark is great with the dogs. They are professional and friendly, and I love the updates on how the day went, too. I can't picture taking her to anywhere else that I can trust as much as their team.

When we returned with our puppy for her first day of daycare, the staff kindly asked about our previous dog who had recently passed away and shared our sadness of his loss. It’s obvious the staff truly loves the dogs in their care. Our new pup was looked after attentively on her first day, introducing her to the environment, people, and dogs based on her level of readiness. We received a midday report and an end of day report card to let us know about her experience. Our puppy immediately took to all the handlers and will benefit from the socialization with other dogs. She came home happy and tired and is excited for her next visits!

I take my dog Chase to Central BARK for bath/nail trim every 8 weeks. I have always received very good service and Chase always looks good when I pick him up. Chase is happy when going there and not scared at all. I will continue to take him there. I give Central Bark 5 stars for service, cleanliness, and friendliness.Mike Thompson

My dog loves coming here! After she was attacked on one of our walks, I didn’t think she would be comfortable around other dogs and strangers again. But this Central Bark location has been a Godsend! My dog has come out of her shell and I have the staff to thank for that. When I’ve gone out of town and my dog is staying with them, Holiday (manager) gave me her card and told me I could contact her if I wanted to check in on my dog. They are not only friendly here, but they take the time to get to know every dog, which is a whole new level of customer service.UPDATE: While the staff at Central Bark has been lovely, the owner is quite dismissive and doesn't care about loyal customers or his business in general. I have been asking to speak with him for over a month with ZERO response. I find that extremely rude (and dumb from a business perspective). By not engaging or offering a simple reply, he is making regular loyal customers feel disrespected and unappreciated. Plus, his non-reply makes the statement that he only cares for his bottom line, not for his staff, and not for the humans or canines that he is offering a service to. Not only did he up the prices after a lengthy remodel, but he also made some truly awful business decisions that are throwing his business down the drain. I have offered to help him save his business from going under, but still no response. I truly feel awful for the staff, who are genuinely caring and are enthusiastic about what they do. Because of the owners apathy and unwillingness to show gratitude to his clientele, many of us regular loyal clients are being forced to find another doggy daycare facility that actually shows appreciation for their business. I am removing 4 stars in reply to the owners actions.

Recently moved to the area when we brought our little guy in for a grooming. We were very happy with the way he turned out and the staff was very nice and gave exactly what we asked for. Will definitely be returning soon. The place was undergoing some construction last time we were in there so it will be interesting to see the improvements when we return.

Central Bark Grayslake is the very best in dog care. I’ve had the best experience for many years with both their grooming and daycare services. My pitbull absolutely loves going there and interacting with their friendly and caring staff. The remodeled facilities are impressive and I can’t recommend their services enough!

Willow loves Central Bark, she can play with another Great Dane. She may be big, but she is gentle. I think her size is intimidating to some dogs, so another Great Dane is perfect. They take amazing care of her. Thank you.

I’ve been taking our rescue here for nearly 2 years and am so satisfied with his care while there. Ali has really come out of his shell and blossomed. The staff takes great care of the dogs and he is worn out from play when he gets home. They even took him on very (same day) short notice for a 2 day sleepover when I had to go into the hospital to deliver my son; which my husband and I were so thankful for. Their booking system is really easy to use and they provide awesome photos of your pup to view on their Facebook page. Central Bark is highly recommended!

Me and my puppy love Central Bark! The staff welcomes her with such love and care. Every dog I see coming out of the facility is happy. My dog hates car rides but Central Bark gets her excited to leave home! I’ve done multiple sleepovers for my dog there and never once have had any issues with her upon picking her up. I also love that they post pictures on Facebook so while I’m away, I can see what my dog did that day. They’re super friendly, and they also do a great job with grooming as well. I just wish they were open on Sundays, but I understand. Otherwise I have no complaints!

What a great place to bring your pet. I just love how we walk in the door and they greet our dog by name and seem genuinely excited to see him. Our Marley always gets super excited as we pull down their street and up to the building! I would definitely recommend Central Bark!

Wow. I don’t even know where to begin. Central Bark has been all my dogs know since they were puppies, and they still are only one. We’ve been using them for a little over a year now, and we love it. They still get SUPER excited when we pulled into the parking lot, and as soon as we get inside they are ready to go play always. Everyone is so nice, friendly, awesome, kind, and loves our two little girls. I love how the staff really connects with you, and gets to know you and your dog. They treat each dog if it was their own. Every time we get home they are sleeping within 30 minutes or less. The girls love seeing their friends a few times a week! Pebbles and Stormy say thank you for always taking such good care of me, we love you!
