Don't mind the quarter for the cart, always end up with free bags. Prices are reasonable. Just wish they where open a little later. Sometimes it's hard to make it because I work so late. Just can't find the time sometimes.

Firstly, their product selection is improving immensely (decent produce options). Recently, I had a bad experience with a T-bone steak purchase (meat went bad after only one day), and when I came back to the store they were willing to swap it out with very little push back. I’m worried that maybe the refrigerators are not cold enough to keep the meat fresh until the “sell by” date, but idk exactly why it went bad faster than expected. Overall good market, but I’ll be more careful next time I buy fresh meat. 👍🏻

I was surprised that there were a whole lot of empty shelves and freezers. It was like what's going on. I didn't find everything I wanted but I am okay with that, because when other stores were having issues getting deliveries that was not the case for SavALot.Great prices, well stocked with products, clean and organized, smells good 👍

Don’t use this place for the Amazon hub locker. They will randomly be closed for “inventory” during normal business hours and you won’t be able to get your packages from the locker. Will be reporting to Amazon as well.

Cheap and convenient, they generally have what I need as far as basics. The checkout line can back up quite a bit at times, but generally more during the evening hours. Decent grocery selection, though I do my produce shopping elsewhere, (sorry guys, just being honest).

I enjoy the hometown shopping experience at Save A Lot, Granite City, Illinois. It has a wide variety of produce and products which are easily excess for your personal choosing. The staff members are polite, courteous, and well informed on locating certain items on your grocery list. When at checkout, you may even encounter my favorite representative "Cinderella". Thank You, A+++ for Save A Lot!

My Daughter and I have never been treated so rude by a manager in all our shopping lives. The total was 254.71 my daughter was 15.71 short. So as I was trying to pay the remaining balance the Manager grab and snatch our cart. She had no reason what so ever to even touch our groceries. Because we had our own insulated groceries bags with the food already in them. She was trying to take our bags as if we were stealing them. How Embarrassing!!!!!!! Apparently she needs some kind of mental help. Or maybe Drug tested. Bellemore Shopping Center in Granite City Illinois. Please be careful when trying to pay for your groceries the check out. Make sure you have back up.

Friendly and helpful staff. Their meat prices are more expensive than any of the other grocery stores in town. I know things have gotten more expensive with covid bring here but $16 for 2lbs of hamburger! Yikes!

I have shopped at SAL for over 20 years. The store keeps improving it's inventory. I love the meat department. There is always good deals. The people who work there are kind and helpful. Great place to shop.

This is an edit on my Review...Re:There food always spoils quickly....I apologise for my first review, after coming back to read the return response I also read some other reviews and was for a moment confused by most being rated so high. I went back to find that it was a different location that I was referring to(oopsi+poo)? Other than meat prices being a bit high, my experience at the store was went well and the staff was friendly & courteous. The store I was referring to is in Caseyville don't go there I don't care how fresh the food looks it will be wilting and/or smelling bad the next day...

Actually I was along for the ride I sat in the car however my mother seemed satisfied she got everything she needed. The area where the store was it was pleasant and I love that I eyewitness a mother scolding her kids(spare the rod and spoil the child) the way I like it( enough but not too much) it was hilarious I laughed so hard cuz they was acting a fool. So yeah it was a nice trip today until next time ✌👊👋it was a beautiful day in the neighborhood could you be mine won't you be my neighbor😂😅👍.

I like this store a lot. It's nice n clean. Unfortunately not a lot of items. Not much choice of each item. Some prices are really good. Others Aldi's and Ruler has them beat. Also a little hassle that they have paid carts now but they are outside. In rain or wind n snow not good for especially handicapped like me. I like how ruler has them inside. Aldi is outside but at least under a covered area

Only my second time in the store. Everything seemed organized and neat. Good place to find some bargains. I especially like the broader variety of juices from Mexico. Good stuff there#

I am always happy to go to your store except for today never seen this cashier before she has blond hair I think her name was moni something like that she was hateful to a man because he could not decide how many bags he wanted. She told some tall black girl the work there that he was holding the line up there was one person back he and the gentleman act like he was ok with it. Then I came along she said you can't take that cart the one I have grocery in which I always take to my car and unload in my trunk into a box she was very up set with me next time she cashier and mean to me or anyone else I will not stop in your store again and I will tell everyone. Really hate to not shop with your store but will not shop were some one very hateful

Newly remodeled looks nice, with the competition being sold they should see a nice uptick in sales. Cashier was quick and courteous, the only issue I had was the panhandler in the lobby of the store.

It has potato chips in his BBQ and has honey mustard and his ranch in the house BBQ sauce and has it has it has it has it has Mom and Dad's that you can sell just for $1.99 a piece just for $1.99 you can buy a mom and dad okay so there is some potato chips potato chips there's some ranch chips there's some frigerators and some cold beers that and there's wine that you can buy and there's whiskey there's beer lime blueberry beer raspberry beer blackberry beer there's all sorts of beers all over the world so only one 55 a dollar for one beer only $1.55 for one beer so two dollars and 55 cents is two beer you can buy like anything you want in schnucks you have to take everything from schnucks and take it to shop and find where everything you want and save a lot there's so many things that you can buy you can buy a TV you can buy Xbox play you can buy PS4 you can buy Xbox you can buy Xbox series x you can buy Xbox series s you can buy Xbox series alpha x you can buy a PlayStation 4 pro you can buy a PS5 you can buy a ps6 you can buy a alpha Xbox addiction controller which only costs $10.99 for one are those controllers if you're a fan of Xbox addictions when you were younger and you didn't get to see them anymore well they're there you can get a Xbox controller made out of Xbox addictions okay guys I'll see you in the next review in the next one is going to be so dang long is my language okay guys I'll see you in the next review bye

I'd say 3 1/2 stars, I shop here alot bc its cheaper then schnucks but the wait in line is terrible. I was there last weekend and I waited at the checkout behind another person for over 5 minutes for someone to show up. Noone in sight. The line grows quickly and usually only 1 person checking out. I usually wait longer in line then i do shopping.

Prices are cheaper than Schnucks that's for sure!... the rain in giving 3 stars is there's ALWAYS paper or things in the store that's had stayed there for like 3 or 4 days... but there is NO ANTIBACTERIAL WIPES since the wrote dispenser has been out. And there's a kiosk there to mention things & I've mentioned it that there is one of their employees that I felt went far & beyond their job duties in hopes of them giving her some type of recognition.But most of the time you'll not see NOT ONE EMPLOYEE smile or anything...& the last time I was in theremy grand daughter was talking with the cashier and was asking about the chain (for the quarters).. long story short..My grand daughter asked towards the end.. "who's is this cart?" As she asked.... she touched the cart and it moved..... the worker said.."It's mine! (.)".... I was SHOCKED at how she answered het in that tone with the look on her face.... oh boy how I wanted to say something but I didn't...I send the xtra has going to aldi's or I go to Ruler's now....I might try going back but if I SEE NO antibacterial woes.. I'm turning around & I won't go in... no sanitizer just makes me wonder how clean their hands are especially if they don't care about their customers contacting a cold or flu.... especially if it is the season for the cold's & flu that's not ur common cold & stuff.

It’s really pathetic that they wanna sell Freezer burnt green beans. Pathetic! I feel like I’m living in a Third World country with these green beans! I wonder if they sell all expired and bad food? Buyers beware

Actually it was a good thing when they stayed open late, but now tonight I drove in from Collinsville and it was closed already ..... The sign says 12 and it's just now 11:30. THANKS TO YOU I WASTED MY GAS GETTING HERE FOR NOTHING

Lower prices on many items, however, just like all grocery stores, you have to watch the prices. Friendly checker. But you must bring your own bags and load them.
