Went to the newer Goodwill location in Granite City. Walked in and walked out. Smells like pee! Not just a little bit, but it's terrible! I know the smell of a normal thrift store, but something needs to be done here!

No sign on door stating credit card machine down (all day), would only hold items for 10-15 minutes for me to go to the bank. $57 worth of items I didn't purchase. Won't be going to any Goodwill again because of this experience.

Would give it 5 stars but it smells bad in there but I belive its the best place in granite to get name brand clothes dirt cheap some of them never worn.

The first time I went there the staff was very nice and helpful.But my second visit was a nightmare! I used a gift card i got for Xmas. The whole amount of my things was not on my card so I asked them to swipe it again and she tells me they don't take gift cards. And the guy checking me out K.Does not need to be working with the public! He acted like it was just miserable job he's ever had. No eye contact..just an a*s! And to bad, cause the first visit very nice. Won't be going back to this one!

I think it's sad that they put such high prices on there stuff. I understand they have to keep the store running but that stuff is donated. When it's not a name brand item and it cost as much as it would be in the store just sad. Plus the workers that were there today not so nice. If you don't like your job go get another one please so you're not mean to the customers if you don't want to deal with customers go get a job that don't deal with customers.

They should lower prices to benefit the under middle class. It's all profit for goodwill. Help the people of our town. We can hardly afford to come there for my kids clothes.

I liked this store a lot & I will definitely be back. Cons..the wares & shoes were over priced, I didnt see the sale color posted at the door..I asked & found out. Pros..the store was clean & organized, had a lot of clothes, cashier was friendly & the line moved quickly. I worked for GW a number of years & worked at multiple stores...so I know certain things to look for...this 1 is a good one!

I think the prices are way too expensive for a Goodwill. You get the merchandise free, seems you could pass that savings onto your customers. I like shopping for unique things, but I refuse to pay top dollar for clothing.. after all, I'm shopping at the Goodwill because I don't have a lot of money to work with.Pass on the savings!!

I had a very pleasant visit today. I went through the donations drive-thru. I wanted to donate a few things. Hopefully the donation help someone as well as help me with my taxes. The customer service was great. When I drove up the gentleman came out with a big blue rolling cart. I placed everything and he gave me a receipt.

Friendly workers! They have a fair amount of books right now! Downside is not their fault: smells like weed inside! Could be a lot of shoppers smell like weed or the products do. My books had no odor however :) A good cause to support so I pushed thru the smell.

Usually I enjoy my trips to Goodwill, and now with the recent update to the store (nothing major) it's a little more modern. The atmosphere is typically friendly although the staff can seem uptight. They've also upped their prices (don't let them tell you differently) but do make a great option for affordable clothing.

The employee I talked to was amazing and let me know to go she ate on a price for some small Furniture I was needing. They had a nice inventory so I was able to find about everything I was looking for. I wish they would organize the clothes by size so that it's not so difficult if you want to look through the clothes

I go to a lot of the goodwills in the area and this has been by far the nicest. All the clothing was organized by size and style it was all hung up neatly and in their own spots. There was a man at the door where we done on cars as everyone put them in there and everyone had their face masks on guess that did not have them up all the way we're being reminded to wear them properly. I would recommend this Goodwill to anyone check it out for yourself

Just trying to rip off the poor now and days. They are selling dollar tree items for $2-4? Lmfao they are from dollar tree 🤦‍♂️. You can buy them new for a dollar!!! They are trying to charge more than new price on so many things there it’s sad.

By far my favorite goodwill in the area! They don’t over price their stuff; they have a nice system so they don’t write in marker on their items; and the staff is always super friendly! Before I had my baby, I went in several times a week & always had a pleasant experience!

Well I love good will besides the fact you can buy stuff that's brand new still in boxes that people decided they didn't want for cheap, but also because everyone who is an employee there are cheerful, friendly, outgoing, very helpful and reliable.also they let you test what you are buying so you know it will work. Also they have good customer service on site advise

How could a retail store not carry bags. Or atleast offer to sell them to you like aldi's and Ruler foods? Or sell reusable bags? Or even take donations of the plastic store bags like most grocery stores do? This is a goodwill, and they are not hurting for money. Back home they all have bags. So every time I shop here I forget not to bring a bag like a dummy and in the bruising have to go there by the time I get home try to throw them in a stroller or in a bag that you already had and even went to neighboring businesses and grab bags from them that's ridiculous. Other than that it's always packed and usually good deals. But don't forget to bring your bags to carry your stuff home.

Usually a good place to shop but here lately some of the workers are going way to overboard with their job titles the one heavy set blonde lady is as rude as they come and they wanna make the customers follow the mask guidelines by having it over your mouth and nose all the while the workers hardly have their noses covered and rhe people in the back dont even wear them

Not many discounts here except on the furniture once in awhile occasionally you find very nice clothing there Salvation Army is a much better place the employee's are nicer Salvation Army gives more daily discounts and it is close to the Goodwill store so most people go to the Salvation Army that are from around here plus Salvation Army does more for people than Goodwill just my opinion

Went here to look for punk shirts for my sons pink out day for school and it was just nasty. There were roaches crawling on the floors. I would give 0 stars if possible.

I was able to find myself pants. They have a limited selection of men's jeans so unfortunately I had to go to the Goodwill store in Glen Carbon. My son was able to find a nice belt. I also found some cute earrings at the Granite City store.

Taking my grandkids on an unexpected camping trip...all that was packed was nice clothes and no swimwear. Stopped in good will and was able to find everything needed to clothes the kids for 2days and one night for under 20 .. That was a nice surprise !!

You can find awesome stuff at cheap prices.Too bad they don't sort their clothes by size like saver's. It saves time and you don't have to touch every dang item on the rack.
