I ADORE any Dollar Tree. Who wouldn't? Okay, okay, the whole, "let's change our prices to $1.25 & then sell items that are $5, $10, & maybe even $15" is a good idea but also maybe a little bit irritating. Dollar Tree was the ONLY "dollar store" to actually sell items for only...... ONE DOLLAR. Not including the 10 cents for tax. No biggie! But now they don't sell anything for just a $1 and every 4th item, u might as well add an extra $1 to your total because of the tax being $0.25! So, I'm not too happy with this whole conforming thing Dollar tree has done but I can say this, I still love this place, they HAVE DEFINITELY upped their items and the quality of them, and the variety of things in this store is remarkable. Still a die hard Dollar Tree fan and wouldn't have it any other way!

I went here yesterday looking for some items and the shelves are EMPTY! Ok.. so When will the new store open? Nothing is posted anywhere! I asked the cashier and no one nows! It's been going on for 4 months now. Plz open soon!

this Dollar tree is freaking awesomeness... lol it's massive for a Dollar tree like an old grocery store or something I guess there's room to ride go-karts in here haha it's wide aisles no crowding there's probably enough with for three cards to go through sounds stupid but it's not LOL the manager and the employees were friendly she even came out and pet the dog. and with the big size there's more inventory than some of the other Dollar trees it's almost cool enough to forget that the price went up to $1.25 almost ... lol

I use to love going in and browsing this location. They always had more merchandise then others. Now they don't have much of a selection. The store inside and out is a complete eye sore. If the manager isn't going to enforce her staff to clean corporate needs to step in, It is completely disgusting. As an employee you shouldn't gossip about your customers no matter how unruly they are. They are the ones paying for your paycheck. Corporate step in fast!!!

They have a very large store with a lot more selection that you'd have thought beforehand. The staff were all kind and there were no lines to check out. I'd absolutely recommend going, especially if you've not been in to one in a long time. Great for stocking stuffers.

The same item's that were once a buck is now a buck twenty five. They do have new merchandise as well that is a steal of a deal for the now $1.25 as well as items for up to $10.00. I like the new options they have stocked the store with I just think that the items they have always had for $1 should have remained for a $1.

Its little crowded in there with no room to really get through the aisles because of all the stuff in the way they are not very organized. Very clustered! Also for it to be a DOLLAR General store your prices on things are a little to high well ALOT of your items there are way over priced for the quality of the product your getting its not worth what we are paying for by far. It suppose to be a $59432343 a family is suppose to save money but it's costing us more to shop here then our local Wal-mart store it's cheaper on ALOT of things that your store is higher in cost to buy! Now there's something wrong with that don't you think for real! Oh need to fix this 100% it's not right or fair for your customers to be doing so ! Please adjust your prices on all your inventory like all your off brand items, shoes,clothes and cleaning supply items and laundry items and your food items and your Toys!! Clothes and Toys and washing and cleaning products are really a must it really needs to really come down on the prices for real 100% true fact !

Not nearly as much merchandise as there used to be. Still good for picking up cleaning supplies, and household items. Landlord really needs to fix the roof. All in all it's okay but definitely not what it once was.

Most employees are decent n nice. The store is by far better then the ones by my house. I live over the bridge in Missouri n drive over there to shop. Not always stocked well tho. Is mostly clean n pretty neat in store. Handicap parking is a long ways from store tho. That not so great. I have breathing issues at times n that would help to be much closer

Good deals, close by when in granite city, nice staff, lot of first come first serve deals. Deal of the weeks,they change weekly. Food,drinks,containers, bowls,Toilet Paper, Kleenex, party supplies, hallmark cards, etc. Roof leaks but doesn't effect the items, friendly staff

I love Dollar Tree. Such a unique place. I would have given it 5 stars, but it wasn't as well stocked as used to be. They need to move to a better building too. There's buckets all over because the roof leaks.

Dollar Tree is one of my favorites....I go there to get all kinds of stuff...Everything is a Dollar You can't beat that anywhere...Plus they get new items all the time. My favorite is the food that you can put in the Microwave..perfect for people on the go traveling..that don't want to spend a fortune a the Fast food restaurants...

I asked the older lady where the Christmas hooks were while she was standing at the checkout. Her response was "there right I er there you can't miss them." She never pointed me in a direction and I never found them.

The price is great I hate the people who work there and their bathrooms are extremely and I mean extremely unsanitary. I feel like they should have to at least at the least try and keep the paper towels refilled if not at least keep soap in there I literally had to wash my hands with sanitizer okay I hated it. Goodbye Dollar Tree. I was only there to get supplies for my birthday. But turns out they have a horrible selection for presents and anything else I needed.I used to love and I mean love Dollar Tree!! But the really need to touch up the stuff there. I thought I was going to lose my mind

I went there for Christmas gift bags. They weren't on display for sale yet. The Granite City store has a big selection of gift bags for any occasion. I'm sure the Christmas bags will be there soon. They do have a large selection of Christmas items for sale now.

I was in the Dollar Tree store in Granite City on Friday, November 22, 2013 to purchase a $20.00 gift card for my mother's birthday.After attempting to make the purchase, the clerk said that the system was down.I understand that glitches can happen during electronic transactions, so no big deal.However, the clerk neglected to clear out the register, and the items the next person in line purchased was debited from my debit card.I didn't realize that until I returned home that evening and reviewed my bank account and saw that I had a debit of $19.50 on my account which didn't make sense to me if I was attempting to purchase a $20.00 gift card.I called Dollar Tree customer support to inform then of the error and also sent them an email.The Dollar Tree customer support system is terrible because they seem like they do not really care because the woman I spoke to, Connie, informed me that it would be 1 to 2 weeks before I would receive a credit to my debit card which is totally unacceptable to me.If it were she herself or one of her family members, I am almost positive the results would be different.The person in charge of the E-Mail system also sent a screen shot to me of the WRONG transaction, which really burnt me up.She said she even called the store to verify the transaction, which makes no sense to me since the manager was not present to witness what I had purchased.Anyway, I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THE DOLLAR TREE STORE AT THIS TIME!Tim Carney

Dollar Trees come in all shapes and sizes. Why do I know this? Because I'm pretty much been to all of them in this area. This Dollar Tree in Granite City is absolutely huge. It is like the Walmart Supercenter of Dollar Tree, and because it has more space than other stores, it is I want to carry more product in other stores and of course greater quantities of products that are hard to find. The staff at this location is generally friendly and helpful and it seems always well stock.

Great place to shop, has some name brand items. Lots of products to get for one dollar and some same products at other stores for much more. Very good choices and most items are $1.25 🙂

Mon., 26 Feb 18Boy!!! I wish I had $1000.00 every time I go to a Dollar Tree Store.They have such G-R-E-A-T DEALS!!!I just don't know how they do it, give the Public, the John Q. Public's, such G-R-E-A-T DEALS!!!!!!!!A DOLLAR, EVERYTHING A DOLLAR!!!!!!!!I would buy or donate Canned Foods, non-perishables, to local Food Pantries, Churches, and the like.AND TURN A PROFIT EVERY TIME!!!!!!!
