I don't want to sound like a Karen, but I was just in there while waiting on laundry, to get my normal strawberry wafers and to grab up some body wash because I just ran out. When I went in, I got my stuff then looked around for a little bit. As I was making my way back up to the front, I started hearing the cashier, and two other ladies talking about people getting caught shop lifting and stuffing stuff into their purses or what not. When I got in line, they got kinda quiet and when it was my turn, I received some pretty cold shoulders, one word answers even though I too was trying to make some conversation about the season and just glaring eyes...Did they think I was shop lifting too?? I don't have a "big purse" (something that was mentioned in the convo)and the only reason I looked back in the store was just to see what they had, out of boredom. They must actually have a bad amount of clientele that they just assume badly of normal people coming and shopping. Anyway, never going there again. If you are a patron, make sure you get your stuff and imeddiantly get out, or else!!

I stooped going here about three years ago. Everything is disorganized, place is dirty, isles are small and cluttered, you will wait forever to be checked out. As soon as you put your car on park, you have an uneasy feeling. The review pictures that come up with this location must have been uploaded by the corporate office LOL. Definitely not what this place looks like.

Please corporate come clean up this store. The place is a disaster. The DG brand nutritional drinks that I purchased are expired, we found that out after one made my son sick.

I’m pregnant as hell and they just denied me use of their bathroom, so I asked if they knew one nearby and they just ignored me. It’s really something to deny ppl the use of restrooms, I wasn’t even carrying a purse,

The assistant manager Anthony is without a doubt one of the most polite and respectful people I've seen working with the public in a very long time. I asked him about it and he said everyone says that. Not going to lie. There's a dollar general closer to my house than this one, but I will definitely drive a little bit further to have a positive experience when I shop. Thank Anthony.

Went into Nameoki Dollar General last week and was shocked to see how nice everything looked. So happy to see the shelves full and in order. I told the manager how I had complained in the online survey but had never heard anything back. When I got home I sent out text to as many people I knew who stop shopping there to go see the changes that have been made. Thanks to all the staff for all the hard work.

I pulled into parking lot in front of store at 9:43pm. Hours say they are open until 10pm. The “young lady” inside, sees my headlights and hurries to the front door to lock it. She then looks at me and shakes her head “no”. Sooo…does the store close at 9:43pm now, or…I needed 1 thing and would of been outta there in 2 minutes.#DoYourJob#1stNegativeReviewofMyLife

I am making a unbiased review (having recently worked there for a few weeks no longer employed which has no leaning upon this review. ) I can say they are definitely attempting to get better ,but there is still a lacking in products on the shelves and regardless of the major attempts to keep the store stocked to a level that would provide a enjoyable and convenient shopping experience there is still a long way to go .bare shelves and confusion at times as to what products they actually carry ,the new management and staff has turned the store around for the better compared to the last time I had reviewed this store around 2 years ago .the clutter is gone which is a huge plus but still with both a store in Madison and on Poontoon road if you are looking to do any kind of one stop shopping this is not that place yet .. will they get there .I can hope so ..It's definitely a improvement over the last time I had reviewed this store .

When you get a sale price that doesn't come with what you have in your basket twice do you complain or not? I did and got told to sit it an stand there an wait for someone with the knowage how to handle it, then i get told to hold my speach. Once is enouh befre i jold my speech.

I'm giving it five stars because the employees are very helpful. The store needs to be cleaned and yes, it seems disorganized. That is because they can't get one shipment put away before another shipment comes in. The prices are great.

Store is very cluttered and unorganized.. Was there the day after Thanksgiving and store was poorly staffed. One person on the register, because the other employee decided to go on there break while the line wrapped down aisles.. Cashier was very rude and definitely did not know store policies.. I.e. signs posted in clothes buy one get one 50% off.. Argued with gentleman she could not honor it because the sale had ended.. I let her know that she had to honor it because it was still posted. Her response was " it will make your wait longer".. I laughed and told her oh well whats another few min with the 20 I have already been here.

I TOTALLY just LOVE that this store has really picked back up as far as cleanliness, also being able to walk through the store and not only can I walk down every isle now without something in the way or hanging out from the shelves....... the items are always there in stock unless it didn't come in, we actually HAVE "FRIENDLY NICE WORKERS HERE NOW THAT GREET YOU (EVERY) TIME YOU WAGON THROUGH THE DOOR)...... and the seasonal selection are getting so much better....Halloween was so AWESOME this year!I'm just so glad how EVERYTHING has been made better for us customers...THANK YOU MANAGER'S & WORKERS, YOUR" ALL" GREATLY APPRECIATED!

The store is usually in chaos. If I don't trip on or, knock over something (sometimes before even entering the store) I buy a lottery ticket; happened once so, not much of a pattern on my part but ... Every single time. Stock is as likely to be in a pile on the floor as on the shelves; much of it is. However, once these people get to the register; they shine. Very friendly at the point of sale! Hygiene, appropriate conversational topics/language at work/on the floor, cleaning, stocking and, (guessing by the smell) policing the store, however, seem to be skills that are severely lacking in the staff. Sad.

My 2nd visit to this store. Will never go back! First of all the manager was a very rude girl! My girlfriend has shopped there for many many years and said she wont go back either. No assistance at all because all she did was stare at her phone. Then when i left she kept staring at me. Im telling everyone i know. This is horrible and rude.

My rating is really like 1/4 star. I usually avoid this place like the plague, but maybe 4 months ago it got cleaned up so good i thought i was dreaming. I complimented the new manager on the amazing job he did. Fast forward 1 whole month and the place is worse then it was before. Ive also witnessed a man claiming to be the manager, tell a customer there was " nothimg he could do" about a bag left. I told the woman they should run back their cameras for the time stamp on her reciept and he flat out said he couldnt do that. I told her to call Corp bc they CAN, he was just a lazy bum.

Friendly cashiers but a couple of customers acted like it was a private place and that us other customers weren't supposed to be there..... My theory is if you act like you're the only person that should be in the store, maybe consider ordering online so other people won't be so inconsiderate and shop when you do.... We wouldn't want to make you think that we can just walk into Dollar General anytime we please or worse yet actually thinking our money is as good as yours.... So do yourself a favor and shop online!!! That way we won't disturb you and get in your way of buying that $5 pack of toilet paper....

This store is overly clustered with displays. When I inquired about a unmarked price a tall dark haired cashier was rude and then had his nerve to talk about entitled "old people" as I walked away. SMDH. How about just plain RUDE staff.

This store is trashed! There are boxes & loading carts filled everywhere. When I asked the worker why it looked like so bad, he seemed unaware of what I was taking about. After a extended talk (1-2mins) about the stores conditions... the worker said, “It could be worse, it could be real trash in the isles.” WOW

Its just ok. If you need and or want cheap stuff then this store is for you. I stopped in for charcoal lighter fluid. They don't sell it. They have charcoal if you need it. But no fluid to get it going 😆 lol.

With the new employees it's becoming a better store.i had an incident with one of the workers awhile back but I took my issue to a manager and the lil punk no longer works there ... So thanks to the good management team

Do not go to this place if you have conditions that cause you to not be able to wear a mask. There is no law in place as far as mask go. I will be contacting the health department in the morning along with the store manager. Tonight's key holder even went to the point of lying saying you have to wear a mask to enter into Wal-Mart. You legally can not make anyone wear a mask.

The place is nasty cluttered and the employees are rude. I have a book bag of a purse. They tell me after I walked in and they saw me and then the girl comes and finds me and says I’m supposed to leave my book bag at the front of the store. I have money I work. I let them see inside my bag. Never will I go there again.

I went to Dollar General cause their affordable an they have everything i needed without me going to this store or that store, they have it all!!! The workers are really nice wen ever i cant find something i just go to them an they assist me im just glad we have one close by

Best one closest to me. Clean. Friendly staff. I travel from Missouri to here. All by me are nasty with nasty staff. Boxes everywhere along with dirt n NEVER organized. This one is inviting n organized. I will be back

I keep saying I am go back. But for sure I not anymore. Every time I going in there I can get thru the store but all the empty box and all the stuff needed on shelf. Want to look around at things bit you couldn't even getting down the aisles. I am so done.

I feel sorry for the people working there.... In my opinion. It's poor management of a super busy store. Still running on skeleton crew!! New faces every time I go there. Sad.
