We cannot say enough wonderful things about The Barn III as patrons to their dinner theatre and as a couple who had their ceremony and reception at their beautiful venue. Abby and her team go above and beyond to make each event spectacular! We received so many compliments from our guests about the gorgeous venue, accommodating staff, delicious food and fun signature drinks. We couldn’t have been more blessed to have our special day here!Dietary restrictions: They are very accommodating to all guests’ dietary restrictions.

The space is amazing and comfortable. The staff were very personable and accommodating. The food was very good. The show was amazing. I laughed out loud so many times. The staff played multiple roles, server, actors, lighting, hosting, bartending. It was very impressive and I would highly recommend it for a fun night for families and friends.

Stop by for the terrific light display in December. Good old fashioned fun. Great selection of Christmas music that all ages can appreciate synchronized to an amazing light display. Be sure to tune into B.A.R.N. radio to hear the show and the special guests. PROTIP: don’t be that guy has thier car lights on during the show!

If you’re looking for the best wedding venue, this is it!We celebrated our wedding at the Barn III and we cannot even begin to put into words how amazing the staff was to work with. Starting with our first meeting/tour, the barn staff showed us so much hospitality and they were extremely organized. Throughout the planning process, they answered any and all questions we had.. and trust me I had a TON! They truly take care of everything from the setup to the tear down so you can just enjoy your day! The decorations were everything we dreamed of and more! They made all my wedding visions come to life and we didn’t have to lift a finger. We went into our wedding day knowing we were in good, capable hands and we were able to enjoy the night because we had confidence everything was taken care of.The food and drinks were AMAZING!! Your guests will not go hungry and so many complimented us on how delicious the food was. We seriously cannot recommend the Barn III enough. They took the stress out of the whole wedding planning process and helped to give us an unforgettable day!Naki, Gina, Abby, Rebekah, and Luann thank you all so much for EVERYTHING! You guys are the best!!

We went Saturday 02/10/24 with another couple. Everything was great, the venue was beautiful, everyone was very very nice, our waiter Troy Hamilton was great (we sat at table L4) !!, The bar manager (cant remember her name) was great as well. The food was very good, we didn't leave hungry that's for sure. The play was great, big shout out to "Abe" and of course "Troy" Mr Wasserman !! I cant say one thing negative about the Barn. It was well worth the Drive of almost 3 hours, and the cost for a great evening out.Great experience for sure, and we do plan on coming back.

I would highly recommend a dinner theater event at the Barn III to anyone looking to enjoy a night out with the family or as a way to celebrate a special occasion! This venue is a true gem with a long, storied history in the community. My family and I had a wonderful dinner theater experience here. We attended the "A Party to Murder" dinner theater. It was our first time here, and we felt very welcomed! The hospitality, service and entertainment were top notch! We were treated to crackers and fresh breads with butter and dipping sauces as appetizers. I opted for the broccoli salad for my first course. For our main courses we ordered the fried chicken and smoked pork loin meals that came with rosemary potatoes, creamy alfredo pasta and vegetables. All the food was great, and was included in the price of the ticket! Our desserts came during the well-timed intermission, and were delicious as well.During the meal, we had accidentally spilled water on one of our plates, and, without hesitation, the Barn staff offered to bring out a whole new plate of food for us!The "Matriarch of Murder" spicy, blood orange margarita was refreshing, and likely one of the best tasting margaritas I have ever had.The show began after we had finished our main course, which allowed us to devote our undivided attention to the show. I was captivated by the story unfolding on stage, and all the actors and actresses gave a wonderful performance! The value of the experience far exceeded the price of the ticket (which included dinner, dessert, some drink options, and the live show). I hope to attend more dinner theater events in the future!

I don't know how anyone can give this place less than 5 stars! You guys... The Barn Dinner theater is the best place to be. I love every moment there. The food is amazing and it's A LOT, and the performances are just a touch of what everyone needs. I recently went and saw everybody loves Opal and I'm telling you, the set, the acting, improv and story was so unique. I can't get enough of this place - I'd go to every show, if I could. Even the bathrooms are entertaining!

Just got just say we used to come all the time. Chicken taste like day-old. The shrimp was not butterfly it should said the type it was. Was a lot of money to get up and leave at intermission time. Table F4Mary would have been shocked. My daughter tried to surprises us. That none of us enjoyed ourselves. Sorry for bad reviews.

The Barn is back for the third time! The entertainment is fantastic! They are a dedicated troupe! All of the barn staff make you feel welcome like you're part of the family. The service is first rate! The entry is much nicer than before with much more room to wait for your party to be called and a fireplace featuring the star witness that helped bring them back in full to Goodfield. They have also installed an elevator, which makes the second level more handicap accessible. The buffet menu is slightly different than before. They still have fried chicken with a less crispy but more flavorful breading. The prime rib and baked potato remain as well as a wider veggie assortment and this time a seafood pasta. They kept the desserts: cheesecake, chocolate mousse, coconut cream pie and peanut butter pie. One thing I miss is the soup. However, the law has recently changed and the Barn III has a liquor license. The drink menu features themed drinks as well as an assortment of beer and wine. The Barn III is overall a unique experience for this area that sure makes for a nice evening of entertainment, food, friends and fun!

Such a wonderful, Theatrical experience as well as delicious food are combined with a suspenseful and very humorous play. The attention span at other audience at our table never wavered less than 100 per cent in trying to identify the who committed the crime. All actors were highly skilled with perfect timing! We definitely left want with the desire to attend again!

Beautiful new buildings, inside and out. Familiar in design if you had been a regular in the past, and simply lovely if you're coming for the first time. Cheers to all who worked so hard to rebirth this facility. Special kudos on the new restrooms. Not sure how but everything feels slightly roomier than it used to be too.The staff for the dinner theater are commendable in any venue, but they make the place work like clockwork. Gracious and efficient.Nana's Naughty Knickers was lighthearted fun, from beginning to end. So glad we could make it for this one.The dinner was not bad at all. Something for everyone. The prime rib is the favorite. Options for vegan and gluten-free diets as well. The liquor license makes adult beverages possible too. In fact it made me want to come back to enjoy more of the options. There is an arts/sports studio on the property now. An air-bnb in a nearby house. And numerous add-ons to recommend the new barn for weddings and other gatherings.Come on out to Goodfield to see this gem of a place!

The Barn III Dinner Theatre presents a wonderful Christmas Show. They have talented singers, musicians and actors. The food is much higher quality than you will find at most large venues.

Goodness gracious! The fact that I saw this place from a distance thanks to that light show was a good first impression. The lively staff and excellent actors, however, were solid sticking points: The Barn III is an outstanding little piece of Illinois, and from the bottom of my Manito heart, thank you all for your excellent hospitality.

It's been years since I have been here. All new construction, great ambiance, friendly staff, excellent food and a live play to boot. The beer cheese is the bomb.

The Barn is THE place for dinner theater in Central IL. Great food options, great drink selections, and top quality live entertainment at a price that won't break the bank. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and they really treat you like family. This place is a true gem in the Midwest.

My husband & I have been enjoying going to the Barn since 1980. Last night (10/20/23) we had the worst meal there ever! Our 2 friends & I had the parmesan crusted tilapia, with vegetables, mashed potatoes, and macaroni & cheese. Food was tasteless & barely warm. My husband had the fried chicken, which is usually very good, but it was tough & dried out as if it had been sitting for hours. Dessert was the same old thing, nothing special & just so so. How about some cake? The bright spot was "Clue", a very funny show with a very good, younger, newer cast. Kyle Madsen was exceptional in the lead! But for the price of dinner, we expect much fresher, tastier, hot food. We could have had a much better dinner at home. Plus they're even charging for tea & coffee now. PLEASE get a chef, & stop cutting corners on the food!

The venue is gorgeous, the entertainment is great, and the food is good. We went for the Pump Boys show, and enjoyed it very much.As for the food, it’s alright, BUT we didn’t go there for a superb gastronomic experience. We went for a fun night out with friends to see a good show and eat, and we had a blast. The actors did a great job, and owner Abby Reel has such an outgoing and genuinely friendly personality. We’ll definitely go back for more shows!
