I ran into this location because it's close to my grandson's bus stop. I went in to get some candy for his birthday party coming up. I saw that they had Christmas candy in clearance for 50% off so I pick up a few packs and went to self checkout. I rang it up and paid for it and realized afterwards the clearance price was not on there. So I waited in line to get the manager of the store to make the adjustments. She says the candy is only 25% off, I corrected her and said it has a sign clearly marking it 50% off. She argued it's 25% but I didn't have time to go back and forth with her because my grandson is due to get off the bus. She gives me her adjustment and I ran to get my grandson. The next day I go back to the store to see what the sign actually says with my receipt in hand. There is the manager stocking right next to the clearance candy I purchased the day before. I said to her here's the sign that was here yesterday showing 50% off, she says she remembers me and argued the sign yesterday showed 25% off. I called her a liar because she knew the sign was the same sign from the day before. I'm disappointed in myself for not walking back there to check on the day of the purchase but I'm even more upset with the fact that the manager of the store straight LIED to my face and stuck to the story!

Jennifer the manager at Melville il. Store is really gotten her store in order it's really nice to go in and you can find what ur looking for 98 percent of time ,but she doesn't have stock on floors and if she does it's not there long cause her or someone else is getting it put out .she's very helpful very friendly just a pleasure to see GOOD WORK done

This place often closes in the middle of the day or fail to open at all citing "labor shortages"When it is open, it's often difficult to navigate due to unstocked merchandise blocking the aisles.Self checkout is more likely than not dysfunctional and staff, try as they may, are being tasked far beyond their resources to deliver.Used to be a great store.Maybe it could be more competitive in the work force to attract quality labor.

I'm giving this store a 3 for the convenience to my home and because this store used to be awesome. Now the shelves are empty while their shipments sit in the middle of the isles still in boxes. This has gone on for over a year now, I get that employees are hard to come by these days but this has gotten ridiculous.

I love that this place exists so we don't have to drive all the way into town to get essentials. The Prairie Farm milk is so inexpensive here, too! It's so convenient. The girls are very nice here, although sometimes they are all the way in the back of the store so they do not necessarily hear when you are ready for checkout. It would be a good idea for them to have a bell a customer can ring when they are ready to check out so the girls were aware.

Got some fantastic deals while I was here. 10 cents for a calendar. And 50 cents for these plastic divided containers. Which are great. I hv several small things to store. I also ran into someone that I had not seen for a long time. I'm hoping we will meet up again real soon.

Stopped by to grab a pint of ice cream. Thought it tasted funny. Turned over the container and it expired four months ago (November 2021). Doesn’t anyone there check these things?!

The name of the store manager to this place is Jennifer and she is a B)ITCH! She treats her delivery truck drivers like s)hit. had me waiting 30 minutes to unload and couldn't muster up the energy to say "sorry for your wait." then, when its time to finish up, she tries to play it off and act like a little 10 year old girl. she's also Very condescending and don't use proper etiquette.

Organized with a lot of clutter everywhere, and have never had an issue with needing to know the price of an item. The only reason I'm giving them 4 stars is because they could work on their customer service.

The DG on Delmar in Godfrey is the best one I've ever been too. Its new, clean, friendly and have quality items.
