The visit exceeded my expectations in every way. I came in to check a price on dog food, and I left with 3 bags of dog food and a lot of extremely helpful information! I felt like I left as a more informed pet owner than when I had come in. Tony helped me out, and I cannot say enough great things about his customer service!

Joe is super lazy!!!!! Avoid him!!!!I come to this store every time to get my dog food. I use the Petco app to claim the rewards unfortunately this is the second time the app crashes. Therefore, I can’t use my rewards that I gain for purchasing at this store.The first time (last year) it happen a girl helped me she was so nice and was able to get me my rewards. This time a guy name Joe he is just pure laziness. I walking in the store he was on his phone and no greetings at all. When I asked if he could help me with the rewards he said “that’s on you, I cannot do anything at my end.” He was just lazy and no effort to help at all. I guess I interrupted his focus on his phone.This second time

Excellent self-bathing stations they provide everything you need. A step to help your large dog in, warm water, towels, brushes, scrubber, blow dryer, three types of shampoo (regular, deep cleaning and hypoallergenic), treats, and an apron for you. The staff is awesome. I called before coming to get info, the employee who answered phone was very pleasant and helpful, upon arrival we got a warm greeting and assistance throughout. Thank you Petco Glenview! Will be back!

This PetCo has the best dog bathing setup I've seen. They have a step stool into one of three walk-in stainless steel tubs. The water temperature is warm. They provide a sweet basket with bottles of shampoo and conditioner, a scrubber, towels (plenty of towels!), and a wire brush. There's a blow dryer, too. Oh, and treats. The dog smells cuddly clean again. After the bath you can of course shop for everything you need. Great staff here. They're friendly, and they care.

The staff was fabulous. I had a debt card gift card that could only work on line. Since I don't order much on line I asked if they could walk me through it. They were fabulous. The worked with me in the store and I made my purchases. I will definitely be returning. They were very helpful in helping me select items purchased.

Just came here to pick up an order that I had ordered online. Decided to buy some new cat toys for my cat along with my boyfriend. For some reason every time I looked behind me one of the little girl employees were following us around. Almost every time we moved she was there “on her phone” whilst we shopped in the same aisle. Finally I went to go pay and pick up my order and she’s magically there too? Way to make customers feel welcomed, didn’t mind the no greeting but after that awkwardly strange discriminatory moment. Meh.Also this store is dingy and does not look like any petco I’ve ever been to ever in my life. It’s so small. Take the 40 min drive out

Easy access and user friendly. Very pleasant and helpful staff. They have quite a big variety of cat food for one their smaller locations. They have enough of what Miley needs and haven't had to go elsewhere.

Friendly staff, and conveniently located for me. This location, because it's a bit smaller, only carries cat & dog supplies. Even though it's a small location it feels cozy. They always have new items based on the season or holidays. I love spoiling my two cats ♡

Ramiro clearly knows his stuff when it comes to dogs. Knowledgeable, tactful with my puppy, and very educational and helpful both in our training session and shopping for dog food and toys afterwards. Really appreciated it.

The ladies at the front are extremely unhelpful. I was the only one in the store and was clearly looking for something and no one came up to me to help me. Also a check out the two ladies at the front were very unenthusiastic and rude. In total there were three employees in the store and none of them came up to be of assistance. It's such a small store end it really shouldn’t be that difficult to help assist your customers when that's what you getting paid for.

Love this Petco, friendly staff always offers help with heavy bags of food or litter. I also love the clearance they have here, they almost always have something I want for a great price. It is a tiny bit small though unlike most locations.

This review is specifically for the trainer at this location, Oscar. He is OUTSTANDING!He was our trainer for many classes at the (now closed) Hoffman Estates PetCo Unleashed, and he is so good I want to make sure wherever he goes, people can find him and learn from his talents and skills.There is a common misunderstanding that people go to "puppy classes" for the trainer to teach their dog--obedience, tricks, etc. Actually, the trainer does not go home with you and your pup. You have to take what YOU learned in the class, and practice, practice, practice at home. The class is for the trainer to teach the humans how to train their pets.Oscar understands this concept better than most dog trainers, AND he is a gifted teacher. He explains what needs to be explained, but does not overwhelm you with details. He also will explain more if you ask. He is patient and persistent, sees what needs to be done, and customizes for each participant pair.Don't miss Oscar's classes-we went to every level he offered, and because of his good teaching, our dog is now a licensed therapy dog :)

I recently had a family member treated very poorly by the dog trainer there, to the point where she broke down and cried in the store. She innocently asked the owner of a dog who was being trained a question about the breed of dog it was to which the trainer yelled that she was "in the middle of training." There were certainly better ways to have said it, and you bet we'll be calling corporate to complain.

Two ladies in the front didn’t care at ALL about the issue I was having with my pet and gave no helpful advice at all. My dog had a little rip in her foot and I tried to explain it and they looked at me as if I had Covid-19. I ask for a certain item and one girl said no and the other yes and it was for dog rubber boots. Those things are terrible and I will be returning them as soon as possible. Maybe other petco’s are different but I would make the drive next time to other pat stores.

This is probably the smallest Petco store I've ever been to, but it has a great feel to it. I was able to find my Blue Cat Food and the staff was extremely helpful. Loved my experience!

This is not my usual petco, but since it is located in an area I needed to drive by, I chose to make a stop and get some needed supplies. I was trying to be efficient with my time and gas, but it turns out this location only serves owners of cats and dogs. I needed fish supplies. I was not aware a petco location can choose to be this exclusive and wish the store description of this location indicated that it carries stuff for cats and dogs only.
