Trying to get my home ready to list. I had 2 rooms, different colors that needed small patches and paint. Let me tell you Home Depot was spot on with color matching! I thought it would off a little. You can't even tell where I patched! I'm so happy!!!!! I only shop at Home Depot and that's why!

I went to outdoor garden center on Saturday 4-13-24. Gus helped me locate the right kind of top soil for my needs. He was knowledgeable and helpful. He guided me to checkout and told me where to move my car so he could load my trunk with the bags of top soil. The process went smoothly and easy and he was kind and eager to help in every way. I was very satisfied with my shopping experience.

I came to this home depot because it was near me. I was looking for something in particular, and the application did tell me they had plenty of them, so I got there, and the app even showed me where in the store the products were.I took what I wanted as well as other items, and on my way to checkout, the lady at the register was friendly and told me something about the product, that people have her good feedback.I partially did self checkout. She did some, too.Nobody helped me or offered to do so, but I found what I wanted.They have plenty of parking, a clean store, I'll come back if I'm around here.

Had a positive experience with the gentleman in flooring. He was very kind and helped me load a few items as well as grab a cart for me that was across the entire store. Made my experience here a positive one, as usually at Home Depot you can't find someone to help you at all.

Another run of the mill humongous hardware/home improvement store. We've been here a number of times, mainly because we pass it quite a bit, but because of the customer service and they clutter in certain areas we have avoided it more and more. We have shopped here a couple of times looking for specific items and just couldn't find what we needed and couldn't find anyone who could help us find exactly what we were looking for. And unfortunately the selection of Christmas decorations/lights is very disappointing and subpar in comparison to other chains in the area. Even the garden center has diminished in its quality over the past couple of years, so now we drive further to another chain and a nursery to buy things we used to get here. Very unfortunate.

Love this store very clean very friendly people I think every room in my house is designed by something from the store like kitchen my bathroom my living room my bedroom everything.. tool rental the equipment is always there when you need it not like some of the other big stores!

This Home Depot is the closest to my home, which makes it the most convenient. There are also a Menards and Lowes about the same distance away.As with all of the large 'big box' stores the sock is about the same and at similar price points. The choice of which store brand to go to depends on several considerations. They are: what exactly I am looking for - the stores carry different brand names or different variations of stock - more sizes or colors, etc., and finally which store has the best customer service.The single largest issue at all of these stores is aisle space, cluttering, blocking, mobile access stairs and free-standing selling displays. For example, today I had to turn around and go down a different aisle twice, in the middle of the day, no huge crowds just displays and stocking blockages.The stores are convenient and the prices generally mirror the quality of the products.

I made an order for $3,800 cash to this store and let me walk you through the type of service you’ll get for what they consider small potatoes customers. I paid for delivery of my appliances and was confirmed I would get a delivery window the day before and the day of delivery. Guess what? NO CALL or text with a delivery window. I’m not sitting all day waiting for the delivery truck to show up. Naturally the delivery was missed. I called to reschedule and provided my order number and the soonest they could accommodate was 3 days even though it was their mess up I was the one who had to wait. The second time they come for delivery they only had 1 out of the 3 appliances. The only excuse they had “sorry for the inconvenience” as if that solves anything. Third time they come they deliver a dented dryer. I reject the dryer and the delivery guy tells me he can’t do anything and I have to call the store. I call and they tell me it’s gonna de a month until I get my dryer. I ask for a refund they said they need to process the request because it’s an online order even though I made the purchase in store. I then get a called by their associate, Nancy that the only way I can get my refund is coming to the store and swiping my card. I live 30 minutes away from the store so I go ahead and show up to the store to be greeted by the arrogant and rude manager Frank L telling me I have to wait until they process my refund request and to come back tomorrow. I told them you guys called me to come over and the he said I’m sorry but there’s nothing I can do (customer service etiquette at it’s best). At this point I’ve been 5 hours on the phone, driving back and forth to the store and for the last 2 weeks trying to get my appliances or money back. Countless headaches and excuses from a company that has ZERO trained personnel in problem solving, customer service and organization. Take you hard earned money to Costco, Lowe’s, Walmart or Amazon as those companies understand the business’ success is in the customer service experience.

I have to say I am disappointed about the tool rental department here at home depot in Glendale Hts. I rent a mini excavator once a month. This time I got it with a 1/4 tank of diesel. I fueled it up so I don't run out of fuel while on the job. When I was done the tank shows 3/4. So I return it with a 1/2 tank more than I rented it. I know home depo will charge you if you return with less fuel. It is in the contract. Now I feel like HD charged the previous customer for the fuel and I ended up paying for it. I pointed this out to the service person at tool rental only to hear "unfortunately there is nothing we can do about it) This is not fair and I will take it all the way up to corporate, CEO if I have to. I am sure they do it to other customers too. Time to change this grifting scheme. Rented euipment should be in good working condition and full of fuel period. Additionally, I noticed at least 3 times so far that the equipment is not properly tied down to the trailer and unsafe to bring out on a public road. There are clearly marked eye hooks and holes to use as anchor points. I keep pointing it out to the staff but it seems to fall on deaf ears. I think more training is needed or an accident is waiting to happen.

The store in general is always well stock and the staff is well knowledgeable.I love the Free kids workshop they offer every month, the kids enjoy being able to Build their own projects!

I really would like to share my wonderful experience at the Home Depot located in Glendale Heights. What makes this location great is that their staff is always so friendly and willing to help. Today I would love to thank Dave for all of the helpful information. Dave works in the flooring department and you can tell he loves his job. He is very passionate and knowledgeable. I mean he really went above and beyond in explaining all the different benefits to each type of floor and why it is unique in its own way. He even laid out two planks to get an idea of what the floor would look like, he even explained step by step on how to install. He was kind enough to show us the website and all of its cool features to get a better idea of how this would look in our home. He took his time to explain everything in full detail and I was so fascinated with all of the information he provided. Definitely helped ease the overwhelming feeling we felt coming in looking at all the different options. We actually decided on a color he recommended! Dave deserves a HUGE raise! Thank you Dave for making such a huge decision a piece of cake!

Very disappointed! I ordered online for Curbside pick up. When the Associate bring out the item and handed it to me the item was totally filthy. Dust and dirt all over it. Why would you ever bring out something filthy like that to a paying customer without out cleaning off the product.

I went this early morning on Christmas Eve looking for a last minute mini tree. Everyone was so helpful especially these three wonderful ladies Marilyn, Tanzee & Suzanne! They even ended up giving me the tree for free unexpectedly which is beyond sweet of them and the only thing I had to pay for was the support stand. I was honestly coming into the store planning to pay for the tree. Thank you ladies and Home Depot for your exceptional customer service.

I've, had great luck with this home depot. Great employee's like Marvin in Lumber. He gave me great advice with my purchase and help load it in my vehicle. He also followed up with me later, to tell me I left 1 cart of purchases behind. Above and beyond service. Thanks you Marvin, Al, and home depot.

overall quality and price is probably better than most big box stores! what we like is they have next day delivery for in store shopping. If they do not have what you need they actually pull your orders from a store that has your entire invoice and deliver the following day! our only issue, the guy in plumbing was not very knowledgeable with anything plumbing!

Always love going to Home Depot. They have a great selection of electrical materials. The other reason to like Home Depot is that they sell Milwaukee and Klein tools. The one thing I would suggest to management, make sure that the stores are stocked the same. It's very annoying that you can go to 10 different stores, and the same item will be in totally different locations in all 10 stores.

Poor customer service... asked to hold an item in tool rental for no more than 1/2 an hour. Since online it didn't give me the option to reserve it. Unable to accommodate the request. Called 5 times each being on hold for 10 minutes each time.

Friendly greeters when entering the store. Lots of signs pointing the way to each department. Plenty of parking, though some spaces taken up by seasonal gardening center. I had a hard time finding I fo at the kitchen exhibit but when I questioned an employee, she helped as much as she could. She them called over a kitchen expert. The touch screen help was not working. Some aisles are closed off as they move inventory but it opens again quickly. Aisles are large and handicap friendly but some merchandise may be high for some people.

The customer service desk are terrible, rude and irresponsible. The lady she’s hispanic descent she started arguing with me when I ask if the price match even though online it said they price match. They have ZERO customer satisfaction. Absolutely terrible low class encounter, they hire unprofessional people who argue like little kids. Do better at customer service at Glendale Heights Home Depot.
