Not much to say about this location as it's just a hardware store and I come here at least once a month. I'm always in and out pretty quickly. Shelves seem to be pretty well stocked. Occasionally it's hard to find an employee if you're looking for something, but once you find someone they're pretty helpful. Lots of sales over the last week. Easy to make returns, sometimes there can be a line for the returns, especially this time of year. Overall this is a very clean well stocked and maintained location.

It's very obvious there are problems with people like "Kevin" at this location. He flat out lied to me during a "customer service" encounter. I bought a single very standard door on-line for pick-up, 4 days ago. I received notice that it was ready for pick-up and then realized (even though the door was standard for most people, I had ordered the incorrect door for myself). I then created another order with the correct door "for me" to get picked up. When going to customer service for a refund of the incorrect door, Kevin informed me there would be a 25% restock fee for my mistake. This is highly punitive damage for an honest mistake on a standard item. However, "Kevin" made sure that he told me that he was the General Manager, and this was final. Kevin said it was "very clear" when I ordered the door that I would be charged a 25% restock fee if I tried to return it. Well, I never picked up the door, I was looking for credit (in-store, would have been fine). I asked Kevin for a break on the 25% fee, he said, "Nope".Please see the attached and tell me if a 25% restock on this order was apparent.Explanation of the attached;Nothing on the "order page" nor the "submit payment page" (final page, where payment is made), says "there is a 25% restock if you cancel this order". BTW: This was not a "Special Order", it was just not in-stock at this location.I had to drill into the "View Return Policy" to find:A special order may be returned at the sole discretion of Menards® with a 25% restocking fee.So, this encounter with Menards and Kevin cost me over $40 for a simple mistake, that will cost them nothing except a bad review, and losing a customer.

Excellent location just off of North Avenue about five minutes west of Highway 355. Everything you need such as Plumbing, Carpet, cabinets, paint, appliances, lumber, and even outdoor HomeGoods and barbecues.

I went to buy toilets that were on sale. I walked around the whole store and saw many employees that did not acknowledge me at all. Then when I got to the right section, an employee named Matt came over and asked if he could help me. i told him i wanted to get the two toilets that are on sale and explained that i work Monday - Friday and don't get home until 3:10pm or so and asked if there was anyway they could deliver at that time or later..Matt asked me to wait a few minutes while he checked to see if it is possible. He came back and told me that was not a problem. Then i walked to the back of the store with him where David was working. He asked me if Saturday would work and i replied that is even better bc i am off on the weekends. So David took care of writing up the order and told me to pay at the register and make sure the delivery charges shows up as well on the receipt. Then they both wished me a Happy New Year!Matt and David were very helpful and I just wanted you to know they made my day! Thank you guys! i appreciate you both!!!

Disappointed that we (and another guest) were left waiting 10 minutes in order pick up while the assigned employees stood outside the side door area looking at one cell phone together. They only came in when I was calling the order pick up area from my cell phone and they heard the phone ringing.

This store is just basically amazing. The service is great. The staff here are really a big help. They are kind, friendly, and helpful, and they help as much as they can. They are also knowledgeable, and you can ask them about anything inside the store. I went to the store to look for new rugs. The store is also well-organized by department, and as I walked to the rug section, I couldn't help but notice how clean everything was. The whole place is clean, even when there is a lot of stuff, and everything is organized on their shelves. As expected, they have a wonderful selection and it is really hard to choose because everything looks great and everything has good quality too. The prices are also fair and reasonable. I chose only one, and I am definitely happy with it. I also took the chance to buy other things that I needed. Overall, I had a good experience at this place, and I am very happy with everything I bought. This place is definitely one of the best.

Home Depot is near my house, I rent machines from there, but their machines are old, so I thought I’d try Menards. I rented some machines from here, and when I went to return them, there was a lady named Elizabeth. She gave me a very hard time, first she said the machine was not clean and she would charge me an extra 20 dollars, when I confronted her, she called the manager, the manager saw the machine and said it was clean and don’t need to charge extra. Then she said that you came an hour late, I will charge you the full rent for the next day, then I confronted her again, the manager came and told her that an hour is fine, don’t charge. I had a lot of trouble with this lady, now I will not rent anything from Menards, I am fine with Home Depot.”

. The line to pay was long, and all the staff in the gardening section were clueless. When I went to pay, I wanted to add more items (because they didn't fit in the cart), and they sent me to the other end of the building to ask for "pickup tickets." It was a mess. Home Depot definitely has better service, no doubt.

An Employee moved a cart out of the cart corral that hit my car, dented it and scratched it. I was in my car after making a purchase at this location and saw it happening live. The manager then denied that she couldn’t see anything on the camera. We file a claim and they take 3 weeks to get back to me only to tell me that they have determined no responsibility. This is a place that gets thousands of dollars every month from our business and they can’t take responsibility for something so minor caused by an employee on the clock working for them. Big corporations that don’t care about customers lining their pockets with money.

Went in on 10/23/23. Wanted to buy vinyl flooring item number 7257475. Online said the store has 68 boxes in stock but only found 12 boxes. Asked an employee for help and without checking or looking around or at least pretending to be interested, he said that's all they have. Either the store somehow lost 56 boxes of vinyl flooring or the guy didn't feel like helping me out

Pick up order process is stupid. We have to scan the barcode to get in. Then call the guy to come out then when we leave we have to have another guy check our ticket and see where the item is in the car like if the order is left in the trunk so we have to open the trunk ? Get double check for what? So time consuming. Never coming back here

Watch out for this store. Bait and switch operation going on with their wood chippers. This was the only chipper available in the store. When I went up to the register the item rang up over 200 dollars more than the advertised price. After speaking with the manager she said it was the wrong product and would not honor the posted pricing. They went to the general manager and still would not honor the advertised price. Wasted a ton of time and there was nothing they were will to do.

Items listed online as available at this location, I was told by staff, were out! Register check out was outrageously slow, must've been my bad luck day, but it's the same case every time I come to this Menards!! Moved from register to register, and it just got slower! Uuugghhh, aggravating store!

Urghhh 😩 This is the only place to purchase what I don't want always but I haven't really had all good experiences. The big hits they make me suffer with always hit the hardest! Ordered a microwave and the pick up experience was pretty frustrating. I pulled around to the Big Orange Sign saying Order pickup and I had my order details on the website pulled up. Boris at the gate comes after about 2 minutes of me being at the gate and goes “how can you get in without a barcode” and I said I have the details here and he goes once again “you cant get in without a bar code”. I’ve never picked up an order in this manner before. I went inside the store and saw other guests pulling around from the outside and picking up orders similar in size to mine. Probably won’t order again. Poor customer service.

Went to garden to get pre packed gravel. No cashier in sire finally found her. Asking where is checkout found finally found texting greeted with smerk.told to go inside to cashier NOT KIOSK. IT WAS AN ORDEAL sadly this store has items needed or would have gone elsewhere

Product on display had wrong price listed. When brought to the register it took quite a bit of time and several people to come to the conclusion that they would not honor the price on display because someone put the wrong sale sign up. I work in retail, and I would say depending on the policy most retailers would honor or at least give you something off. Customer service was very dismissive, with no apology. A lot of my time wasted. Disappointing and will not return.

I was there shopping for just over an hour and a half and the same 2 employees were playing on their phones the entire time I was there in the cart corral hiding from doing work. They were still there when I left and they were already there when I arrived.

We were gifted a Whirlpool dryer from this location. Within days, the dryer was not drying well and eventually condensation ruined the console. Thankfully, it was under warranty and we asked Whirpool to replace the part. After being fixed, and following the repair man's instructions, the same issue arose once more. This time, we noticed water on the floor and opened the duct. What do you know: an employee had the bright idea of stuffing THE ENTIRE MANUAL deeply inside of the dryer duct. Never have I seen such lazy negligence. Now we await the 2nd repair: hopefully this will be the last.
