I took my dog there for a bath three weeks ago and it was beyond disgusting. I had to ask for a staff member to clean it which they are required to do after every dog. He acted like I was putting him out. He did not clean it like it should be. I have been taking my dogs there for years. The pictures I took are after he “cleaned” it and I housed the hair away from where I was standing.

The recommendations for their fish are abusive. They actually recommended a "minimum tank size" of 75 gallons for a 36" koi fish... 75 gallon tanks are barely longer than one koi fish. They should only be kept in ponds or pond sized huge tanks. The rest of their recommendations are not much better and they mislabeled fish species or mixed the tank labels.

Fantastic pet supply place. Their selection of grain free dog food is excellent. They have a whole isle of it! They also have a dog washing station.Many different types of pets and food/sullies offered. It is really a place for everyone! They have a dog wash station here which is awesome!! They have all the pet supplies you'd expect from a pet supply store. The only downside was in my opinion things were priced pretty high. You can bring your pet inside also which the kids thought was hilarious.

Their hot water is broken which you don't find out till i unload the car with our heard ( 3 big dogs, and 4 kids)..not even room temperature...and the guy at the counter was still gonna charge me full price if we just braved the cold water!!!!!!!! I've also had other issues cause I used to go later in the evening to avoid waits or caos with the 3 dogs and just me...and I had never been told I couldn't wash them if it's was at least 30 minutes before closing . NOW if you walk in 59 minutes before they close NOW they won't let u use it at all !!! Money is money, and I ALWAY pick up all the mats and wipe the whole floor down cause my dogs make a mess...and I always try and leave places better than I found them.

this place is absolutely terrible. when I was there to get some pet supplies i decided to take a look at the pets they have. the hamsters had their wheels flipped over so they couldn't run on them and their hides were flipped over. the bedding was filthy and messy. the lizards had their water bowls flipped and hides upturned and the substrate was a mess. the poor ferrets have feces smeared all over the walls and they had nothing but a litter box, hide, and a small crusty water bottle. sorry but i won't be coming here again until something changes.

Pretty good selection for my needs.I wish they had some more options/sizes for pet clothes. I prefer to buy items like that in store rather than online because finding a good fit is so hard, I need to see it with my eyeballs.Only other thing is I buy Fresh Pet for My dogs to add to their kibble and the Fresh pet logs here are very expensive. They're half the price at Target, so not sure what that's about.But my dogs need specific food and they always have it, so that's a plus.I like the buy 12 get 1 free deal they do for pet food. It'd be nice if it was buy 6 get 1. I believe that was done in the past, but it was increased to 12.

Pet Supplies Plus in Glen Ellyn is top notch. The staff is friendly and the managers Silva and Sam are always willing to help you. The store is well stocked and orderly. Highly recommend it.

This is only the second time I have been to this particular location and although it’s on my way home from work I will not be going back. I will take the inconvenience of going out of my way over this sad excuse of a place. The first time I went here a couple weeks ago I went inside and shopped. Not one employee said hello or even moved out of the way when I was trying to grab something that they were blocking. The young man at the cash register was nice enough but not friendly.Yesterday I decided to use curbside for the convenience as I have a knee injury. Pulled up in front and alerted that I was there. I waited for almost five minutes even though through the window you could see the cashier leaning on the counter doing nothing. At almost five full minutes of waiting a young man comes out. Doesn’t say a word to me at all. Barely hands me the bag of cat food…meaning as I was reaching for it it almost fell. He did nothing. As he is barely handing me the food he is at the same time trying to hand me a bag of products. I did my best to grab both so that it would not fall and that he wouldn’t be “inconvenienced “ by doing his job any more than he already had been. Not a single word from this person.This is the poorest customer service I have seen.I will drive far out of my way to the Arlington Heights location from now on. That location knows what customer service is inside the store and curbside as well. Call them up for some tips, you need it.

Went in to wash my dog at their self-service sinks, $14 and I had use of all their equipment, warm water, shampoos, conditioners, high speed air, and towels.Everyone was very nice. The facilities were clean.I have since purchased a "dog wash card" for $40. It gives you 5 washes. A great deal at an even better price!

I prefer the Glen Ellyn store over the one on Ogden in Naperville. Staff is very friendly and helpful. My dog loves the choices for treats in bulk.

I brought to the attention of the bald guy Mike of a customer almost hitting me with their vehicle and he blindly protects the other customer because he's friends with him. This is also the same manager that I told him that a cart flipped over because of a divot in the parking lot and he never fixed. The bald guy looks like he's from the TV show night Court was extremely rude on professional and has no business in retail if he can't treat people fairly. Not to mentioned they keep raising their prices every time I go in the store last time I checked it was like $14 for 40 lb bag of litter. That'll be a hard pass moving forward

First time visiting this store. I was really impressed with how nice and helpful the staff was! Prices are not bad and they had a sale going on. Make sure you visit the bakery goods located by the checkouts, they are so cute and professional looking. Looks like they would be on display for human consumption.

There is a guy that works here that talked pets with me and helped me pick out some beautiful snails. If you need some cute and healthy aquarium snails, I'd recommend coming here. They seem a lot more healthy than the ones I have bought elsewhere, plus they come in some lovely colors that you don't see too often at general pet supply stores.

My kitty loves the food I get for her here..the people are nice..sometimes you get to see a cat or two in the cages..my cat recommends Mittens brand food..one I don't see at other pet stores..

We shop here regularly for our cat and parakeet food and treats. The store is always neat and clean and the prices are competitive. They carry our pets favorite brand and flavors. They often have great sales on our regular purchases that are more competitive than their competitors. There is a stocker named John who has been working there for years (even in the old location) and he is super helpful and hardworking. We love to see the cats there for adoption as well.

I have been a regular customer, at this location for over two years. Prices are high, but I try to shop and support a locally-owned franchise, vs. a corporation. Today, I tried to return a defective product (with receipt) and they refused to give me a replacement, because I had purchased it more than 30 days ago. It was not a perishable item, and I was not expecting a refund, only a replacement item, of another brand. The "manager" called the actual manager, and in the end, they refused to back up their product. Back to Petco, I go!Horrible customer service. 😔

They have a great selection of cat food, but not so much in the way of feeder insects. I do love saying hello to the kitties that they sponsor though! They're always so sweet! Staff is super friendly, a great place to shop, but depending on your needs you might need to go elsewhere.
