The good: front desk lady was super nice and accommodating. Bed linens seemed clean.The bad: train ran all night long. There is some kind of thumping and banging noise that shakes the whole building. The room is rather creepy. Heater didn’t really work. Froze all night. Everything needs remodeled. I stay in motels approx 200 nights a year. Beds are probably the worst I’ve ever slept in. Cheap mattresses. Curtains falling off hooks on window. Floors are filthy, need to be mopped. Bath towels are disgusting. Stained and worn. In defense of hotel, this is a small town and there’s not many choices for accommodations. For $65/night, I think they do the best they can. This place seemed to be the best in the area out of the 3 choices.

If you want a Quiet Relaxing place to stay DON'T STAY HERE. Legit the ONLY one staying on this side Section of the Motel and someone in room 114 is BANGING on Walls, STOMPING/JUMPING on Floor, causing the WHOLE DAMN ROOM TO SHAKE, BOUNCING YOUR HEAD OFF THE WALL LAYING IN THE BED LOUD UNNECESSARY NOISE IT'S RIDICULOUS for the MONEY PAID TO STAY AND JUST F'N RUDE TO GUESTS!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

This is a great hotel to stay at. It's not expensive and the rooms are very clean. The staff and owners are very friendly! I stayed here for my birthday and I returned to stay for the weekend for my anniversary. Plenty of rooms they have a indoor building and a building with the doors on the outside. It also has plenty of stores and restaurants around the area. I will definitely return someday to stay again!

When we first came in the lady was very kind , we only stayed there for a few hours because in the room that they gave us we found a bed bug on the pillow , I went and told the gentleman that was there at the time and he said that it couldn’t be possible, but he gave us another room right next to it , which my friend and I inspected for obvious reason and yes we found another bed bug , so I went back and told him he was really mad trying to say that they clean very good and that couldn’t be happening I told him to go with me to check it out and he denied going , of course I wasn’t going to ask for another room

I stay at this Motel 6 because its location is perfect on my return trip to Ontario. The hotel offers everything I need to recharge from the day. A shower, clean room (no carpet so no musty smell), comfortable bed, and quiet. TV, microwave oven and micro fridge also in rooms.The staff have been helpful and friendly. Check-in is quick and simple.This is a no frills motel, but for me, it has been a super valuable find. A place to refresh.Thank you

We came up to visit family. Very, very friendly staff. The owner was very helpful and even walked us to our room personally. He stated they were remodeling, and the rooms looked good. There is minimal furniture, but we didn't mind that because we don't use the dressers and such. There was a table, chair, nice TV, and the beds were comfortable.The pillows were almost too soft, which I didn't know could happen, but nothing that changed our opinion of our stay.We will definitely be staying again when we go to visit our family.

Listen, it's a Motel 6 in a very small, rural town, it is what it is. Location was ideal for us, hence our stay. Grounds are sparse with strangely configured driveway and lots. Hotel set up is unusual in that there are 2 separate buildings. Actual hotel is undergoing "renovation" and there is a mishmash of rooms that are painted and being worked on. Owner/ manager was very accommodating and check in was uneventful. our room was more like a college dorm room than hotel room. Very sparse furniture, unusual and uncoordinated furnishings abound. Issues with room: cracked window to outside, dirty tub, various stains throughout room, weird wiring with electronic, light switches that didn't work, no lights in hallways. Bed seemed clean, we checked thoroughly, and comfortable. We had hot water as needed while all drains emptied very slowly. Overall stay was average to slightly below. Basically we had long days outside hotel and just needed a place to sleep and clean up.This hotel worked for that. Other than that ...... Honestly I would look elsewhere if I came back.

Not a good experience! Advertised as all new rooms, and should have been nice. Not so, the vending machine.....the only 1 was out of most of the selections, the soda I got was expired. The lobby was haphazardly done as remodeling looked very janky. My bathroom door in the room was damaged and had a large hole in it. The room was big, but empty... no place to sit, missing furniture and needed more work. The person who checked us in could not speak English and the language barrier was almost impossible. I'm sure improvement is necessary but ?

Yes, I gave it 5 stars, but it is a 5-star Motel 6. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of room for me and my dog. There was a cozy little banquet style seating in the corner by the table - a great place for breakfast. The man who checked me in walked me to my room and showed me that everything was working. Great place!

We booked and paid for this room via Expedia. The motel also charged us for the room. The same man who checked us in mysteriously forgot how to speak English when questioned about the double charge.The manager wouldn’t return our calls, lied to Expedia saying our card was declined and I spent 1.5 hours on the phone trying to get a refund (that will take 3-5 days ). Toilet was broken, heater didn’t work properly.

It was okay. Nothing terrible about it. I booked a room with 1 King size bed and it wasn’t too bad. The worst thing was that I had to set the A/C unit down incredibly low to get the room to cool off, but it wasn’t too inconvenient. One of the hand towels they gave me had still had faded splotches of yellow stains. The room itself was very spacious, but nothing to fill that space with, so it looked very bare. Overall, not a bad spot for $50, but don’t expect the Ritz Carlton.

It wasn't awful. I myself messed up check in. And had to haggle out the deal with front desk. At 11pm. I was so frustrated with myself. But front desk didn't give me no hassle and helped me fix the mix up. Having the room mix up. Both rooms were nice and clean. And i loved the set up. The cool table and chairs match with how the beds are. Aw well as the TV.3 bars of soapoup. Nothing extra as far as bathroom stuff...Wifi is legit...Beds are ok... Better than a car!Pillows are squishy memory foamish.I liked my stay.

This place is beyond disgusting. I checked in super late and left super early and had prepaid for it. Gross, 10 out of 10 would NOT let anyone I know stay there again. Honestly Motel 6 should be ashamed to have their brand associated with this hotel. Just thankful I didn't catch bedbugs or worse here. Cracked window, filthy toothpaste coated sink, hair and sticky dirt on the floor, and more. I lysoled everything I had to touch wore shoes and NEVER touched the floor while I was there neither did anything I own except the bottom of my shoes. Rude front desk staff to boot. Gross Gross Gross only gave 1 star so I could post this review. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!

Not a good experience. Room was kind of dirty. The towels in the bathroom are too small, too thin, and had stains on them. Water from faucet smelled like rotten eggs. Toilet seat was cracked. WiFi reception was extremely slow. Would not recommend. You're better off spending a little bit more money on a nicer place.

The lady at the desk was very pleasant and accommodating. The room was clean, open, and comfortable. It's not luxurious, but then, it's not supposed to be.The only issue was with the reservation system, and not the motel itself... if you are a "my6" member, make sure your discount is reflected in your reservation email.Ours wasn't, and we had to call 2x to finally get it applied.

Easily booked our 4 rooms by phone to the hotel, we ended up only needing 3. The front desk was very friendly and accommodating. It also helped that I did not book online so cancelling the other room wasnt even an issue. The room was as seen on their website, clean and updated. Having small kids in our entourage we appreciated the cleanliness and the wood floors (not carpet) and the microwave and fridge in each room. Overall it was a great value. If you're looking for a nice clean place to sleep and a hot shower but don't need all the fussy amenities this is perfect. There was a family friendly truck stop/restaurant nearby that served delicious breakfast and friendly service as well. We will definitely book again next year for our visit to Illinois.

Very nice motel freshly renovated and very clean. The motel staff was very friendly and courteous. I would gladly stay there again if I travel through that way again. Across the street from the motel incorporated in a Pilot truck stop is a Denny's restaurant, on the same side of the road ajasent to the Pilot/Denny's is a Burger King as well.

Everything was great. I only wish that complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and lotion would be provided in the stay instead of just soap.It was nice that the remote control for the television worked rather than having to be in a certain area of the room. Having stayed in many hotels/motels within the past year, the remote control for the television hardly ever worked. I always had to stand in a certain spot in the room before it would work.

The best thing about the place was the price. It is almost half of any similar joints in the area. The other positives are the clean room, comfortable bed and available mini fridge and microwave and a good WiFi connection.Why only three star. Very sparse amenities. No closet (just hangers in open), smallish bathroom, no toiletries except a small piece of soap., no coffee maker and coffee in lobby was bad and obviously no free breakfast.Overall, it is good for what you pay for and a clean and warm place to stay.Update: I am changing rating to 4* for locational convenience. There are multiple gas stations, Denny's, McDonald's, Pilot (excellent travel center) etc. Also, the motel is within a few hundred feet off highway 57. The conveniences you realize when you land up at 11 PM in the night and want to get something to eat or if your gas tank is almost empty.

The room was nice and big, but there was no shampoo, kleenex, conditioner, lotion, hair dryer. A little too sparse for us plus we paid over $70. There was a frig. and microwave, but it was in a corner with no lights so you couldn't see the numbers on microwave. No alarm clock. Would be fine for $40-$50. No in room coffee, no mini breakfast.

Clean and simple. There was quite a bit of humming noise from other rooms but that was a plus for us since we always sleep with fans on. The beds are firm. The floors are vinyl which is a huge plus in my opinion. There was no weird smells.

On the plus side, the people are very nice and easy to find.It seems they have recently remodeled but facility is still pretty bare. There is a platform bed in the room with very flat pillows, a small desk, a small flatscreen tv on the wall that's mounted at a awkward upward angle to watch in bed, that's about it. Nothing else in the room. The bathroom towels are very thin, The vinyl flooring is not particularly clean, wish I brought slippers with me. The place is also close to the main road off the interstate and near enough to a railroad crossing so you can hear train horn and trunk engine noises throughout the night.I don't know if that's me expecting too much from a Motel 6 but for the price I paid I think the experience could be better.

Very clean, very friendly staff. Great prices. I travel through the area a couple of times a year, and will always stay here. The pet friendly rooms are hard floor instead of carpet, which is great for if they spill water or anything, I can clean it up with no fuss, and no worry about the carpet.

Dirty. We asked for a different room and it was even worse than the first one. Dirty sheets and blood on the extra towels we were given! There was a dried pop stain on the floor. How can that be missed if they are cleaning the room? I know, they are not cleaning! The back entrance door didn't lock. The mirrors were foggy and gross. The slogan for Motel 6 is "we will leave the light on". The light didn't work in the first room.... Ironic! We left at 9:30 pm to find another hotel because it was that bad. I don't know how anyone could ever give them a 4 rating unless you have absolutely no standards..... I would rather sleep in my car.

Our room was spotless. I love the decor and especially that it has no carpet. The big plus... PET FRIENDLY, and no extra CHARGES. Our beds were very comfortable, the price was great.

$70 for one night...the front desk lady was nice but she looked like she rolled right out of bed. No unform just an old over sized t-shirt. I wasnt sure if she worked there or was covering for someone. The pictures posted at the front desk and online must have been taken a few years ago bc the room looked nothing like it. The sink was dirty and not wiped out and the towels were an off white color, they looked old and were kind of hard and smelled bad. There was a stain on one of the beds on the sheets. Flies were in the room and the room itself smelled weird. I opened the windows to air it out. It was late and I was tired and didn't feel like complaining, I just put my sheets I brought with me over the bed and didn't use the shower. Also this has nothing to do with the hotel but when I went to make a reservation the wed site said only two available rooms left, but they were apst empty and the lady at the front desk told me there was a lot of rooms available
