Check-in was very easy and quick, arrived at 10:48PM and had the key card in hand by 10:51. Had an oddity with my booking thanks to an issue with the booking site I used (not the hotel's fault) and the attendant was able to fix the issue within a minute. Room appearance is a little dated but by no means bad, and appliance-wise the room looks to be fairly recently upgraded! Room was very large. First impressions of cleanliness get a 4/5; not perfect, but it appears all the important spots are well kept. Shower could use some work, curtain was a little moldy and the shower head was perhaps the shortest I've ever seen in a hotel; looks like it was put in for someone 5'6". Both attendants I worked with during my stay were nice and helpful. Overall, I've stayed in hotels before that cost twice as much for half the quality, so that's a great mark in my book!

This room was amazing! It was very spacious, you had a microwave, a full size fridge and still plenty of room to move around. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean and roomy. They have a good Cable lineup and smoking rooms are available. Check-in was quick and easy and the man was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here every time I'm in this area!

I'm a trucker, so I've stayed in many budget motels across the nation. This is one of the best motels overall in my opinion. Cash price for 3 nights was unbeatable, and everything was clean and is being renewed. Don't get me wrong, there are some minor inconveniences like no laundry room right now, no coffee pot, no breakfast, no electric outlet in the bathroom, etc. BUT, the new owners are super nice and friendly, and the room service people are, too! This is a safe and quiet place to stay. I'll certainly stay again when in the area.

Feel like I was back in the 80s with a motel that's pretty old. The heater was about 43 decibels which is a little loud for a heater. The shower pressure was weak because half of its going into the faucet into the bathtubRoom was clean so that's good. The sheet and the cover are very very thin so that was not comfortable to sleep. Roku tv in the room.

Clean rooms, quiet town, friendly staff, excellent rates. I really love the old motel style where I can park in front of my door! This place is older, but very well kept up. This motel owner actually seems to take pride in his units and it shows. Most places I visit I get to deal with a very cranky attendant, who really couldn't give a flip about your concerns. The owner came out to show me his other available rooms, and was very excited and proud to show them off! What a refreshing place to stay. I'll definitely be staying here more often when working in this area. A++

I LOVED it. No bed bugs, no roaches, quiet, felt safe, slept great. Didn't have a coffee pot but I travel with my own, no breakfast but most motels aren't serving breakfast still. If you travel for work this is the place to go. It is a older motel bit has been updated. My vehicle was right outside my room. I will definitely stay here again when I'm in Gilman.

This is my second time staying at this hotel This will be my regular spot for now on when I come into town to visit family I am currently staying in a room right now I'm here from Arkansas and I just want to say the rooms are cozy quaint... I'm a smoker and they still offer smoking rooms which is fantastic but another reason I stay here is because the owners are always so pleasant and so friendly and that means a lot to me when I stay at a hotel So I've decided this will be my regular spot to stay when I come from Arkansas to visit family. The people that run this place are just so sweet and so nice and so hospitable keep up the good work budget host.. The only thing I would suggest adding but is not a necessity cuz you have an all night truck stop a hop skip and a jump from the hotel but it would be nice to have a small coffee pot in the room but like I said that's not a necessity you still get five stars in my book If I could give you eight stars I would... Something else I'd like to add How many hotels would you check in first thing in the morning I haven't found one yet except this one when I get into town if I'm here early they let me check in as early as 8:00 or 9:00 if they have my room ready which they usually try to have ready So that's a real plus I don't have to wait 5 hours after I get into town to check into my room cuz after a long drive for Arkansas I'm tired and ready to get to my room and lay down and they very much accommodate thatRooms: Very clean very quaint cozy I don't need luxury to lay back in bed and watch TV when I'm relaxing in a hotel room but I must say these beds are very very comfySafety: The owners seem to keep pretty good watch of the place I've only stayed here twice but neither time have I felt unsafe I have always felt safe and last night I even slept with my door open unlocked and opened just the screen door closed and didn't feel a bit uncomfortable doing that gillman is a pretty safe town I would say One of the safest small towns you could live in in small town USAWalkability: If you like to walk everything you could need right here in Gilman is within walking distance dollar store catty corner across the street truck stop a 5-minute walk and it's open 24 hours so if you're like me you have a place to go get a coffee in the middle of the night

3.7 I would say, older motel that has been rather well kept up with. Quiet location less than 3-4 blocks from the interstate so noise level is good. Spent 3 day weekend with no complaint. To compare, go two blocks up the street to brand name hotel with smaller rooms and beds and pay 50% more.

This was our 4th night here. The room we had this time the start button on microwave didn't work. I went to the office and they immediately got us another one. Great service. Awesome owners. Would stay here again anytime needed.Rooms: Very clean, fridge and microwave.

Stayed here for over a month and always had a clean room with fresh towels. The owners harry and sema were very nice and helpful, when I needed anything they responded to it very quickly. Great prices and nice large rooms in the back. The owners are making repairs and painting the rooms on a weekly basis. Overall great place to stay when your working out on the road.

Me and my husband stayed here for two weeks and I honestly have no complaints besides one which was that our bathtub didn't hold water but they was still renviting the hotel, very nice staff and clean rooms and felt very safe even when I was there by myself...very peaceful and quiet....dollar general within walking distance... Didn't have a coffee pot but not a problem full size fridge in the rooms... definitely will stay again

Great hotel, a bit pricy, but the cable and internet is EXCELLENT and they accept animals. The area is great, very close to a CVS pharmacy, a riverside immediate care center, gas stations, restaurants and a Dollar General. Very quiet, the guests are very nice, and the hotel staff are very courteous and graceful.

My boyfriend and I have stayed here a few times over the past couple years and I love this place.....never had a problem bringing my little furbabies here because they only charge a few dollars more so I can have them with me. Would I recommend Budget Host to others for an overnight place to stay? Yes....yes I definitely would 💖💖🌹🌹

I've been staying here a few months already for work. The owners have been wonderful, friendly, and considerate. I get my mail delivered here, including packages. Their customer service is top notch. The amenities are good, especially considering the low cost.

Was a little nervous when I booked room, but pleasantly surprised. Beds were comfortable, price was great. Wasn't charged extra for my pup. Clean safe. If you like nostalgia, who will appreciate this motel ie you get an actual key. Crazy right. Little details left in tact, that brings you back to the old school travel lodge. Location pretty good. Friendly local bar short distance plus grear breakfast at Lucy's diner at the truck stop. Give it a try.

I had come into the Budget Host In to ask if they were hiring. The lobby was small and dark, and the rooms from the outside look quite old but I didn't get to see much of the motel as a whole.

Wow! $45This place was better than most chain hotels I've stayed at. I travel a lot for my job, and this has been the best so far.
