Check your receipts. Lots and lots of incorrect prices ALL of which rang up higher than listed price on the shelf. Front end manager will not match the price on the shelf and is rude and will talk down to you. Must have max card and sign up digitally to get the sale price, usually the sale price is the same or higher than Walmart's regular prices. The next time I need groceries and am driving through Gibson City, I'm avoiding this County Market.

I was passing by and needed to stop for a pack of Kleenex. I was very impressed with this store. Everything was spotlessly clean, the facilities were well maintained, the shelves were stocked with fresh products at ok prices. I would definitely shop here if I lived in the area!

I specifically love the County Market in Gibson City, IL because they only use him. Find out a five stars on cleanliness, courteousness and efficiency and everything you could hope for during the grocery shopping experience.

False advertisement with meat sales. Last 4 sales I went only to discover they were sold out on day 1 or 2 at noon-was told they only put out xx number each day of sale (same prob as putting total small volume out on day 1) -they clearly do not have enough volume to be advertising a 3 or 5 day sale! Also Ad said whole pork butts- however was told they do not sell them whole rather only cut them in half (to make them last). This is false advertisement and we would not have driven over had we known this. In future We will never shop here based on advertised meat sales which is too bad because we buy a lot of other groceries when we come.

If I could I would QUIT coming to this store. Its just so convenient unfortunately but then again I may have to start thinking about other store choices out of this town.So many different problems every time you go in there its like how are they even still getting business.?.

While the prices may be higher, it's totally worth it for quality you get! One of the best places to get meat and fresh produce. Most of the other places I shop at, fresh fruit and veggies start to mold and go bad after a day or 2. Fresh produce from county market will last me weeks to months, depending on what it is. In addition, the employees are super friendly! Always a great experience shopping here!

I find the County Market in Gibson City has the cleanest, best stocked, well lit store. Staff is GREAT, Always Helpful !!! Wheelchair accessible and parking lot well lit. Fresh produce and a Fantastic Deli and the ladies behind Deli are the Best ! The Cashiers are as Great as well. As well as customer service ! So polite and always smiling when I shop there. The BEST County Market !!!

I don't even want to give this place a 1star!! Your better off going to IGA in Paxton or a Grocery store out of town!! Paxton also has a nicer Dollar General!! Not a very nice place to work especially school aged kids not a good place to start them off at!!

Was ok. Out of a lot of things. Kind of cluttered. Employees were nice.Update..bought a van of olive and although wasn't expired had mold in it. Bought some chips, had a funny taste and checked expiration date to find out it was 2 months expired.

good. Bought some sweet corn the other day from here and it was by far the best corn of the summer. I'm a sweet corn 🌽fanatic. I eat sweet corn during the summer like no other. I love the smaller kernels that pop off the cob. I can't stand mushy corn. The taste was super sweet also. I get corn from everywhere and this place is by far the winner so far this year!

I am new to Gibson City and was concerned after reading negative reviews. However, I am very pleased to say that the store is really well run. It is neat and clean and employees are friendly and helpful. While there are times that shelves have not been restocked, I haven't had difficulty finding what I need.

If you're used to Walmart. ? Prices are going to be a little bit High on several items.On the positive side? There is a really good selection of items here. I was impressed by what I found in the store. . I really love. a brand of frozen pizza here That I cannot find anywhere else. Culinary Circle has several pizzas that are excellent. . A few of them stink, but for the most part they are good.- When I have shop this store in the past I have found that they Usually have several. Good sales items.

We were very disappointed at the prices we had to pay at the CM store here in Gibson City, Il.I understand the food prices are unfairly going up every where, but this store started raising the prices above ever where else within a couple of weeks of being put on shutdown when Covid first started. Since this is the only grocery store in town, it is a sad, sad, situation. There are many in this town that are disabled, Senior Citizens, and many that dont have transportation to have to drive out of town.And, I dont know if its just me, but it seems with the higher cost the quality of some of the merchandise has gone way down.Thank you for asking our opinion but I seriously doubt this problem will be addressed.

It's the only grocery store in town..overpriced on many items. Some items, I buy regularly, they do not carry. Often the shelves are empty and I have on occasion found expired food in the dairy section, and when pointing it out to an employee, gone in a few days later and found the items still there. We go out of town for most of our grocery shopping these days for better selection and better pricing. I can spend $100 in this store and only have 20 items in my cart..none of it being meat.

I changed my 1 star to a 5 star all because of the girl who bagged my groceries. She's smart! Very smart! A true asset. She used some hooks on my cart to hang the bread and eggs. No way anything can get crushed. She has long brown hair.

Great place to shop, we live here in Gibson City, a nice friendly town. Although we find pretty much everything we need , would like to see more variety in the Mexican food section,like Menudo and the yellow pepper chilies in a jar. Otherwise a great market.

Staff is always friendly and welcoming. Produce is nice. Things are a little pricey but the penny pincher coupons really help. And every 10th gallon of milk is free!

Amanda had a smart mouth and extremely poor customer service skills when my daughter called and was curious why they would tell her to come to a walk in interview Tuesday when she was told to come Friday. Then she claimed to say "IV already interviewed your daughter(which she never met the applicant)...but I have no one scheduled today."But when the applicant called they said that they were booked....no wonder the kids dislike working at this establishment.Now my grandaughter said Amanda scheduled her Tuesday.. because EVEN THOUGH SHE HAS NO ONE SCHEDULEDTODAY...she said she would be too busy to get to her.....sounds like management needs to have her take some courses.

Nice deli and good beer selection. I dropped an entire case of cokes on accident and it busted spewing Coke everywhere. The staff didn't really flinch. They were friendly and polite.

I don't see how people can afford to shop in the store without the coupons.. It's more like the "County Mark Up" for real..just take a look at the milk prices?????? At least the staff is extremely helpful and super friendly..

county market is a very nice small town store, the employees are people who live here locally. a great place for kids to start out with jobs. but the items are over priced. alot of times you need to decide if its worth 15 bucks for gas to run to walmart in rantoul or aldis in champaign or pay the pipper. most of us are on a budget and would love a competitive store for groceries. you would think that cm would try to make prices lower for residents who cannot drive out if town or have a brand name thats competitive with champain prices. people would stay and buy here if that were so. why pay 4.00 for a gallon of milk when champaign is 1.29. or eggs at 2.75 and champaign is 68 cents. big difference.
