Clean store nice employees working but sick of coming here and getting expired food no one wants to eat expired food , they need to be checking shelves better and stocking the shelves with non expired food

I purchased a pair of cute, pink shoes for my daughter at the Georgetown Family Dollar because she loved them. She wore them to school 3 days and they came apart. I called the store to ask about returning them. An employee said they'd refund the money so I drove over from Indiana to return them. But the Manager refused to do a refund or to even give me store credit (she went against Family Dollar's company policy) claiming they must have been worn much longer than 3 days to fall apart (implying I was lying to her). Then she tried to say they were on clearance. They weren't. Then when I told her I didn't need the $7.50 I paid for the shoes and therefore wasn't trying to "pull a fast one" on her, she degraded her own store's quality by saying "you bought dollar shoes, that's what you should expect." Worst store experience of my life. Out $7.50, out a pair of shoes, out the gas and time it took to drive to and from the store. I won't shop there again.

So my husband went to family dollar to get some pop and he went to walk in and they were being very rude im sorry they close at 9 not 8:30 one of the workers told him they were closing it was 8:25 they weren't closing they need new people or get shut down im sorry but I don't appreciate them being rude they are suppose to be doing there job we have it on video this isn't the first time they were like this
