Love stopping in here. Very cute place and nice people. They have a dairy free yogurt parfait that changes seasonally, always delicious, and they also have a gluten free Maple Chicken Crepe I enjoy. I love that there are options for me, including the soup from time to time.They have cute little markets on the weekends and I just attended a macrame class there with my daughter last night.Also, we actually just moved out of Genoa and were happy to find them in their truck “Doorthy” every Friday around our community center. What a great surprise - the truck only serves drinks though.Dietary restrictions: Gluten and dairy free options

"Good coffee makes you smile"I've loved this coffee since they appeared in a homestead wedding reception a few years back as a coffee truck, and I've been hooked since then! I'll always choose to support small businesses especially when it's this good 😜 It's been a "Lifesaver" in more ways than one I get that flavor Lifesaver and or the Matterhorn when I go, conveniently they NOW have a Drive-Thru allowing people like me heading to an in-home shoots to get a quick coffee and head out! Thanks guys! ❤️

If you’ve been thinking about trying Open Door Coffee, this is the sign to go!A well themed, cozy yet elegant local stop to get coffee, tasty treats, delicious sandwich combos and more in downtown Genoa!Currently working on the banana foster parfait and let me say the flavor combination is to die for!To drink I ordered the Matterhorn in a size medium over ice. I found that mixing in the whipped cream and mocha syrup gave the drink the perfect amount of sweetness, however if you like to keep the whip on top and a sweeter taste, I suggest asking for additional sweetener.Will be back again, a lovely experience.

What a lovely place for a sweet treat and coffee. We walked from Prairie State and thoroughly enjoyed a mocha and Americano as well as a delicious warm brownie. Great atmosphere with plenty of seating indoor and out. Bring a book to read or your laptop for working remotely in a change of scenery. Or just go there for dessert after a lunch or brunch. Friendly people plus a little surprise boutique shop for jewelry and some bike accessories. Need to bring coffee and a gift for your loved one? They have you covered.

They went to Cornerstone school and there coffee was amazing. So I drove to there shop and I am so happy I found this Gem. The banana bread is the best bread I have ever tasted. I will be a loyal client for sure. It made my day to find a coffee shop God bless this beautiful business. And they have a drive thru and lots a of parking its so awesome ❤️

OpenDoor Coffee is my absolute favorite coffee shop. Today Jeremy made my favorite drink (the iced LalaLavander) even though they had already closed and gotten into their car. It really made my night, as we had just gotten bad news from the doctor. This summer, my sister and I stopped at their food truck every Thursday during the Dekalb farmer's market for an iced LalaLavender coffee and free popsicles for the kids. The staff at OpenDoor Coffee is always extremely kind. They happily accommodate both my allergies and my childrens' disabilities, and it means so much to me. They have genuinely changed my life because I can take my kids with me knowing that they will ALWAYS be both safe and welcome there.

First off, Happy Birthday to Tracy!!! We had such an amazing experience with her on the morning of July 27th. My wife & I + our two little boys were departing Sycamore for the Upper Peninsula of Michigan for vacation. We pulled up to the driveway-thru window & didn’t even realize we were nearly a half an hour early before the store opened. Lights were off, but Tracy was evidently already there opening up & happened to notice us as we were pulling away. She reached out the window to wave us down & offered to make us breakfast & coffee & to just give her a few minutes to get things turned on.. which was beyond kind & completely unexpected/unnecessary since the store wasn’t even open to the public yet. We were so grateful & appreciative of her going out of her way to do that for us when she didn’t have to.I’m not just saying this, but our breakfast sandwiches & coffee were amazing as well! Really hit the spot! Not to mention, Tracy was so kind to send us off with some water for our long car ride. It truly made our experience & our trip that morning so enjoyable! We won’t forget that! We absolutely love having Open Door Coffee in this community!

I've had their coffee a couple times now and have yet to be disappointed! This last time I went to the drive thru, not knowing exactly what I wanted. I told the barista flavors I liked and she recommended the Nutella cold brew, so I got that with oat milk and it was SO GOOD! It's a bit more expensive, in my opinion, but I'd rather spend my money there than at a big chain!

This was my (and my niece's)1st visit and we enjoyed it! Friendly staff, cozy space, enjoyable music, delicious mini cinnamon rolls, and coffee. I had been paying attention to the place early on back when there were signs but it wasn't yet open. I live in Rockford and only get down this way periodically. I will be back! Enjoyed the Irish music and Mr. Tierney's performance of Galway Girl, which I'd requested!

Stopped by today after my morning shift for an afternoon pick me up, it was a great experience. I was very thankful for all the signage directing costumers to the drive through, as it looks a bit confusing at first! But I made it and the employee (I forgot her name but assuming she was the owner) was so friendly! And of course the coffee was delicious. I'll definitely be back!

Hands down best coffee shop I’ve ever been to! Each visit is greeted with a smile and the warmth of family. I have never been disappointed in a purchase, from Italian sodas and iced coffee to the many, many howlers I’ve brought home to share. I admire the partnership they’ve made with other small businesses in the surrounding area, bringing a delightful variation of treats and trucks to support. My day started out very early and in the first part I experienced some real disappointment and with me kind of down in spirit. So I needed a pick-me-up and decided I needed good cup of coffee. I did a Google search on Open Door and I liked what I saw especially the message they had posted. So I visited the truck and met Nick got a great cup of coffee and some good conversation and and got the pick me up that I needed. I also got some beans to take home and had a great cup of coffee again this morning. I look forward to many return visits to Open Door. This is a great new business for Genoa

I love coming to open door for coffee, protein shakes or just their yummy snacks.I happen to be driving through today and grabbed a coffee, protein shake and their Pb&J bar.I ate the bar first and just wow!! I want to buy all of them as they were delicious.Best place around!

Thank goodness for a private-owned coffee shop focusing on quality goods at decent prices! Prices are right on point for what you’re getting. My wife and I really recommend the cold brew...very addicting. We really appreciate the friendly staff and atmosphere, and can’t wait to see how the build-out looks! These people are the real-deal, folks, and are doing a lot of the work to expand on their own. Keep doing what you’re doing, OpenDoor! We tell everyone about you!

My family and I LOVE OpenDoor Coffee! Their coffee truck is so stinkin’ cute and I love that they’re able to keep the truck open while rehabbing the property to become a coffee shop! They bring such a unique vibe to our small town and the owners are so sweet! Not to mention their coffee is the best around - especially the cold brew! 10/10 recommend!
