Dr. Sam and Dr. Joe and staff are great. Very easy to talk to and very thorough in their exams. Genoa Animal Hospital has taken care of many of our dogs through the years. We are very happy with them.

Everyone was so helpful and patient with Blu. Blu loved Dr Sam and all the ladies working that day. They loved on her and treated her with kindness. They took the time to show us how to properly clean her ears when they bother her.

My last visit I was given some bad news about my senior cat. Dr Dannehy was very kind and compassionate in delivering the news, explaining options and also tolerant of the blubbering mess in front of her (me 🙂). All of the techs treated my cat with kindness. I wouldn't take my cats anywhere else.

They are very caring. My pets health was explained to me so I would understand. They helped me to make the right decision for my cat. I would recommend them to anybody.Unfortunately I had euthanize the second cat in this picture. I will miss them both very much. Genoa Animal Hospital are very caring. The vet was great but the entrance into the clinic was awful. I will wait in my car until they have an open room next time. Dogs that are reactive especially when dealing with anxiety can make for a dangerous and stressful situation.

I brought my doggies both in today for shots and one had a suspected ear infection I noticed 2 days ago. They got them in for an appointment so quickly! From the time I walked in until we left there were very good to all of us. My fur babies were treated so well by the assistants and the doctor. All three ladies were so nice and gentle it didn’t even scare my Cocoa who is 14 years old. Dukes ears will hopefully be better soon! I will definitely be a coming back yearly with my dogs and very soon with my kitties as well. Thanks for being so caring towards my family! 💙💙

It's always a great experience taking our cats here. It's clear the whole team cares a lot, and I never feel services being pushed if we don't need them. I usually have to come with my little ones along and typically going anywhere with small children in tow can be a lot for anyone, but we are only ever met with patience and smiles no matter how many silly questions they have about the vet checking their fur babies. Wouldn't take our pets anywhere else.

I could not recommend this business more. Everyone we interacted with was so sweet, from the front desk, to the assistants, to the doctor. I do not have one bad thing to say. I really appreciated that we even got a live cost estimate at our visit, as my cat needed all the things and I was overwhelmed with how much everything would amount to, I didn’t even have to ask for the estimate in the first place. Will definitely be returning and recommending this place!

My cat had an injury that needed quick looking after, and his "old" vet was unable to take him for an appointment. After many (frantic) calls, Dr. Joe came to the rescue. He fit us in, treated kitty, and was AWESOME to both cat and (panicked) owner. We left feeling confident about treatment and outcome. Dr. Joe is amazing and he's now our new vet. Can't recommend him enough.

As someone that has had dogs and lived in the Dekalb/Sycamore area my entire life I have been to a good majority of the veterinarian clinics in the area at some point or another. Dr. Samantha Dannehy is by far the best vet I have ever dealt with. Even through the worst of situations at the end of a companions life she is compassionate and supportive. My current situation is a rescue dog with complex issues. She goes above and beyond to fully understand the issues, stay up-to-date and does whatever she possibly can to help. When she cant she will point you in the direction you need to go. The rest of the team the techs and receptionists are always very helpful and friendly as well. I have never written a google review but I could not let her work go without being acknowledged.

I love Genoa Animal Hospital. I have never been to a vet before that has 100% compassion, integrity, and just genuinely cares. Dr. S. Is the best around. When he had to put my first dog down, and believe me that was the hardest thing for me to go through and I am sure everytime he has to do that, he and his staff, just perfect. I absolutely love Dr Sam and so does my dog. Dr Sam was recommended by a local dog breeder/trainer. We're finally getting the help we need for a long-standing ear infection and allergies. Dr Sam is very knowledgeable and takes the time to thoroughly explain the issues my dog is facing and treatment options. She is very compassionate towards both me and my dog. The staff is super kind, patient and accommodating. As a novice dog owner, this means A LOT to me. I can't speak highly enough about them and we travel quite a distance so see this vet. And...they let me come into the exam room with my dog when it warrants. I very much appreciate that!

Very professional and caring. Dr. Seneczko explained everything in detail, did not feel hurried. Natalie was very caring, she kept you well informed as to what was going on, very organized. The office was inviting. They inform you what the costs are going to be before they proceed with any procedure.

We adopted our dog Amaya from someone local. She was a prior patient however we had never been. We had a very positive experience with the first visit. Staff was extremely helpful in setting up the appointment as Amaya was still under previous owners name. Got her shots completed quickly and we were allowed to stay in the room. Amaya is now all up to date!! Big thanks to GAH and we will be back with all our other pets 👍 highly recommend this staff 🤘

They Always take great care of our 2 dogs to our satisfaction. Whenever there has been an urgent need, they do their best to get me in right away. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and would highly recommend This Business and Crew!
